"At least, not right now." Hannah got off Edward's lap to sit next to him.

Beatrice squeaked when she heard Lestat's voice in her head. "Um, no," She said to Jinx. "I haven't really paid attention though."

"Good luck with that." John muttered to Will.

 

"That's fine," Edward replied. "I can wait. You know," he began, wanting to voice something that was on his mind. "The full moon is coming around again... in less than a week now."

 

"If you wish," Lestat grinned. "I'm sure you have plenty of other things to do."

 

"Oh well. I'm sure you figure it out soon enough." Jinx shrugged. "I'll bet it's something to do with compassion or animals or something..." she thought outloud.

Will nodded, "So true. But I am interested now, so I'll keep and eye and ear open for what you try to teach the newer vampires."

 

Hannah leaned against Edward so her head was on his shoulder. "You'll want to be alone again... won't you...?"

Beatrice smiled. "I guess that won't be so bad."

BIC: "yeah, it would fit you I think. But we'll see, huh?" Jinx smiled and rolled her neck to crack it quickly.

 

"I don't know," Edward sighed, putting his arm around her shoulder. "It depends how bad it gets... I want to try to stay close."

 

Van Helsing yawned, pushing back his hat to look out over the horizon. The sun was just beginning to go down. His eyes kept failing on him, his head falling down against his chest.

I can stay up, he told himself firmly. Just... stay... up...

 

"Alright," Lestat sighed. "Oh, you're not going to like this," he added to John, "but that hunter driving your girl around is going to crash that thing from lack of sleep."

 

"Oh dear, let's see what happens then." Will said, sounding more interested than actully upset himself.

"Hells!" Jinx yelped, seeing Van Helsing falling asleep and the other carrige vering off the road. "Van Helsing wake up!" she yelled at him. When he didn't respond she jumped over to the other carrige and grabbed the reigns from his hands, pulling the horses back onto the road straight. "Stupid, stupid. Why didn't you just go to sleep ealier when you had the chance." she muttered angrily.

 

John cursed. "Then I'll be right back." He transformed and burst out of the trees, quickly locating the carriages, but staying a fair distance away.

Beatrice surpressed a giggled. I think she just wants to be next to him.

"You can't glue yourself to me." Hannah smiled, ignoring the rukus outside. I bet he finally fell asleep.

OOC: "i'll get you yet, you stupid dog. you won't bark at me after this"

 

"Alright, I won't," Edward sighed, a little hurt, moving away from her slightly. The carriage was rocking and bumping around on the road now, and he smack the roof of the carriage with his fist.

"Wake up, you idiot!" Edward yelled. "Don't kill us yet!"

 

"Quite the hero, isn't he?" Lestat smirked, following John.

 

Van Helsing woke up abruptly, shaking his head and yawning at Jinx.

"Sorry," he apologized. "I really wasn't tired earlier... I guess I should rest more often... is everyone alright?"

 

"I wouldn't mind it though." Hannah said, trying to make Edward feel better. "Though I am going with Jinx and Beatrice tonight."

Bloody idiot. John shook his head and then watched Beatrice. The new ones are always the most entertaining.

"Barely, you nearly ran into those trees." Jinx answered. "Get some sleep, before you kill someone."

Will laughed, "Oh yes, quite a hero. I never saw that side of him, but maybe this Hannah's bringing out the better in him." he listened for a second. "I think he'll be alittle late to save them though, sounds like they're already back on track."

 

Jake leaned down across his stallion, enjoying the cooling of the air as the sun finally set. I'm sure they'll be stopping soon. I was lucky to come across this group, but I can't underestimate them. I'll take out the newest one first, and then whoever decides to come after that comes next. He steered his stallion into the trees to muffle his hoof steps.

 

"That's fine," Edward said, trying to smile. "I have no problem with you going out with them... I can get used to it. But me every four weeks is different, you must realize that."

 

"Of course," Lestat agreed. "But they're close to the town they'll be stopping in. In a few hours I'm sure John will be wanting to see his girl... alone."

 

"I think I'm up now," Van Helsing said with a little laugh. "That woke me up enough. Thank you," he added sincerely. "For coming over here.""
