Ragnarok

"I warn you now beings of the shadows. Leave now. I know that you intent on bringing harm, but I warn you for what the consequences will be if you are to take such action" Cina said to them, trying to reason things out, since he was some what of a pasafist

 

The red cloaked Shadow stepped forward, its steps womanly. So full of grace. Cat-like nimbleness. "We'll have to pass on such a wonderful offer," spoke the shadow, its voice womanly, musical, beautiful! It snapped its fingers, awaiting to see the warriors to attack. The Minions, small and languid, pursued, attacking from all side.

Uramasses removed the straw hat, placing on the green cowl with white fur trims. He continued his ascention, the winding stair cases vast and limitless. The darkness was much darker beneath the blindfold, his hunch weighing him down. Now, ignoring his own weight, sensing danger with every step he took, he held the sakobatou close to his left hip, his right hand upon the hilt. "Shadow..." he whispered, his rasping voice benevolent, worried.

 

Cina stood on gaurd, waiting for them to attack. He would never throw the first punch, so he observed every one of them, making sure that they were in his sight, already assuming all of the possible moves which they might attempt to perform. He was thinking up tens of stratagies of what he could do to keep himself safe.

 

Obsidian blades and claws formed on the person, the razor sharp edges rigid and dangerous. They all swung their bodily weapons at Cina, Aveum, and Blade, their languid movements now lightning fast. Their dance were now of blades. A beautiful executed Sword Dance. Black petals fell from their very swipes.

The Elite Shadow chuckled, its arms crossed, each hand holding a blade at each hip. It waited for the old man...

Lights of sapphire and jade lit the remaining stairways, giving a heavenly aura. Uramasses approached the door to exit the shrine, which opened on its own accord. Slowly. "Re..." He began, saying the first phrase of a rune. His pink aura arose, sakuras falling about his person.

 

The second one of them struck towards him, he stretched out his arm which was wrapped in the strange leather, and the second the blades hit, they stopped in their tracts, unable to penetrate the strong leather. He then quickly picked up a sharp rock from the ground and lunged it forward, stabbing it into the shadow

BIC:Aveum looked at Cina.
"sorry, but as you can see i have no weapon" Aveum said as he took a step back

"ill let you handle this"Aveum said with his arms crossed smiling.

 

"Certainly. Even cowards need to be protected after all" cina said, not trying to be funny or mean in any way, but simply making the statement which described Aveum which had popped up in his mind.

 

As the door swung open, Uramasses lunged forward. "Zu..." he mumbled, his speed increasing. He sped across like lightning, every sakura that dropped slaying a nearby Shadow. The sakobatou was still in its scabbard.

The elite Shadow stared at the old man, smiling. "Well, if it isn't Sessamaru..." it whispered, removing its cowl with the simultaneous movements of releasing its two schamshirs. The black obsidian blades shined with a red aura. The shadow had beautiful, inhuman features. Obsidian skin, long jet black hair, shining red, pupil-less eyes, and white leather armour. The shadow replicated the attack, speeding across like lightning, but without its swords in its sheath. The womanly entity snickered, swinging the blades out like an "x", trying to scissor Uramasses.

OOC: a coward eh?, you do know that he's holding back right???

BIC: Aveum looked at how the shadows dissapeared, and then looked at the woman

" i guess , i must be a coward then" Aveum said smiling

Aveum moved foward as quick as he was, and blocked the scissor -like blow this lady had given and repelled her back with a blue aura....
"sorry , but, even you should know your limits" Aveum said smiling at the woman .

Uramasses slid past Aveum after the blow, jumping straight up like a rocket as he got right beneath the Shadow. Lightning quick, the blade left its scabbard, beating the Shadow's abdomen in, making her rocket higher, Sakura bursting into thousands upon thousands of cherry blossoms. A second jump, a high jump, was soon performed, the rags falling from the air, as did an ivory mask.

Each hand holding the schamshirs, Sessamaru released his blades. Criss-crossed, the blades went overhead, scissoring one another as the two blades slammed into the Shadow's back, launching her even higher into the air. He landed quickly and silently upon the ground, a whirlwind aura breaking lose, his blindfolded eyes being revealed for the first time. Shining green, pupil-less eyes lit the darkness. "Ken!" he shouted, his body literally flickering and disappearing. Within seconds, the Shadow fell to the ground, creating a crater. He landed softly to the side of the crater, his long white hair dancing freely as the pack that was used as the hunch fell to the ground with the ivory mask and the rags.

The shadows continued their onslaught towards Aveum, Blade, and Cina, their obsidian bodily-weapons gleaming and whistling in the night air. The shadow from the crater arose, her long mane a mess "Hiding like an old fool from your own shadow?" Asked the Shadow, her voice melodious and somewhat off-key. It was like music in water. It was beautiful, but also discordant. She brought up her black crystal blades, her eyes on the two schamshirs on Sessamaru's figure.

Sessamaru pulled the green cowl low over his face, the white fur trimmings casting an oblong shadow over his bone-bleached face."This one hid from his shadow so no innocents would be harmed..." He spoke softly, unafraid of his own image. He turned to Aveum. "Allow this one to reintroduce himself... This one's name is Sessamaru..." He smiled under his black mask, used to filter the air for most assassins.

 

Aveum looked at sessamaru..

"youre.."Aveum stopped and smiled as he eliminated some shadows that came his way, his touch seemed to evaporate them

Aveum, just kept looking at him....you look like...that woman...she must be.."

Aveum stood there smiling

 

"Shadows are born of impure souls, who steal the outline of others. Thus, Shadows are born. It just so happened a female soul stole this one's outline..." He explained, turning back around, preparing for the attack. "The outline of a figure... A shadow..."

Messarasu glared at Sessamaru, lunging towards him with two, criss-crossed swipes.

Sessamaru thrusted the black schamshir into the scissor, hooking upwards. He ducked down, swept the Shadow's leg from beneath her. He sprang up, having the crystal schamshir shining brightly, swinging down upon the Shadow, who seemed to fade away.

The Shadow wailed loudly, thrusting two schamshirs in an "x" formation to block and blot out the crystal sword. Springing upwards, tossing the blade back, the Shadow began her skewering sword dance, spinning like a screw, blades dancing about her body. Daring, but effective for such a defense.

More Shadows appeared, striking at the warriors, all of them jumping high into the air, releasing obsidian darts and arrows, some daggers. They spun their defensive dance, but not as fluidly and effectively as the elite Shadow. They attack, nonetheless, diving into the ground, turning into black disks, others jumping high into the air. There were so many of them...

 

OOC:nice....

BIC:Aveum just looked at the fight, they where having and took a step back
"this is interesting" Aveum said as he smiled

 

OOC: Oh?

Sessamaru charged in, swiping his blades from bottom-to-top, forcing the spinning, skewering blades high and higher. Eventually, he spun to the left, feinted, then spun farther to the right as two blades came crashing down. Shadowbane and Lumia, alit with its enchanting light, cut deeply into the shadow, who flew away, spinning, by the force. The Shadow stuck the landing, her feet flawlessly touching the ground with great silence, her knees bent in a crouch, the blades flipped upside down as she cocked her arms back. She ran forward, swiping at Sessamaru, who parried the blows, but unable to find a defense. He backstepped, ducked beneath the simultaneous swing, and jutted an uppercut with the hilt of Lumia, making the Shadow leave the ground by the sudden force, her chin up. She fell farther away soon after.

A chant left her lips, a flaming wall between her, Sessamaru, and Aveum. The flames became black and purple, changing into hideous shapes. The wall, still aflame as the shapes moved forward, made of smoke. Cold, black flaming balls were launched as the smoking shapes moved forward.

 

Cina just watched, wondering whether he should get involved, due to his pacifist nature

 

Blade had finished killing his share of shadows that attacked him and watched

 

With quick accuracy, Sessamaru, parried the black flames to the side, extinguishing them immediately. He lunged forward, spinning within his own lightning-quick movement, destroying the smoke figures, blowing an opening through the flame wall, in which he landed, crouched, then lunged again, blades sliding atop on another, dancing about the air as he thrusted and swiped with each blade.

The Shadow dodged the black bladed thrust, but got hit against her chest by an incoherent light of Lumia, blasting her to the side. The Shadow arose after her fall, breathing heavily, turning to black vapour. "We shall... Meet again... Sessamaru..." she choked, disappearing completely, along with the remnants of Shadows.

Sessamaru turned around, his cowl flipping back, then the cloak fell apart, torn to ribbons. Wounds were visible across his figure, the tight black leather becoming alive in a strange black goop, dancing like snakes. He coughed heavily, blood escaping his obsidian lips as the mask retracted to the collar. "Rezuken... So powerful... It's his favourite..." He whispered, hacking up blood in between woords. He rose gently, sliding the two swords into their scabbards. "Two days... 'Tis Midnight." He turned around, the leather armour repairing itself. The cloak magically burned itself away.

 

OOC: okey can someone give me a recap please ^^

 

Ooc: Alright, from top to bottom... A Halo of Clouds are acting like a gateway to bring forth a fallen god, meanwhile, Uramasses (soon to be revealed as Sessamaru, the reincarnate of Gilgamesh, Banisher of Ragnarok) and Aveum hunt for Heroes to join in a quest to save the world from total destruction. The first to join the group, was Blade, then afterwards, the have Cina joining them (or about to join them). They were attacked by Shadows, impure souls who steal the outline of others to take shape. Sessamaru, long ago, had his outline (shadow) stolen by a power soul, thus reflecting to be him in female form. An invert reflection, to say the least. Sessamaru banished her, who then spoke to have vengeance. I think that's about it... I might've left out a detail or two, but you get the idea (and a bonus bit of info that I forgot to mention beforehand).

 

OOC:this is really good!!!, im gonna enjoy this one, but i kinda suspected that uramassess was sessamaru, i mean the name, inverted , pretty tricky sessamaru

BIC:Aveum looked at sessamaru,and his face

"you look like...gil..."and them stopped smiling looking at the others, and started inspecting him

"are you okay, you look hurt" Aveum said as he smiled.
