What can I say? I loved Tales of the Abyss.

I feel your pain. It's tragic how many people have never played this great game.

 

I feel like killing myself for not knowing about it untill Two Years after it came out.

 

I played it all the time in eighth grade. That was around two years ago. I lost my copy, and got a new one for Christmas. Ah, the memories...

 

I'm on my Fourth Playthrough on Unknown and I can't stop playing it.

 

I'm on my second playthrough with this copy... but technically it would be my 4th too. I just have to do a couple of sidequests and get the desired costumes for Luke and Tear.

 

Symphonia is better.

 

I think I got every costume for everyone. Which ones are you looking for?

Also if you get all the costumes for Luke, Did you get a wierd blank spot and when you pick it, it's Jade? O_o

I only like Zelos and Kratos.

It's really a matter of opinion. I haven't played Symphonia, unfortunately, but I don't think any Tales game will beat Abyss for me, since it was my first. I thought it was even better than Vesperia.

I just need the Tactical Leader costume for Luke and the Monster Hunter title for Tear. I couldn't get them the last time I played because I kept wanting to fight Nebilim over and over again, and my game would freeze whenever I went into Kheterburg because the disc was scratched.

 

Lloyd is the perfect foil for all the chars and also the perfect way to brign out the best in all the other chars. Not only that but he reacts the way the player should in most situations. Without a character like Lloyd and his duel katanas the game would hit the floor. Personally, I love all the characters except for Regal and Presea. They all are characterized amazingly in such a way that even if the plot sucks (which it kind of does) you still are sucked in due to the great writing of the characters.

Sorry but no. Symphona is claimed to be one of the greatest RPGs ever made with good reasoning.

 

It's useless trying to convince me, since I haven't played Symphonia yet.

 

That's what makes people rage is opinion too. I've never played Symphonia and I didn't like any of the graphics although in the first game. I'm not saying Symphonia was bad, I just don't like it. Vesperia would tie up just because the Gameplay, Storyline(A Bit), and Rita <3

So you got your new copy when Keterburg kept freezing? I only fought Nebilim on Very Hard, Took me 4 hours because I was underleveled and I stupidly put Natalia in doing 1 damage while everyone else was doing around 50. Monster Collecter = Win. I only hate that you can't wear it without Monsters not being able to battle you unless it's a boss D:

Just because it's "Claimed" doesn't change people's minds. Some people prefer Abyss, Some Vesperia, Some Symphonia, Some Legendia.

 

Yup. I lost it anyway, so I had to get a new copy. Nebilim is my second favorite boss fight, so I didn't want ot get Lukes title and not be able tofight her again. What really pissed me off though was that I met all of the requirements for Monster Collector but couldn't get the title because I couldn't get into kheterburg.

 

Can you get to Keterburg now?

Wait, Getting Tactical Leader PREVENTS fighting her again? I am so friggin pissed off now. I wanted to fight her again ;_; My Second Favorite would be the Cameo battle followed up by the Triple God General Battle. What difficulty did you fight the Replica God Generals and the Replicantis? I was underleveled so I could only do hard ;~;

Music = Win.

 

I can, but I'm only at the beginning of my second playthrough. And yeah. To get luke's tactical leader outfit you have beat Nebilim and then go to Grand Chokmah or something. You can only fight her once. So if you save after the battle, that's it. The cameo battle is my fav. I love how the music changes during the battle is you fight on hard or above. I'm not sure what level I was. I didn't have a problem with them, so it was probably normal or hard. My only problem was running out of Gald, getting lost, and getting that guy hurt.

 

I see o.o Wait, If you don't take your titles with you to the next playthrough, will you be able to face her? You have to talk to Pere to get Tactical Leader after talking to The Mastero at Daath and Penoy. I guess I have to get all the titles again xD You mean Everlasting Fight? It changes? O_o So on Normal it's the same Battle Music from the first three matches? I think I usually ran around when I could go and fought Gold Smiles for Gald, I had no idea those birds give you a hell lot of gald though. Shiba, I ran to the water places when he was about half way dead. As much as annoying that dungeon was. It was hella awesome with both versions of the music in there.
