Yes, the 1906 quake was bad, I'm well aware of that, hun... However, considering I was not alive back then, the worst, for me as a personal experience, was the one of '94. And I am glad that I was not present during the 1906 earthquake.

For one thing I'm glad I don't remember the '94 earthquake.But I was still scared today because this was the first big earthquake I really did feel and experience.

...yes there are.

There was just a tornado maybe a month ago in my town. That's less than an hour from NYC.
Then there was that blizzard in 1888 and there was actually a hurricane I believe in 1999; I was at school when it happened. Hurricane Floyd. No one was expecting it to veer off course. And there was actually a minor earthquake in NW New York. Our Youth Group's retreat house has cracks in the wall from the earthquake.
