Oh goodness I loled to much. My apologize. Yes I have heard that question many times. But the other can be true as well. I don't what you read for your answers, but as a guy myself, here's my opinion on it. One trick my mother used when she was interested in a guy was she would send invites to the boy and other people so it wouldn't be awkward. Then, she confronted him and just told him the truth. Wonders it does to just give it straight. Hints are a cute and flirty/artistic way to it, but 80% of guy do not read the signs nor the atmosphere.
And as for that self of steam......how do you expect to win his heart if you don't believe in your self. You need to believe your smart, beautiful, and as for being social, don't worry. If you have good friends and family, they can help you out. You don't have to truck it alone. I don't think guys are all as complicated as it seems. I think we just put on this look/aura that makes us "mysterious" but I bet I could read the guy like a book. It's women that are mysterious to me.
