    STORY:

    27 April, 2273
    Ruins of Volodne
    Approaching Outpost, "Delta X"

    Private first class John Holland sighed and pulled out a cigar, lighting it with a thin blue lighter, since he lost his original lighter during his mission.

    His mission, to be exact, was to infiltrate the house of the former most wanted mercenary, Terra "The Assassin" Brinks, who was killed two days ago by a man by the name of Jack Swayde. Swayde was said to be both an incredible Black Ops. unit, as well as an incredible martial arts teacher, all his students said to have become famous war heroes or enemies: Terra Brinks, Jenna McGregor, Mark Grinko, Nikolai Petrovich...

    The house of Terra Brinks was empty, for the most part, save for one person: Terra's son, Montgomery Brinks. Montgomery seemed to take no notice to the fact that Special Forces had just kicked in the door to his house and were now asking him to clear the premises. In fact, he was reading a book that John later found out was about weaponry and military tactics. It took Montgomery approximately thirty seconds to finally comply with orders, and in that time he never once took his eyes off his book. Once thirty seconds had passed, Montgomery got up, walked past the Special Forces units, and then disappeared, along with a motorcycle that had been parked in front of the house.

    The rest of the mission had gone smoothly, save for the sudden disappearance of John's lighter.

    The truck stopped in front of the base, and the doors were opened, allowing John and his team to get out. Nobody outside expected what was inside...

    Inside, a massacre had taken place, and almost every person in there was dead, but none of them showed any signs that they had been attacked at all. Barely any traces of drug use, no bullet wounds to be seen, not even any trace of strangulation. There were no marks at all.

    But you couldn't write up ninety-seven deaths as heart attacks.

    John found this out as soon as he stepped into the building. His eyes got wider as he saw the many dead men and women along the walls and floor. One was even dead at his desk.

    John had the suspicious feeling something was behind him. He turned quickly and came face to face with the perpetrator:

    A man in a dark mask and a green military uniform was hanging upside-down from the overhang on the roof.

    "Who are you?! Why did you do this?!" John screamed pulling out his gun.

    The man jumped down and pulled off his mask. To John's utter horror, the man guilty of the Delta X Massacre was none other than...

    ...Montgomery Brinks.

    Montgomery turned around and replied, "I did this because Delta X is a threat to those I work for. As for my name... Call me Gold."

    John saw everything in a blur as suddenly Montgomery leapt forward, pulled out a knife, and sliced John's throat, killing him instantly, his corpse trembling as it slumped to the ground.

    Montgomery placed his knife in its place, then pulled his mask back on as he exited the building with an important file concerning Terra "Brinks".

    There were things in there he would know that he was not meant to know...

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    FACTIONS:
    Mercenary: Silent, stealthy, used to kill a certain person or perform a certain task against somebody. This could range from things as trivial as poisoning food to things as massive as planting a bomb on an enemy's most needed ration(like weapons or money). Mercenaries travel alone and work alone, unless in cooperation with a squad sent by the people who hired them. Mercenaries have access to all sorts of intelligence and weaponry, and are expertly trained to the limits of human capability, and sometimes beyond that. Mercenaries are almost ninjas in what they do, how they do it, and how silently they do it.
    Hitman: Trained to kill, hired to kill. Hitmen are usually in employment of rich people, mainly mafia bosses, terrorist group leaders, or drug lords, and have access to all weapons available to whoever they are employed to. Since these people are mainly criminals, hitmen tend to have access to small caliber arms, but not typically large caliber arms, unless they happen to be in employment of a particularly powerful drug lord, terrorist group leader, or mafia boss. Hitmen are not as well trained as mercenaries, and in any situation where they are sent to kill one, nine times out of ten, the attempt fails. Hitmen have only the intelligence given to them by their employers or gathered from people on the streets.
    Spy: Spies are used for many purposes: Assassinations, bugging computer/phone lines, gathering information, etc. Spies are trained better than both mercenaries and hitmen, and have access to more information to both, gathered by whatever means necessary. Spies have access only to silent weaponry, so as to not give themselves away. Spies are disguised with the most advanced technology, such as St. Binah's Stealth Soldier suit, which allows them to literally turn invisible to the human eye with the press of a button. Spies are sometimes genetically altered so that they can do their job better, such as St. Luna's G.H.O.S.T. Elite Tactical Operatives, or Volodne's SABOTEUR black ops. One spy, Jack Swayde, was altered to the point that he could turn invisible whenever he wanted without any button pressing, much like the G.H.O.S.T. - E.T.Os.
    SUMMARY:
    Okay, so it pretty much goes like this: You enter the dark world of a mercenary, a spy, or a hitman, and through trial and error you eventually end up meeting each other and working together to take out the people you work for, who themselves worked for one man in particular, who has nothing but world domination on his mind.
    This seems far-fetched, I know, but so are all my other stories and RPs.
    So, with that, have fun.
    And if you want to be an official part of the RP, put the word "Chu!!!" somewhere in your post.
