Don't Leave

"I don't know, but i'm feeling too dizzy to fight," she said. She took a round object out of her pocket....
"Do you think you can get away from the meadow?" she asked, looking at the object.

 

"I'm not leaving you here." he said.

 

"listen, i won't die, but you can if this bomb explodes.... I need you to do this one favor for me. I'll be okay," she promised.

 

"How can I be sure that you will?" he asked, worried.

 

"I've been in a bomb explosion before three hundred years ago... And two hundred years ago.. Please... just do this, i don't want you killed," she said.

 

"Can you do one thing for me?" he asked.

 

"If you do this for me, I will do anything for you," she said.

 

"Will you give me another kiss before I leave you?" he asked.

 

She took another deep breath and nodded. She got close to him and slowly kissed him.

 

He kissed her back.

 

She felt herself torn away as one of the guards pulled her off and threw her to the ground. SHe groaned and stood up.
"Bobby, get out now!" she shouted.

 

"Right!" he said, cutting though the guards and leaving the meadow. He looked back.

 

Kimmy sighed and got in the middle of the field.. She looked making sure the distance was acurate. She pulled the trigger on the bomb and threw it up in the air. She got down and put her hands over her head crouching. When it hit the ground it exploded tremendously with a blinding light.

 

Bobby was temporarily blinded by the light. When it was gone he made his way back to the meadow, afraid he might find Kimberly in pieces.

 

Kimberly laid slightly in the middle of the field, in constant pain. She tried to move, but found it difficult, so she just stayed limp as she tried to breath slightly. She shuddered a few times which caused her more pain. She couldn't see anything, so she knew her eyes were closed. She knew she wasn't conscious, but she tried to wake back up.

 

Bobby ran over to her and rolled her on her back. "Are you alright?" he asked, worried about her.

 

Kimmy didn't say anything. She felt herself rolled though. That showed her she stil had feeling in her.
"Yeah," she said softly.

 

"That was one heck of a blast. I'm surprised you're still in one piece." he said.

 

Heh...i...told you.. I could do it," she said laughing somewhat. She felt her shoulder relax and she couldn't feel anything else move inside her. She had fallen asleep and was unable to wake back up.

 

He smiled and cried tears of relief. He sat down beside her.
