Well, since the storyline is being worked on still, I don't really have the ability to explain it since it's still up for changes. However I can say that this is a standalone game, you can see it as a fanmade reboot so to speak, there won't be any references to the original series other than the mythology behind the games.

Well, we have Firion, Lightning, Cecil, Kaine, Kimahri (I already have our design for him, worked on that one too so I can show it to ya if you want?), Seymour, Zack and a bunch of other characters. They'll be divided between different (original) worlds though.

Well, we already have a whole lot of FF characters, a bit too much to me but we're working as a team so not everything will be things that I like, although we try to find a way to make it work for everyone.

The Black Cauldron will be used no matter what though, The Horned King will have a big role in the story ;)

6 months already but only a few months with a solid story in mind. We already have gameplay mechanics thought up, character designs, music has been made (more than the 2 I made by other people, some much better than my work), a list of worlds has been decided although will still cut some worlds out though.

Well, for the time being no xD. We're basically still working on the story actually so it'll still take some time until we're gonna move on to write scenario's/dialogue and stuff. But I'll be sure to let you know if you can help with something, that is if you wanna help ;D

Well, it depends, at some places we have already many people to help but for some things we really need more people f.e. programming, 3d modeling (we're using the Unity engine), character designs (if you drawing style is close to tetsuya nomura's drawing style). Also people who can write very good scenario's (scenario's that won't sound like fanmade, smart dialogue etc.) are needed, so yeah, I don't know what you had in mind? :p

So, this project actually started as a fun idea of the mods at Khinsider. They thought it would be fun to make threads and ask in those threads how the members of the forum would make a KH game, purely hypothetical of course. However, little did they know that people would actually start to take it serious and actually start to make character designs, story, gameplay elements, even if the mods didn't continue to make threads, we kept on working. One day someone of the forum contacted us, told us he was able to actually program our game and make it reality. From that day on, we're working every day on the game :)
