The Infected

Rita feltas if the world had stopped around her. "TOKI!!" she screamed. She knelt down beside him, "No, no this isn't happening, Toki please...don't-" The Bear Roared at her.
"Aww put a Sock in it!" she screamed at it, She looked back at Toki. She took out her Sash and rested Toki's head on it to slow down the bleeding.
"Toki.." She weeped

Xioimara awoke to noises. Her ears perked up. She knew exactly where it was coming from. Xioimara squeezed out of her sleeping spot and quickly moved to the area of where Toki and Rita resided. As she neared the area she saw the bear. Xioimara ears went back as her hackles rose and she showed her teeth.

Xioimara's muscles pumped with excitement as she darted towards the creature. Xioimara pounced off the ground and managed to land her teeth and claws into the creatures scruff. Her eyes glowed red with adrenaline as she knew this was an even or lost match. The creature roared and managed to throw Xioimara from it. She landed heavily against the ground but got right back to her feet after a stumble.

The bear swiped her with a paw sending her to the ground again. She could feel blood slowly start to spill from her back and the side of her face. Xioimara found her feet and leaped towards the creature biting down on the front of its neck. The beast easily found a way to throw Xioimara off again. 'Not without a fight.' Xioimara manged to hook her claws into the bears snout. It roared as she tore through its snout. Xioimara felt the points of its claws meet her stomach. Xioimara let go, knowing this fight was over and lost.
The wolf hit the ground with a yelp. She remained motionless. Too much of a bother to want to move. She wheezed slightly, keeping her left eye closed to avoid anymore damage. Xioimara remained motionless, her good eye remained on the beast as it started away in a rush, most likely afraid that Xioimara had a pack.

 

Rita Watched as Xioimara battled the bear. Rita Stood up and rushed over to the wolf after she had been thrown off the bear countless times. "...Are..You ok" She asked her voice quivering...

 

Xioimara forced herself to sit up as Rita asked her if she was okay. "You kiddin' me?" She had a carefree and relaxed expression on her face. "He barely touched me." She smiled. With her blood came a high-tolerance to pain. This was still barely bearable for her as she felt like her was about to fall apart but she managed.

 

"You...sure?" she asked, looking from her to Toki.

 

"I'll be fine. Go take care of him." Xioimara nodded towards Toki. With that Xioimara laid down before she could collapse. She rolled onto her side to avoid any weight on her stomach wound and laid her head down, closing her eyes. The pain was like those really dull headaches that kept you awake at night. She breathed in a slightly heavy way and figured she would just have to wait it out.

 

Rita looked back at Toki and then back at Xioimara "Stay safe, i'll come back with help" She whispered in the wolf's ear, She then ran over to Toki and picked him up gently and headed back to the hospital. "Toki...please...wake up." She sobbed silently
OOC: i'll play the receptionist for a min
Rita Charged into the hospital and ran straight up to the Receptionist.
"Why hello arn't you that lovely couple from-"
"HE NEEDS URGENT TREATMENT!!!, PLEASE HE'S LOSING BLOOD FAST, PLEASE GET A DOCTER!!!" Rita Screamed at the top of her lungs.
"O-okay" She said as she picked up her phone and dialed a number.
Rita looked at Toki's face, he looked..peaceful
"Please Toki! don't leave..me" She sobbed.

 

OOC: Sorry I didn't post in a while, I had to do something...So yeah, I guess you can just take him to his room and then he'll wake up.​

A Doctor came and led Rita too Toki's room, he patched the wounds on his head and set him up to a heart beat sensor, the doctor told Rita that he might not survive, at this Rita punched him and locked him out the room....
She looked at him, "Toki" she said sadly as she held his hand.

OOC: I gotta go i might have time for another post but i doubt it :(

Toki's eye opened slightly. His vision was blurred. He opened both eyes, blinked them a few times, and finally realized that he was in the hospital and that Rita was with him. He smiled. "H-hey Rita..." He said weakly. "How a-are you?" He tried to sound okay as he sat up in his bed, head throbbing.​

 

OOC: yeah this is ma last post just now

BIC: Relief washed over Rita as Toki got up. She put a hand on his shoulder
"I..im fine but you need... rest." She said, smiling at him

 

Sinder watched them and tears filled her eyes. She would never know a love like that. She was reminded of the emptiness that filled her chest and she clutched where her heart was. 'At least they're happy,' she thought to herself. 'All I can do is watch as the things I can't have unravel before me.'

 

Xioimara quietly rested. She had a pretty good idea that Rita wouldn't come back. Xioimara only cared if she was trusted yet... And whether or not she was going to bleed to death out here. Her back and stomach were still bleeding profusely but her facial wound had managed to coagulate.

Xioimara still had enough energy to sit up again. Her front legs shook badly from lack of energy. She had wondered where Sinder had gone off to. She left at the wrong time, that was for sure. Xioimara whined and tried to howl in hopes somebody would hear.

 

Sider heard Xioimara and flew down to her. "What happened?" she asked as she took out bandages from one of her pockets to wrap Xioimara's wounds.

 

OOC: i don know wat to do without AndrewTemari.. *sigh*

 

Toki chuckled and looked around. "Where's Xioimara?" He asked. He coughed deeply. He felt the back of his head. It felt like fabric. "Wow, I really got hit hard, huh?" He smiled.​

 

Xioimara dropped back onto the ground as her wounds were wrapped. Her world was blurry and she could swear she was seeing two Sinders. "Bear." She coughed. "Rita. Toki. Hospital." Xioimara breathed and with a slow exhale closed her eyes.

 

Rita smiled at him."Yeah you did, Xioimara over there" She pointed to where they were. "Im gonna have to get help for her,She Saved your Life"

 

"R-really...?" Toki asked. "It doesn't seem like something she'd do. Maybe I judged her before really getting to know her." He started to feel bad. ​

 

Rita shook her head, "Now isn't the time to feel bad and besides im just as surprised as you are.".... Rita's face drooped as she remebered what the doctor said, "No, mustn't..." she tried to force a smile
