Tell me, why are threads like this closed?

Have the staff ever provided a valid reason other then "BUT IT LOOKS WEIRD. D:" ?

I thought something was eating up my screen. Freaked me out.

 

I've gotten complaints about it crashing people's browsers, sorry guys.

Apparently I can't give you an example like the original title was.

 

Threads where the title and/or posts have walls of these characters that mess with the boundaries of the posts and cause people's browsers to bug out.

 

You mean that gyuy's with the weird name threaD? I don't see it now so it got deleted... is it the one you're talking about?
