Very clever audio editing. It's how Guitar Hero and Rock Band get the seperate audio tracks a lot of the time.

 

There are loads of programs that do it automatically but you could also pull it off with the right EQ, a high pass filter (or low pass depending), and lots of effort.

 

Surely you could just seperate the audio tracks and make one more prominent? *noob* :v

 

There's a free program called Audacity that can do it, though it's looked down on to use such methods.
