"Alright." he said, relieved. He waited for her to leave before crawling in the bed next to Leah and cuddling up to her.

 

The nurse placed a cold, damp towel on Leah's forehead to help the fever and then she left.

Leah breathed steadily as she rested, peacefully.

 

He kissed her cheek and closed his eyes.

 

Leah's eyes gently fluttered open and she groaned softly, looking around. She smiled, seeing George laying next to her. She saw that there was a cold rag on her head and she took it off. Am I sick...? She wondered and gently cuddled closer to George.

 

He felt her cuddle closer and opened his eyes. "You're awake!" he said, happy. He hugged her.

 

Leah smiled and returned the hug. "Yeah... Not sure exactly what happened..." She said. "Am I sick?"

 

"You passed out." he said. "The nurse said that you have a slight fever and that you are exausted."

 

"Really?" Leah said. "I don't feel exhausted..." She tried to sit up but when she did, it felt like the room was spinning, so she laid back down. "On second thought, scratch that..." She said and giggled softly.

 

He chuckled a little and held her close.

 

Leah snuggled as close to him as she could, feeling safe and protected. She smiled and closed her eyes, relaxing. She enjoyed being with him.

 

He kissed her forehead and said "Now get some rest." He closed his eyes as well.

 

Leah giggled. "What's the point of spending time together if we're both always sleeping?" She asked, grinning. She then yawned.

 

"Well, I'd rather you be wide awake than exausted." he said. "Besides, we have plenty of time to spend together."

 

"That's true..." Leah said and nuzzled him, softly, smiling.

 

He smiled and held her tightly, rubbing his cheed against hers.

 

Leah relaxed and closed her eyes, resting against him. "I love you," She said and smiled.

 

"I love you too." he said, smiling.

Leah smiled and cuddled up to him, starting to fall asleep.

 

George cuddled her back and also started falling asleep.
