I believe you go to File > Render.

Something will pop up. Hit 'Browse' and place the file where you want to save it.
In Output format, you can find a drop down menu of formats to chose from. Chose WAV or MP3 then click Render. :D

Uh. To set the microphone you'll be using, you just go to Options > Preferences > Device. Then use input drop down to pick it.

To make your microphone active, click the dark red AR button on the track.

Nope, nothing special needed.
To get to the EQ effect thing,

Go to Track > Insert New Track

On the new track, there will be three little buttons in a row. ( oi, env, fx.) Click on fx.

Type EQ in the search filter thing.
Click VST: ReaEQ.


Go to Preset > Clear Vocals

Adjust and experiment with the points until the sound isn't as loud.

Yeah, I use Reaper. :c I don't know how you to do the effect in Audacity.
