The Infected

Rita gasped when she saw the state Xioimara was in. "A-are you ok?" She asked Xioimara.

 

"Xioimara." She answered. "Thank you." The pains in her body were now dull. They sharpened if she moved. Xioimara looked at Rita. "I'll live." She said to Rita. Xioimara noticed her vision clearing up slightly. "Where are the others?"

 

Rita shook her head. "Im not to sure, Toki's still in the hospital, Blade is.... well i don't really know where he is, Mark,Roxas and Riku are down in the town along with Sinder" She replied with a sigh.

 

Blade was ontop of a rooftop holding his head. He reached into his pocket and brought out a bottle. After opening the lid he took a sip from it and sighed

 

Xara just nodded her head and stood up. It seemed like things were undercontrol here. Xioimara had a friend here to watch out for her now. And it sounded like she had other friends. She didn't know whether or not she should stick around. The person she was looking for could've moved to another world by now. 'Hm...'

 

"Who?" Xioimara asked. She didn't know Riku, Roxas nor Marks name. She had only had a rather awkward run in with them.

 

"Those three boys who don't think that the Infected are trustworthy" She said, staring at Xioimara

 

"Ah." Xioimara didn't have much to say. As her form shifted she stood up. Her wounds had scabbed over and she had a little energy in her. "I don't blame them." Xioimara commented. Though she protected them from the beast, she wasn't totally trustworthy. She had a limp in her walk, Xioimara tried not to put weight on her damaged right leg.

 

Rita rushed over to her. "Careful, we need to get you seen to...can you walk?" she asked.

 

"I believe so." Xioimara was mostly checking how well she could hold her weight. The large wolf started over to Xara. "Thank you." She said. Xioimara tested her weight on her right leg. The pain was fading quickly though her wounds would take a few days to heal up.

 

Xara looked at Xioimara and smiled under her hood. She bowed slightly in respect towards her and then stood up straight. "Anytime. You should rest up before you decide to do anything else. Those were some pretty heavy wounds you had."

 

"Resting sounds nice." Xioimara gave a small smile. She had an anxiety at the bottom of her stomach telling her something would most likely go wrong and she was slightly fearful to rest. There seemed to be non-stop trouble. Not that she didn't enjoy it. Xioimara favored destruction... When she was fit to protect herself.

 

"If you want, I can make a portal to any place you want to go. Just as long as it's some place you can rest." Xara chuckled and then looked at the other girl. "You can probably come along too, if you wanna. My name is Xara by the way, what's yours?"

 

Rita looked at Xara. "I'm Rita, pleasure to meet you." she smiled.

 

Xioimara thought for a moment. She didn't want to be around a lot of people. "Do you know any nearby rivers or waterfalls?" Xioimara asked.

 

"Pleasure to meet you as well, Rita." Xara then turned her attention back to Xioimara and grinned under her hood. "Sure! I know just the place." Xara extended her right hand out and made a portal. Relaxing by a waterfall sounded nice. Xara looked over her shoulder to the way she came. She wondered if Sinder was going to follow or not. 'Well, might as well leave it open for her, just in case.'

"And I'm FH!" FH exploded out of the bag again, making her entrance. She heard Xara groan and slapped her forehead with the palm of her hand and giggled. "I like surprising people! You should know that by now, Xara!"

"Remind me to get a backpack with a buckle I can secure to keep you in that thing..."

 

Rita looked down at FH. "Uhh...wow" She looked up at Xara as if to say "WTF!"

 

The wolf looked at the small creature. It was full of energy. Xioimara followed Xara through the portal. A nice waterfall with no people around besides those two, which didn't bother Xioimara. She laid down with her front paws dipping into the water.

 

Rita hesitated before going through, "I wonder if toki's ok" She sighed under her breath. The sound of running water instantly soothed her, she looked around. "Wow.. its really nice here"

 

Xara just shrugged her shoulders at Rita, not really sure what to say. Then she walked through the portal after her new friend and plopped down by her by the water. "Hm... it's really nice here." Xara took off her backpack and set it beside her. "You can come out, FH. Just don't go too far, okay?"

"Yeah!" The little shadow heartless rolled out of the backpack, landing on her rump. She then looked around with her beedy yellow eyes, looking at the place around her. "It's so purty!" FH then giggled and scampered not too far away from Xara, starting to scout for butterflies.
