"Oi!,you stay away from her now!"

 

"Dude! Chill. It's not like I'd actually do anything, it was a compliment." Ben responded, trying his hardest not to laugh.

 

"with this family...you never know..."Mickey muttered

 

"I'm not around here enough to make it worthwhile anyway." Ben said sneakily, once again looking shifty. This time earning a large smack across the back of his head from his older sister. "Hey!" He yelped, rubbing his head. "I'll bite you if you do that again Elle." He muttered.

"Alright you two knock it off! Ophelia stop hitting your brother and Benjamin you know that you don't even joke about biting people. Especially your sister!" Conni scolded as she grabbed the both of them by the ears. "Got that kiddies?" She snarled in a somehow sweet tone.

"Yes Mum." Ben replied as he squirmed to escape his mother's clutches.

"Yeah yeah!" Elle said as she managed to pull herself free, rubbing her ear slightly.

"Good. Just remember that if you act like children I am going to treat you like children, just like now. Alright?"

Both Elle and her brother nodded fervently.

 

"And i thought my mum was bad...."

 

"She's had to deal with, pretty much on her own, me; the hyper-active drama-queen, Elle; the tearaway teen, Ben; the grumpy werewolf and Jenie; the melodramatic scene starter." Casey observed. "Of course she's going to be 'bad'." He chuckled.

 

he grinned

 

"Anyway, you better go stand at the front youngster. Lake's going to be here soon, don't want to look disorganized."

 

"Right-O"he nodded walking to the front

 

"And you owe me three Galleons still you know." Casey called up to his son.

The journey in the car to the stately manor house that they'd organised the wedding to take place at was almost over for Nate and his passengers. On the way there they'd nearly hit one person, two cars and ran over a pigeon. All in all a somewhat eventful trip, but luckily it hadn't ended in complete disaster. He drove up the carefully manicured gravel drive way and pulled to a stop to let the bride and her matron-of-honer to get out of the old fashioned car.

Lake's heart was now racing at an even faster speed then usual, the months of planning and waiting were finally over. This was it, it'd finally sunk in that today was the day. In a couple of hours she'd no longer be 'Lake River'; She'd be 'Lake Malfoy'. It was an amazing thought.

 

Maddie smiled at her soon to be sister in law,hearing her heart pick up in speed"ready for this?"

 

"I feel like I have been for years." Lake said, smiling brightly.

Nate slid off of his seat and walked around to the side that Maddie was sat on and opened the car door. "If you haven't guessed it's time." He chuckled.

 

"Right-O"she said stepping out the car

 

Lake carefully slid over the soft leather once again and pulled herself from the car, holding her skirt up so she didn't trip over it and tear it or humiliate herself. She breathed in deeply and grinned. "You lead the way."

Nate shut the door behind them and headed off towards where everyone else was, taking a short cut and slipping in unnoticed.

Lake followed after her, smoothing her dress down as they walked. She was determined to look as perfect as humanly, or rather werewolf-ly, possible.

"Lake's here now you guys. So I hope you're all ready." Nate piped up from his seat near the back of the rows of patio chairs.

 

"we were ready just in time then.."Lyra muttered

 

"Only just." Nate chuckled as he settled back down. Just in time for the bridal wedding march to begin.

"Here we go." Casey said, looking backwards too see Lake walking down the aisle.

Lake was slowly making her way up between the rows of seats, a rosy pink blush spreading across her cheeks at how so many people were looking at her and watching her every move. Her ringlets were bouncing delicately with each step and her long, exquisite wedding dress was trailing out behind her on the cream carpet that outlined her path towards marriage. She had delicate fingers wrapped around a bouquet of white roses and a smile on her perfect pink lips as she looked up towards her soon to be husband.
