Can someone explain to me why one-way flights cost nearly twice as much as a round trip? I mean seriously, wtf?
Because round trips make you end up in the same place. You go from A to B, and then back from B to A again. Why would they charge people more for a trip that cancels itself out? That doesn't make any sense.
Lot of businesses send their employees on one-way flights, so a lot of airlines simply know that they can afford those higher rates. It's stupid I know, but yeah it's better to buy round-trip on most airlines.
