Losing Faith

Slender beams of moonlight enter the darkened church as i kneel always alone always lost frozen here waiting. Angelic forms wrought in panes of glas loom as dust dances in the air forming an image in my mind searing my exposed soul. Terror on my face i raise my head now crying out for this oblivious truth. I'm sorry, I just don't see how this resembles poetry at all and unless you revise it and sort it out I'm moving this thread to spam since your post is too short to belong in original work.

A poem usually contains some kind of structure; if you don't know what I mean refer to the other threads in this section.

EDIT: changed the title for you, since I'm pretty sure you didn't intend to mispell losing.

Thing is, you can't say it's just your kind of poetry. As a big picture, art is sort of like that, but poetry has defined boundaries and definitions and I'm sorry to say that what you just wrote was definitely not poetry.

As Juicy said, poems usually contain some kind of structure, be it rhythmic or rhyming or whatever. What you did was describe an event.
