The Escape

"I know he didn't..." Anita said, hugging Isabelle back as she felt the tears running down her cheeks. "He tricked us... and I could've prevented it... I could've stopped where I was... now Aqua's hurt..." she said.

 

Isabelle glanced at Dust and sighed. "He wont be comeing back." Dust gave her a look, almost simular to the one Isabelle gave to Elizabeth when she confessed about the incident.

"Alternate....? What are you talking about??" Elizabeth was confused.

"As in, she can find a way so that she's the victem of a death instead of someone else," Aqua said. Elizabeth almost went completely white hearing this. "She couldn't die of doing it, but she can still get hurt and shorten her life spam. I just need to know if she's able to do it."

Anita took a step back and wiped her eyes. "He... was following us when we arrived here... but I don't know where he is..." she said. "He knows where we are... and could very easily come back..."

 

OOC: nice to know you like the idea, lol

"well we can take care of that," Isabelle said said walking over to Dust. Dont get any ideas, she thought to Dust who was just nibbling off grass. Nova pecked the back of Anita's head to confort her.

"Uh, aqua? Are you sleep talking?" Elizabeth said stepping back.

"think about it," Aqua said, "She keeps getting into messes and she's still alive. Almost effortlessly too." Elizabeth shook herhead.

"Those books and Naomi's mind washing act has gotten to you too easly," she said walking back to the room. "Can we....just talk about it later?" Aqua nodded and followed her in the room.

Anita nodded and gently pet Nova, smiling.

BOC: Dust looked up and over to the forest. Nova lowered her head a bit. "I'm going to go for a walk real wquickly," Isabelle said.

"Okay..." Anita said.

Isabelle started to walk agaisnt the wall.

 

Anita gently pet Nova's head a bit more before sitting down, feeling weary. So much had happened... but had it done anything...? A shiver went up her spine as she remembered the feeling of being trapped... The cold, hard bodies of the snake wrapping itself around her body, squeezing her tightly, until she couldn't breathe anymore. Sure, they had gotten free, but had anything happened? The fox said that if they didn't sacrifice themselves, it wouldn't work... But was that true or not?

 

"anita?" Elizabeth walked outside and stood next to her, "Are you alright?"

 

Anita looked up at Elizabeth. "Yeah... I'm just thinking..." She said.

 

"About?" Elizabeth asked petting Nova.

 

Anita sighed. "About if the stars are really gone or not..." She said. "The fox told us that we had to sacrifice ourselves for it to work..."

 

"The fox dosnt have control over anything. He could just be tricking you again," Elizabeth said, "We'll just keep faith in eachother. Like in the stories mother use to tell us."

 

Anita smiled when she remembered the stories. "Yeah..." She said. "And even if the stars really are still out there, we'll find a way to get rid of them..."

 

"I dont think that will be a bit problem," Elizabeth said smileing as Nova snapped trying to scare her. All she did was laugh, "We just need to worry about the fox."

 

Anita smiled and laughed. "Yeah... You're right..." She said. "So, what do we do now...?" She asked. "With all of these guards around, the fox wouldn't dare come near here..."

 

"Gotta remember that the guards arent even ours," Elizabeth pointed out looking at the top of the caslte, "so that might be a little problem."

"That's true..." Anita said. "But somehow, we have to make sure that they were destroyed completely... Or else that could lead to disaster..." She said.

"Hey! Wanna see if Nova still remember's our hidding place?" Elizabeth asked Anita, "I think Isabelle was the only one who never knew about it. Dianna still wasnt in the family."
