I'm sure civilizations will fall and rise etc, but humanity may last a while itself, even if it has to rebuild into new things. I do not think we will last 'forever' but I don't see the doom of mankind really as a total even if I do see that the downfall of cultures will happen and societies will change or be dismembered. About the only way to secure humanity would die out is for the nukes to go off in droves and no one really -wants- to do that, or we do something else that can cripple our atmosphere and world environment so poorly life cannot be sustained.

There will be a moment where God will need to redo all of the evets that have been hapening, but first he needs to destroy all of the cause of this, the humans. We with our machinery and nature destructing have putten our world into a state that will not last for a long time, I mean, the poles are melting, the Sahara's powder is reaching us making us VERY sick and when the pole's sweet water fuses with the ocean's salty water it will created a disbalance in the nature of fish and destroy them all! Leaving no more fishes for dinner also meat! What have we done just to discover and be rich!

Humanity will eventually end. Of course we can all hope it won't be in our lifetime, but who knows? If you look at the way we are polluting the Earth, and global warming, the end of humanity may be closer than we think. Maybe it will exist for 200 years more and such, and maybe it will die out. I agree with Misty about us blowing ourselves up. There are just so many weapons of mass destruction nowadays that any minute someone could decide to nuke America or any other country. No matter what, humanity will die out, but maybe another species will evolve.

The way I see it, man has been making mistakes and destroying himself since we were first born into this world many years ago.

Either we will continue on this way OR It will all build up until something dramatic happens and we all meet our end. Either way, it probably won't happen until years and years from now.

I try not to worry about our fate too much. It depresses me, and the fact that I can't do much to change it because no matter who I try to sway or warn there is no guarantee that people will change their ways.

We are slowly destroying ourselves and the world we live in, and eventually our world will be somehow blown apart in a cataclysmic destruction.
