I was playing with the toplinks bar thing and wanted to get rid of the 'My Profile' link, since clicking your name does the same thing, I figured I'd make it a little more friendly. c:
I would rather have someone be "Hey there my best pal Misty!" than "Welcome Misty."

Welcome just sounds creepy. D:

See to me that sounds more creepy then "welcome".

 

If the goal is to avoid creepy, then I'd go with a casual, "'Sup dawg."

Yeah, it should be a new stupid comment each day. The explanation mark makes me feel like they're shouting at me.
