Amy Adams will be playing Lois Lane in Man of Steel?

    What?

Amy Adams is super hot, but I don't picture her to be the Lois Lane type.

Then again I didn't think Emma Stone would be a good Gwen Stacy, but I absolutely loved her in that role.

I only intend to watch this movie for Christopher Meloni, I'm not a huge fan of the superhero movies (although Avengers was AWESOME!)

    This.

And well, we never imagined Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, or Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy.
But both of them turned out great. I'm sure Amy Adams will be fine.

Strangely, Superman is one of those well-known superheroes I know nigh nothing about. I've seen snippets of the older comics here and there, and from them I have begun to form the opinion that he is batshit fuckin' insane. But yeah, I know nothing about his modern incarnation. And I should not judge him based on his Silver Age appearances, as superheroes in that era all arguably were "batshit fuckin' insane".

Just reading into his history, tho... can you blame me for thinking so?
An essay written by Larry Niven and Curt Swan, who illustrated the Superman comics for over three decades.

I suppose, though, Superman wasn't the only hero subject to pervy writers/artists. Here's looking to you, Chris Claremont...
