Digimon: Virus Outbreak

Summary
It has been 3 years since the Diaboromon incident. Many of those who have seen the incident, either on the internet or in reality, have been given a digivice and a partner digimon by the digital world. It seems the world has sensed the constant growth of such evil virus digimon. Now, there are many digimon tamers through out the world.

Many digimon have been appearing all over the world through the access of computers, industries, construction sites, and etc.. Many have seen them and many refuse to believe it. Of course, the digimon tamers around the globe have been keeping the sprouting digimon in check. The question is.....why is there a constant growth of wild digimon on the earth? What has caused these digimon to go berserk?

ooc; I highly advise against it. I say that we start now, but while rping, we can always still give people the chance to join. I mean, waiting a day isn't exsactly the best idea. I mean, in my oppinion, threads that don't get started within a certain amount of time are destined to die, and I am quite certain that 2 days exceeds the limit of how long we should be waiting for people to join.

Prologue

OOC: Very Persuasive. xD Alright. Let's start get this Rp start!! We're gonna do a quick Prologue. Just make it in one post; I suggest you make it at least a few paragraphs. OH, don' worry about he time in my post. Our prologues don' have to happen at the exact ime or anything.

Friday 9:00 p.m.
In the restless city of New York, the moon shines bright in the evening sky. “Eiki! Time for bed!” a voice said. “Alright mom!” another voice said. It was exactly 9:00 p.m. The majority of the people were rather going to sleep, asleep, or were working extra hours.

“Hmmm….. Maybe I can use the computer while mom is asleep.” a young voice muttered.

A woman, in her early 30’s, walked into a room that appeared to belong to a young boy.

“Ready for bed?” she asked the child.

“Yep!” the child answered.

“You excited about tomorrow?” she asked the boy as she tucked him in.

“Of course, mom.” He replied.

He got into a comfortable position as his mom sat by the edge of his bed.

“Mom?”

“Yes honey?”

“At what time are my friends coming over?” he asked.

She looked up in thought and then replied.

“I believe they’re coming over at 12:00.”

“In the morning!?” he exclaimed.

“No silly. In the afternoon.” She corrected.

She leaned over to him and kissed him on the forehead.

“Goodnight. Don't wake me up so early tomorrow. ” She said as she walked shutting the lights off in the process.

Eiki stayed in his comfortable position until he heard the door of her room close shut. He immediately jumped out of his bed, gently closed his door, and turned on his computer.

“Alright, now I can get in a few level ups on my character so I can show off tomorrow!” he whispered in an excited tone.

The monitor came to life and his world transformed into a mystical forest full of the unknown. It was going to be a long night.

Saturday 12:19 A.M.

After three hours of playing, his character had gone up eight levels. He felt proud of himself for having had leveled up his character this much. Of course, there was a price to pay. He’d lost three hours of sleep. His now eight year old body was beginning to feel drained.

“Awesome. I’ve gone up ten levels! Heh…eight levels. That’s how old I am now.” he muttered with a silent yawn.

His eyes were sore from looking at the screen for such a long time, especially when the monitor was the only source of light. Eiki gently settled his controller on the desk and slide of the large chair. He had made sure to turn off the computer before getting off the chair. The screen shut off and the pc’s motor slowly came to a halt.

Eiki rubbed his eyes in an attempt to keep awake long enough to reach his bed. He climbed his bed and tucked himself under the warmth of the blankets. His field of vision became dark and his mind took him to a bizarre world.

4:50 A.M.

The sound of rain could be heard as each drop made contact with the metal bars of his balcony. Then, the sound of thunder woke Eiki up. Being half asleep, he figured the thunder were just his kidneys warning him to go to the bathroom before continuing his sleep. He slide off his bed and slowly made his way to the toilet. After, he came out of the bathroom, turning off the lights in the process, while the sound of the flushing toilet some how made his kidneys feel a lot better.

As he entered his dark room, he noticed the monitor was on. It was emitting a bright light. Little Eiki approached his seemingly large chair. He climbed on to it, still half asleep, and winced as the bright light touched his face. All of a sudden the screen inverted and a digi-egg emerged from void. It came closer and closer until it popped out of the screen and landed on his little arms. The weight was too much to bear. Trying to sustain the weight, he gently lowered himself to the floor and settled the egg on his lap.

“Wow. What is this?” he asked himself in his childish voice.

He thought about it for a while. Then, as a result, he dozed off into a deep sleep.

7:01 A.M.

The morning rays of the sun penetrated the French door leading to the balcony of his apartment. The warmth had little effect on the eight year old boy. He just slept there like a baby. Of course, his body at the same time was incubating the egg his chest was on top of. All of a sudden the egg shook. It slowly began to crack. The abrupt movement of the egg woke little Eiki up. He lifted his head; eyes half opened, and slowly got off the egg. He rubbed his sleepy eyes awake. Staring down at the shaking egg, Eiki’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Wha-what’s happening?”

The egg hatched. In its place, was a light blue creature? It looked up at him and instinctively skated across the room under his desk. Eiki just stared at its previous spot. The egg shells were slowly disintegrating into nothing.

“What in the world….are you?” he muttered as he looked over at the blue puffball like digimon.

The creature shivered in fear. Eiki noticed this and took a small step back.

“It’s afraid of me as I’m with him.” he thought.

The creature pushed itself against the wall as if trying to penetrate it to gain more distance from Eiki. Eiki gulped and slowly approached the little guy. He crouched and extended his right hand towards it. Then, in self defense, the creature began to blow bubbles at him. Surprised, Eiki fell backwards on his rear end. He winced a bit and then looked at it. The creature gave a high pitched growl. Then, it began to whimper.

Eiki scowled and then noticed the creatures’ expression. It was in some sort of pain. That’s when it hit him. It wasn’t growling at him. It was its stomach.

“You’re hungry?” he asked.

The creature looked up at him.

“Stay right there. I’ll get an apple.” He told it.

Eiki got up and quickly tipped toed his way to the kitchen where he pulled a chair over to the counter. On top of the counter was a fruit basket. He climbed it and leaned over the counter to grab an apple. For any adult or tall enough person, it would easy. But for this little guy, it was like a mission. After obtaining the apple, he jumped of the chair and fell forward in the process of landing.

“Owww….” He muttered as he slowly got up and shook off the pain.

He approached his room in order to find it full of bubbles. The amount of bubbles made it look like it was a sea of bubbles. Eiki slowly walked inside. The little puffball creature was jumping up and down in the middle of his room. It stopped as it noticed Eiki enter with an apple in hand. It smiled happily and skated towards him. It looked up at him waiting intently.

“Umm….ok….here ya go...” he said stunned by the exorbitant amount of bubbles.

He lowered his right hand and immediately it opened its mouth. It ate the apple along with Eiki’s hand. Eiki’s eyes grew in horror. He instinctively let out a small cry.
“AH! Let go of my hand!” he cried as he waved his arm around in hope that the creature might let go.

Finally, after thirty seconds of struggle, the creature slide out of his hand and landed on his bed. It must have been comfortable because it stayed there.

“Oh, no you don’t! That’s my bed!” Eiki shouted.

The creatures’ stomach growled again.

He stopped about a foot away from his bed.

“You’re hungry? I just fed you!”

The violette puffball jumped out of the bed and skated across his room heading towards the door. Eiki followed it towards the kitchen, where the puffball was mounted on the kitchen counter. It sniffed the fruit basket and immediately began to consume the various fruits. The boy just stared in disbelief. A small creature had just eaten the entire gamut of fruits. The sight was so unbelievable that it made his jaw drop.

The little creature hopped off the counter, skated past his legs, and entered his room. Eiki peered through the corner of the door frame to find another creature on his bed. This time it had two little arms, two little legs, and a tail. It now had a irregular sized head and four legs; a small tail being visible.

“What the- Where’d the other one go?” he asked.

The creature was just lying on his bed peacefully. It was resting. That was when the thought hit him. It was the same creature! He couldn’t explain it himself, but somehow the creature had grown. Eiki looked down in hard thought. He then looked up at it and approached it. He extended his right hand over to it and gently petted it, careful not to disturb its sleep.

He then smiled in joy. Finally, after so much wish making he had gotten his own pet.

“This is the best birthday present ever!” he muttered to himself excitedly.

 

Haru was sitting on the step of his building staring at the sky wondering about new life. His father yelled," Haru get into the house! it is cold outside!. Haru sighed in great frustration as he got up and walked into the house only to see dinner on the table.

Haru said," Dad im not hungry so im gonna go to bed early".

Haru's father said," Alright Haru."

Haru started to run up the stairs and into the room of his bed room thinking that he tricked his father so he can go on the computer since he was banned from the computer. He rubbed his hands together as he switched on the computer but nothing appeared on the but 10010101 numbers so Haru started to encrypt the code on his computer but it didn't work. He gave up and went to bed upset.

As he was sleeping the computer started to glow a bright color of green and blue. The computer started to make a high pitch winding noise but Haru slept through that and then... A BEAM OF ENERGY! shot out of the computer making 2 digieggs of a bizarre design they were wobbling rapidly and then POP! they hatched revealing a small green and blue creature.

Haru woke up from his sleep only to see 2 creatures on his leg hopping up and down. He started to rub his eyes to see if his mind was playing tricks on him BUT!! THEY WERN'T!. Haru rolled off of the bed and fell onto the ground scared out of his pants!. He gripped the computer desk and got up slowly. He saw one of them making a big pink poop on his bed and he stared at the blue creature with a blank look. He covered the 2 creatures wondering," Oh my god!! what is pops gonna say if he saw them!??! ok.. im gonna have to take care of them!".

Haru sat at his computer staring at the 2 creatures playing with each other only to see them glowing a bright white color. Haru yelled," OH MY GOD THEY ARE GONNA EXPLODE!!!". They both started to grow and their body started to mold until one of them was like a worm and the other one was tall and had claws. When the white light dimmed the green creature had grown into a worm that was green and the other one grew into a blue minature dragon except with legs. He started at them in awe as he wondered what were they.

 

ooc: nice prologue. very descriptive, and all that stuff, lol. Well then, nice to know that this digimon thread does not have people to slow to read long posts ^_^

"Ummmm, daddy, do you have to go out tonight?" Matt asked, looking up at his father. He was only 8 years old at the time.

"Quit your dam complaining. I'll be back by 9, so till then, just play your stupid games, or whatever you do" matt's father said, walking out the door, and shutting it tight.

A tear appeared in Matt's eyes, though he shook it off, as he began to walk over to the computer. It was the only thing that he ever did, play his games. He had no friends in real life due to his immensive shyness, but he made loads of friends on his online game. He had a nack for it, a talent for conquering others, defeating them one after anouther, and claiming the valuables that his opponent players owned. He loved it, being able to make a collection of the different valuables. Of course, whenever he won, he was sure to replace what was earned with some of his other items and weapons, because the simple fact that these people tried as hard as he did to get these different items, meant to him that they shouldn't leave empty handed. Matt stayed on the computer.

Saturday 9:00 pm

Matt looked at the door, still waiting for his fathers return, though no sign of him. He sighed. "I hope he's ok" he mumbled, as he went back to his game.

Sunday, 12:56 am

Matt just started to turn off the computer, as suddenly, the door burst opened. "YOU LITTLE BRAT. GET YOUR @$$ OVER HERE!" matt's father yelled, beer bottle in hand, eyes dimmed. Matt then walked over to his father.

"You little brat. I'm sick of you you maggot. You have no friends at school, and your grades suck. And now, I'm going to give you the beating that I should've given you a long time ago" his father yelled, as he threw the beer bottle at Matt, though matt ran to the side. His eyes darted, as he spotted his fathers laptop, and made a run for it, grabbing the laptop, then turned towards the door, though only to get punched in the face by his fathers face. He fell to the ground, blood from his mouth and nose, though he got up, and made a run for it, running right between his fathers legs, as his father tried to grab him, only to fall to the ground, drunk. Matt then ran out of the room, tripping for a moment, but getting right back up, running out onto the streets, as a storm brewed, lightning striking. He ran into an allyway, where he thought he might be safe, though echoing was his fathers voice, yelling "GET BACK TO THIS HOUSE RIGHT NOW YOU FILTH!", and when hearing that, Matt got back on his feet, and ran for it.

Monday 12 am

A police car came roaming by the ally way, lights flashing, though passing by. Matt took that moment to get away, as he sat behind a garbage can, and starting up his fathers lap top. He started playing his game, his only scource of entertainment in this cruel world that he was now living in. From the ally way though, 2 tall hispanics, along with one white guy approached him. "Well looky here" the white guy said, picking up Matt's lap top. "Hey, give that back" matt said, standing up to get it back, only to see it chucked into a puddle, and it then short circited. "Wow, it feels just like high school." the white guy said as he picked up the kid by the shirt, shoving him up against the wall. "Now, lets see what you got" the white guy said, as he turned Matt upside down, and began to shake him, as various things fell out of his pockets, though nothing of use. "This kid aint worth nothen" the white guy said, dropping matt, as he started to walk away, followed by the two hispanics.

Matt simply layed on the ground, crying. Suddenly though, the screen on the lap top turned on, and a strange symbol appeared in the screen. Out of the screen, what appeared to be a ray of light came out, and from it, 2 eggs came floating out. One egg a dark green, with a strange symbol on it, the other egg grey, with anouther strange symbol on it. His eyes widend when he saw these eggs, and he quickly huddled over to them, grabbing them. He was not really able to comprehend what might be going on at the moment, but he knew that it definatly was something that no one else had, and as stated before, he enjoyed collecting the rare novalties that no one else had. And so he took the eggs, and huddled near the garbage can, to cry. Before he went off to sleep, he muttered in his sleep "I'll get them. I'll get every last one of them", anger and hatred in his voice.

ooc: -_- Its short and doesn't make any sense, but it will have to do.

An eleven-year old Skyler sighed in relief as she closed her textbook. She was done with her homework for the evening, but it had taken her longer than she had anticipated. Sklyer glanced out the window and noted the setting sun against the red sky. There's barely enough time to do anything, she thought in disappointment.

Seeing nothing better to do, she pulled a box out from under her desk. In it was the laptop she had spent eons saving up for, and now was the time to boot it up. As soon as it was out of its box, she plugged in the machine so it would charge at the same time, then booted it on. It instantly whirred to life, and instead of the expected desktop there was a blue screen with a line of white text. She read the text to find out what the problem was.

"Too much time on your hands?" she read aloud. What kind of joke was this? Did someone manage to hack into her computer already? No, she typed back, I don't have enough time, so I would appreciate if you would stop wasting it by messing up my computer, whoever you are.
A few seconds later, another line of text appeared. Are you sure? If you're busy now, just think how much less time you'll have after I give it to you.

You're not making any sense, she angrily typed back. Just give it back, she added, meaning that she wanted to use her laptop.

For a full minute there wasn't an answer, but finally a reply came in. Okay, don't say I didn't warn you. Instead, the screen turned a blinding white. Startled, she held up her hand to shield her eyes and fell out of the chair. There was a loud thunk as something fell on top of her, and she sat upright to see what it was. Sitting in her lap and looking at her with an expectant expression, was a little white creature with a serpentine body.

"Are you going to say something?" it asked, "or are you going to admire me all day?"

"Y-you..." she stammered. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. "You came out of my computer?"

It nodded. "Aren't you a clever one. Yeah, I did. And since it was your computer, I guess that means I'm sticking with you now."

"Okay," Skyler replied, tentatively touching the top of its head. "I guess that makes sense... sort of."

 

ooc: he aint crazy, he's just dark. He's sorta like a jelly donut. His outside is unescasary, and does not taste very good, but his inside is truely delicious (in other words, he is sorta evil, but on the inside, he's good. you'll see. oh dam, I could really go for a jelly donut right now)
