When Sora Sacrificed his heart did you knew he would come back even though it's sad?

 

He's still a Heartless throughout the rest of KH1 and all of CoM, he's just in human form. It's sort of the connection between him and Ansem. I remember someone saying they heard that in an interview.

It's always important to have some sort of connection between hero and villain.

Anyways, I thought it was cool for him to do that cause I gotta play as a heartl3ss ^_^

 

That was so random and ******ed as a heartless. 0_0.
But it was fun jumping off of the castle edges!!

I knew he would come back!! He is the main character, after all! :D

 

I really didn't care. As long as the game continues, I didn't care at all.

 

I didn't know he would be back. So I cried a lot. Then I ate ice cream and had a small party when he did come back.

I was so sad...

*pokes user title* That may have somethin to do with it...

 

Of course I knew. It's Disney, if they see a Main Character die then they get out, Disney won't do it if it involves killing of Main Characters, same thing happened to Goofy, everyone thought he had died but he wasn't.

 

Yeah it doesn't take a genius to figure out that he would take human form again.

 

Though HOW he came back was a little cheezy...

 

Yes, I knew he would come back for several reasons.
1. I had already completed KH2. ANd it would be pretty weird to play as Sora... if he died in the past game..
2. Kingdumb Hearts already pretty much spoiled it for me anyway (I watched those movies before playing the games.... clever me)
3. I had seen the cutscenes on KH-vids already.

Whoa, whoa, he was still a Heartless? Where'd you hear that?

If it's true, I'm both freaked out and totally happy...That would be so awesoome. XD

And...If it is, is he still a Heartless in KH2? Or did Namine fix that while he was asleep, or something?

EDIT: Oh, and, back on topic -- Uh, when he stabbed himself, I cried like a baby. And I didn't know if he was gonna come back, no...It was really dramatic, too, which didn't help (the moment where Kairi tries to catch him and he disappears is a real tearjerker...Or at least, for me, it was, I started crying buckets then...) my situation much, either.

But once I got control of the Shadow Heartless, I had a blast, because I figured they wouldn't put you in control of him like that if he wasn't coming back, and it was a heck of a lot of fun steering around a Heartless.

 

that could be kinda true. maybe he's half heartless. why else could he go anti-form in kh2. maybe the forms unlocked a power to go into his true form

 

Is that why in KH:CoM, Axel (or someone) goes, [SPOILERS FOR THE REST OF THE POST!] "Even after becoming a Heartless, he held on to his feelings. He retained human form. Only one other person has ever been known to do that," (Or something like that, anyway)? Because he said he retained human form, but nothing about Sora changing back FROM a Heartless.

(Mm, I'll have to go check on that, I have all of the Castle Oblivion scenes from the original GBA version on my PC...Let me find the real line...)

Axel: He became a Heartless, Larxene. And you know what happens to people who do.
Larxene: People who lose their hearts also lose their minds, their feelings...They're consumed by the darkness.
Axel: Right. But that didn't happen to Sora. He held on to his feelings, even as a Heartless. Only one other man ever managed to do that.

...I suppose it could hint he's still a Heartless. I'm still a bit doubtful, though.
