I don't like being unemployed, but the prospect of working somewhere scares me as well. Ian scared of horrible bosses, bad hours, working with people I don't like. I only want something for the year, but my god the cost of travel looks like it'll be more then what I earn, at this rate. Crossing my fingers and all, so yeah.

I wouldn't say travel alone on the tube, at least for females. Heard a couple of freaky people on the tube that have involved women, but not as far as groping. It's not the safest place being in a carriage where few outside people can get to you. still travel in a pair or groups you'll almost never be talked to. Unfortunately the bigger the place the more crimes are committed, still don't wanna scare you, it's not common at all.

It is very good, call ahead i'll do cheap lodging if you ever need to stay near London! :P It's the biggest varied shopping place till you hit central London I'd say, we have two shopping centres and a varied amount of shops up the high street. Now I sound like a promoter. It's great just living 4-5 streets away, I don't go out enough though which is silly but not many places that I like to go loads. I haven't been to the pub in a while, I need to get out of this house! ;.;

I feel an obligation to stay here, at home, and take care of them even when they say don't let us hold you back, but it's just something I feel like I have to do it. I can drive, I've had a full license since late March, and been driving for 2 years in total. Never made a long driving trip anywhere, so Birmingham might be a bit of a sgraffito start out with. Maybe Milton Keynes first since my Uncle lives there. I get so bored of driving, if it wasn't for car radio I would t drive at all.

I don't know much about Uni life from first hand experience but it should be familiar to sixth form, apart from if you live away, and making new friends but from what I've seen of my friends who have gone, they've made friends fairly easily enough. Just. Wait till you have to find a job, I'm not having luck in anything I think I could cope with a the moment, but I'm trying to keep a positive outlook till I get into a Uni next year.

You sound very much like a tourist! XD. Not that it's a bad thing since you are, and it's nice to know that some people appreciate the sights. The tube can be hell at times, one time when a charity I work for planned a day out with the kids we take care of I got stuck at the door, neck bent to fit in, as a women was rolling a pram into me for about an hour. Nightmare, we had 30 kids as well, that was tough to try and keep an eye on them.
I don't come from a very posh background personally, the Ritz is a little up market for me. Posh is just quite... overbearing and fake to me. But I hope I can be proven wrong plenty enough.

I shop online more then anywhere, much cheaper. I usually go out when I have vouchers or I meet up with people. Keep envying me! :p

My parents aren't exactly active, they've both got disability problems at the moment and couldn't walk far at all. One of the reasons that we do t explore places we don't know is because of that.maybe if they both have their operations work out in the next few years then I'll convice them to move a bit northward! :D
