Naturally, I'll be willing to judge outside of my own matches. How do intend to manage to actual tournament rounds? Separate threads? Or are we fighting on the IC and judging battles on the OOC?

managed to finish. Printed and everything. I also managed to get like 40 words away from the max word limit. And that's probably good, considering I'm always having to rewrite a lot of my papers because my dad is so picky.

Ah allow me. For a beginner such as yourself (no offense) you need to know how it works.

Well when changing the first digit of the address it affects how much of the data gets "changed"

Address = XXXXXXXX YYYYYYYY
Data = XXXXXXXX YYYYYYYY

There are different names for types of codes. Three of the common ones are 8, 16, and 32 bit.

8 Bit = 0XXXXXXX YYYYYYYY
16 Bit = 1XXXXXXX YYYYYYYY
32 Bit = 2XXXXXXX YYYYYYYY

So the front number tells you how much of the data is being changed, used, or otherwise.

So if you are hacking a code and only changing the last four digits that is 16 bit so your code would look like this 1XXXXXXX YYYYYYYY

or in KH2 coding it would look like this

11CFA3FC 0000????

Where the ?'s are your slot for digits and the code starts with a 1 because it is only changing the last four digits and the rest are 0's

Nope codes that start with a 4 are compressed.

Most codes aren't compressed though.....
