"No," Van Helsing replied confidently. "And I don't think I will."

 

"Hm, that's too bad." Jinx shrugged and started walking again.

 

"Could you help me get something out of Sorin's hoof?" Beatrice asked innocently.

"That's fine." John replied. "Things will work better with an audience."

 

Lestat couldn't help but laugh. "Now I'm starting to see you as an older condemned soul," he smiled to himself.

 

"Not for me," Van Helsing smiled, following her. "Are they nearby?"

 

"Yes for you. You will have to remember that I am dangerous. It would be much smarter if you did stop me, you know?" Jinx said, shaking her head, but smiling. "Yeah, I thinnk they're over there." she pointed towards where the two were.

"Yeah, sure..." Carl agreed, walking over to her slowly, "No offence, but can you kind of... well back up a little. I trust you, Beatice, but not that much."

 

"Condemned?" John repeated. "I wouldn't say that. I'd say not guaranteed a good ending."

Beatrice took a couple steps back, appearing innocent still. "It's in his front hoof." She told Carl, smiling.

 

"Good," Van Helsing muttered with a smile.

 

Lestat chuckled. "Maybe," he said. "We shall see."

 

Jinx gave him a warning smile and then turned back to the path."Hannah, Edward?" she called, knowing they were around but not wanting to trip over them to find them.

Carl knelt down next to Sorin's foot with the hoof thingy (OOC: *hides from angelina* don't kill me! idk what it's called! teehee), frowing. "I don't see anything." he said, examining the hoof.

 

Beatrice knelt close to Carl. She took his hand, her fingers on the inside of his wrist, feeling the blood rushing through his veins, and directed him to the pebble in Sorin's hoof. "Right there."

"It's just a waiting game now." John muttered back.

OOC: HOOF PICK!! DX

 

"Over there," Van Helsing muttered, pointing to where he saw Lexi's hoof prints in the muddy forest floor.

 

OOC: yeah that thing! XD *hides behind Hannah just in case*

"oh thanks." Jinx said, following the horse foot prints.

Carl pulled his wrist away from her. "Beatice, please... just can you stay alittle away? Sorry, but I'm a little paranoid."

 

"Oh, aren't they cute when they're sleeping?" Van Helsing whispered with a small laugh, pointing to Hannah and Edward, both asleep under their blankets next to Lexi. "My poor horse."

 

Edward stirred, shaking his dream from his eyes. He held Hannah tighter to him, and then saw Van Helsing and Jinx.

"Are we talking again, then, you two?" he muttered, kissing Hannah's forehead lightly to wake her up. "We didn't think you'd find us that fast."

 

Jinx smirked, "It's that werewolf smell, easily tracked for miles." she answered, ignoring the first comment.

 

Hannah stirred and smiled, but did not wake since she was so comfortable with Edward.

Beatrice stood quickly and backed away. "Sorry...." She mumbled.

 

"It's okay, just... you know, remember your kind of running on instinct." Carl said, giving her a small smile. He turned back to Sorin's hoof and cleared it out. Straightening up he looked at her. "There you go, all done."

 

"I should kill you right now, Edward," Van Helsing snapped, only with half a smile. "Do you know how important that horse is to me?"

 

"I understand," Edward replied coolly. "But I know your better nature will save me from having you murder anyone around you right now."
