Ok, is this a good idea or not?


For my mom's birthday I am planning on my family going out for a meal, but then afterwards I am going to sing one of my mom's favourite songs.



I can't decide though if this is a good idea or not? If you were at a meal with someone and then they stood up and went and sang for you would you be embarrassed or what?

 

Well of course they'd be embarassed. But they'd enjoy it too.

But we are talking about your mom here, so anything could happen lol.

Wow...you better start practicing for it to be perfect then..that is unless you wanna get a table thrown at you.

But I'm almost certain she will like it. I hope you nail the song down. Mom's are very sentimental, so I think she'll like it (^_^)

 

You should make sure the restraunt is relatively empty, if it was full its likely to be more embaressing I guess

just try your best...she's your mom, and if I were her, I would be greatful that you loved me as much as to have the balls to go up infront of people and sing.

People say I have an alright voice, and I have sang in front of people before, just never FOR someone before.

You can do anything you want. Don't hold back because someone won't like your effort. So what? You did what you wanted, and it was for a good reason. I wouldn't care if I even got in the newspapers' headlines, if I did something I wanted to do for someone (but of course nothing bad).

 

I'm going to laugh so hard if she ends up vomiting all over you for this.

 

Well, I suppose she'll be more forgiving since it's one of her favourite songs.

This post was necessary because obliterating people's confidence is fun. And yeah. I know it's a fair point you make. But I've heard CtR's voice, and there's really not much for her to worry about, unless she's nervous.

 

Ehh. No. I know of her abilities. I've also heard her, but I also Know that she could get nervous, and that's never a good thing.

 

It depends on the restaurant. Don't sing it at the Rainforest Cafe, for example.
