Internet connection help?

So, I'm in a jam here. >_>

My internet connection keeps getting disconnected every so often, and by that I mean like every 10-20 minutes. It's becoming insanely annoying. It started a couple days ago and hasn't stopped since then. I have no idea what's wrong.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? Any solutions? Thanks in advance.

 

1) Wireless or cord ?
2) Have you slapped your computer and called it an idiot
3) Is everything plugged in correctly?

 

1) Corded. But we have a wireless one too used for another computer.

Did you try starting up the computer with food in your lap? o:

Unplug your router, leave it like that for a minute or two, then replug it. :D

Tell me, what sites have you been on lately. Depending on what you say, it will determine whether or not it is a hardware problem, or a software problem

 

The same sites I've been going to for about a year now.

 

Hmmmmmmmm. Do you have any brothers or sisters? Any friends come over to your house lately?

 

No siblings that live with me. I have friends come over, but they don't go near the computer.

 

Have you tried resetting the router or just leave it off for 30 minutes or so?

Well unless you have been looking up any new sites that can possibly harm your computer, it is a hard ware problem, and so you should probably call up your internet to ask for assistance. If that don't work, then you have a virus
