Oh man, I finally got snow here. And luckily, it's supposed to snow all day and give about a foot of snow or so. It would be nice to cancel school as well, but I guess I should't hope for more than one thing at a time
"Already"? ._. we don't have snow here yet, and we probably won't for another month, which I'm very happy about. Then again, our school never gets cancelled due to something silly like snow.
Ahh Snow... it still feels like Summer with the weather we're having at the moment ;-; I'm awaiting the downpour of snow soon ^^
here's a few pictures of what it looks like here. And the one with me isn't for show. I just thought I'd give you something different than just scenery Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler Spoiler And that building at the last one is my college
I want snow. It actually makes it nice in my opinion. I hate the heat. At least the snow cools you down.
I like the snow. I hate the snowing. I prefer heat, but I do enjoy the snow that's on the ground. Any snow falling while I'm outside can go to Hell and melt.
Snow already? Where the hell do you live? We haven't gotten snow where I am yet! Which makes me happy actually. If I have to shovel a meter and a half of snow again this year, I'm moving to Hawaii.
Moving to Hawaii? Really? I would love to go there for a trip or something, but I think if I lived in Hawaii I might get a little bored. But I live in Colorado.
Have you ever tried to clear a foot and a half of snow off of your eight car driveway, longer than normal sidewalk, a pathway through a field do I can get to school AND clear the porch and pathways through the backyard so the dog can use the washroom? And this isn't the nice, light, fluffy snow. It's ****ing heavy. I doubt it.
Nope, I've just had to clear about 2 feet of snow that weights an enormous amount of weight, backbreaking work, and having to move it either to the grass or dump it into the road so it goes down the drain.......And why do you have a eight car driveway, longer than a normal sidewalk, and also clearing a path through a field?
You dump it in the road?!? That's illegal (here)!!!! And I gave an eight car driveway because the "driveway" is technically just my lawn, but I have to shovel it all. The sidewalk is longer than normal because it curves and I have to clear acpath through a field so I can get to my bus stop so I can get to school. Thankfully, this winter is supposed to be cold, not snowy. Supposedly.
well, I dump the snow on the road and then I shove it into the drainage pipe. It's a lot better for us and other people when it's out of the way like that. But my sidewalk is a pain too, since living on the corner doesn't exactly shorten our amount of shoveling, and the neighbors behind us don't bother to get their part of the sidewalk either
we usually get snow from October/November to like March or April. Last year it was one of those delayed times, so it went all the way into May.
Try to feet of snow in your drive way, plus an extra two feet of huge icy chunks the plows push into all the entrances of your property. Then push all of that about 50 yards uphill so that they're off the public roads. There's one thing I'm not gonna miss about home...
