Storyline

The Story of Kingdom Hearts was really good and complex and Chain of Memories and II just added more complication with Nobodies and Memories being a factor in the Hearts of Kingdom Hearts .

One thing that doesn't make complete sense in the original Kingdom Hearts that may be answered in Birth by Sleep.

1. If Kingdom Hearts is sealed than the hearts are released? Why does the source of all hearts have to lock the darkness in order to release light?

2. Who were the people that tried to keep light for themselves and in the process create darkness?

1. Becaues if we mix ligh and darkness we get twiligh, and a world with only twiligh is a small dis-balance in the world. Without ligh we can't see and without darkness we can't be able to sleep. A world with twiligh is a world where both light and darkness lurk, only some worlds may reside in both elements.

2. No one knows. That was 10 years ago, as we see Sora seing Kairi's past with her grandmother in Hollow Bastion, the scebne shows Kairi as her younger self. Her grandmother tells her about the story of darkness and light.

 

I'll try my best to answer your questions with knowledge that we have right now.

1.) If Kingdom Hearts is sealed and used than all of the hearts in it join together to make an ultimately powerful one. Light and darkness are brothers; where there is darkness, there is light. It's like if something is somehow projecting darkness, like a flashlight, only darkness, and you cover it, than the light is released. Does that make sense? It does to me...

2.) Isn't that Xehanort and Ansem's other apprentices?

Really? I've cracked Chain of Memories and Reverse/Rebirth, and it's a great storyline. It would, admittedly, be a lot better without the cards, but it's crucial to the storyline, so I let it go. Riku is a lot more fun to play than Sora, but he has the annoying rule of not being able to modify his deck and have healing cards (apart from the Mickey summon). It introduces you to Naminé, and some interesting Organization members. Admittedly, it's confusing the first time around, but you get used to it and it clicks.

As for 2), I think it was Ansem?

 

I doubt that would be in Birth By Sleep, unless it's in a flashback...

You misunderstood me... I said in a flashback IN BBS...

 

yeah but if its a prequel then it would be during, or after BBS

 

That's HALF of my point... the other half is that a flashback in BBS means BEFORE BBS...
