Seth soon found himself fast asleep when he didn't intend to fall asleep. In a cold ally most wouldn't think sleep would be easy to come by, but for Seth it was all too natural. Lately he had found a warm place to sleep in brothels after having fun with some girl, but that wasn't always the case, for most of his life it wasn't the case and he resorted to sleeping in allies, and abandoned buildings. What other choice did he have? So in an ally beside a tavern Seth found his rest, not intentionally but rest none the less. Slowly Tatiana stopped moving around as much, the grip on her blankets loosened. The girl slept still, though her body was still curled up slightly. It was how she always slept but it almost seemed like it was in such a way to protect herself, from the scary world that awaited her upon awakening. Although for now she slept in a deep slumber, her dreams filled with happy times she had with her mother, and a future that she dreamed to have, one that she didn't have to sell her body for the ability to eat. "I see." Terra responded thoughtfully to Zephyr's answer. "Are jobs in short demand now?" Terra wondered, not understanding why this young man came to her instead of just getting a job that could pay him so he could by food. "I am sorry I am not very familiar with the stated of things outside this orphanage, I don't really have time to worry about it." Terra explained herself. It wasn't a good excuse but it was fair enough. After all she looked after 14 children on her own, many of them having emotional trauma due to the circumstances around them becoming orphans and finding their way here. It was a handful at the best of times, at the worst she could barely keep her own mind much less think of the outside world.
As the noise quieted down Thea uncurled herself as she started to settle back into her bed. She was scared still, but she couldn't keep herself awake any longer. Her face was pail from the exhaustion and her skin cold. She had not had any time to rest and regain some of her magic after entering the room due to the noise and shaking. If the guild was under attack there was nothing she could do to help. Everyone here would die, just as her parents did, but perhaps she would go with them this time. Perhaps that was for the best. If the guild was attacked and everyone died what did she have left? She could find Alastor but he might hate her for having stayed there. Besides that if she survived an attack then she would just be some orphan with no where to go, destined to die in the street. She would go from nobility to nothing at all. Though despite these thoughts Thea soon fell asleep once more, it was a well needed sleep. When Caliborn and Evanora stepped in to finish dealing with Mikasa, Thomas stumbled back. His vision was blurry and he didn't feel well. Thomas couldn't stop himself from puking before he fell back hitting his head on the floor with a loud thunk. It seemed that the liquor in his system finally got the better of him and he passed out, but not before a rush of adrenaline kept him fighting, which would probably make things much worse in the morning. The boy's head would sure hurt now, if not from the hang over, from the possible concussion that he just received when passing out. And there was always the possibility of alcohol poisoning from the sear amount he drank in order to keep up with Edric. But for now the boy slept peacefully, not knowing what was waiting for him in the morrow. "Oh... I am sorry to hear that." Silvia said in response to Conrad's explanation. She didn't really want to talk or think about her mother or how she pretty much disowned her for coming here, so instead Silvia tried to change the subject. She looked up at Conrad's face and the marks left from a fight or something. "Does it hurt?" She asked softly. If it did she would make a tonic to help with pain, if not, she figured it was too late to fix the marks left. If it was freshly happened Silvia was confident that she could heal without leaving scars but after a while that wouldn't be possible.

Thomas uses fire "I myself haven't been here for long." Silvia replied. "I arrived with all the other new people that joined at the same time." Silvia explained. "Um... What brings you two here?" She asked Tessa and Conrad, clearly nervous and not sure what to say in conversation. It was rare for Silvia to rarely have to have a conversation, and it was showing.
Tatiana barely moved, much less fight back when Veceslav went to pick her up to carry her. Usually she would pretest that she could walk on her own and find her own way to the bed created for her, but right now that seemed of less of a possibility. Though it was almost nice to have someone look after her for once, instead of her having to take care of everyone else. When the young woman was placed down on her bed she immediately curled herself up and gripped the blankets tight around her. It seemed like only seconds before she had fallen into a deep sleep. This sleep however was not peaceful, instead restless. She was groaning and moving as pieces of memories from the torture and hallucinations filled her sleeping mind, reminding her of what she wished to forget. In her dreams she was alone and scared, Veera wasn't there to help her. And yet despite the horror in her dreams she did not wake up from it. Her body was too tired for her to wake up easily. For now the young woman would sleep, oblivious to whatever else may happen around her. Aaron road behind Veera on their long, quiet journey. He was happy to have a horse this time. Last time he left it was on foot and he didn't get far before running into Olivia. Now they could cover more ground at once, and that was beyond helpful. In the silence Aaron focused on honing his anger. The anger at himself for leaving his sister to become a witcher. The anger at the man who had hurt his sister. The anger of getting himself in trouble with Veceslav. All of that he honed down to become a weapon in his favour. Instead of letting it completely cloud his judgment he would use it to make every swing he took with his sword that much harder. The power behind each sign that much greater. He would use it to sharpen his mind that much more. In the end it would be the greatest weapon towards killing the man that hurt his sister.
Tatiana mentally cringed at all the horrible things that Veceslav kept saying about Evander. She liked the man despite his faults, and he saved her life, now he was being pushed out and forced to leave. There was nothing she, a weak and tired human could do about it either. She just hoped that Evander would remember her offer later when she was better. She needed to repay him somehow for everything he had done for her to help. When they eventually reached the next room they were headed for, the man who had came in late began to speak and the way he referred to her bothered her somewhat. "Tiana... call me Tiana, not this woman. Please." Tiana requested, not sounding angry at all, but even if she was angry she didn't think she could portray that easily anyways. Having nothing else to say to the man on the subject she allowed Veceslav to guild her to a chair while he ordered the other man around. Tatiana felt more than a little bad that these people felt the need to take care of her because she had that potion. It was her mess to deal with and she had no payment to offer, though she didn't know if they understood that. Given the fact she had been paying for Aaron's living expenses, it could seem like she had money to spare, when the reality was, she was struggling to live on the money she had less, and as Aaron had noticed, she had not been eating properly. She had to stay awake a little longer, just a little longer. They were going to find her a place to rest, then she wouldn't have to force herself to stay awake any longer. She was tired, that was for sure, ready for the promised rest, though her mind was a little less so. Images and dreams haunted the back of her mind making the idea of sleeping a bit more scary. However not resting due to this fear would be even worse for her, so she would do it, if for no other reason than she didn't know how much longer she could keep her eyes open. Annabelle wasn't smart enough to realize when she was running she needed to cover her tracks. On top of that she quickly found herself lost, not sure where she was or which direction to go next. The young girl stopped where she was for a moment. Perhaps trying to run away wasn't the best idea. Or perhaps if she kept running she would find someone, anyone that was not Yana. Someone who could protect her. The girl chose a direction at random and started to nervously walk that way. She knew that she could protect herself if needed with her magic, but that didn't make things much better. The girl clutched her bunny tight to her chest as she walked once more, hoping Yana hadn't returned to their camp yet. A few minutes after Terra had left Zephyr with everyone else, Terra came back out of the kitchen with a small plate of bread and vegetables. "I am sorry it isn't much. It is all I have left for today." Terra explained as she placed the plate in front of Zephyr. She couldn't afford much in the way of groceries but she always went out early in the morning, bought what she needed for that day and only for that day, and fed the kids the best she could. However as the numbers grew it was getting a little more difficult, but she would find a way to get the money. Terra pulled up a chair to the end of the table to sit with the kids as they ate, her own stomach growled but she ignored it as she turned to speak to Zephyr and Willow/Sarah. "So Sarah, Zephyr, where do you guys come from and how did you find my orphanage?" Terra asked curiously. She still needed to figure out if Sarah was in danger of something, but that could wait until all the other children where not around. She didn't want to scare them after all.
Well there were plenty willing to help but few that actually said what they were going to do to help prepare for the journey. "Tessa, you and Gale can go to the kitchen, ask Adelina to prepare rations for tonight, and give her a hand if needed. Akari, go back to our weaponry and gather any gear we might need. Griffin, you can find Karen and bring her to me to speak with. And Hunter I need to have a word with you." With that he dismissed everyone around him to go do their independent jobs. He then turned to Hunter, with an angry glare. "I think you need to rethink your reasons for doing this mission. And on top of that if you ever get near my daughter I will rip your throat out." The king snarled, baring his teeth at the man, showing his more primal side that all fae had, the instincts seen in many animals. "Further more you raided out weaponry using our last grenade just to make an entrance. Do you wish to be stuck with dish duty for the next month, every meal, collect and clean everyone's dishes and cleaning all the pots and such from cooking. You will be doing that alone, with no help. I hope you enjoy the dishes." The king told Hunter before dismissing him too with a wave. The mission wouldn't start for another few hours, for now it was just preparation. Flame thought through Kala's words. The idea that Kala could die in service of her bothered her. On top of that her father would be going and with their heightened senses it would be hard to hide that she was also there. Plus if something went terribly wrong, then the king and only heir were captured and or killed what would happen to Kaynta? Flame started to get a little anxious over the idea of leaving their city without a leader. However she then thought about Drake and Veera. She couldn't just sit here when they were in trouble. "I don't know... the humans recognize me... or my mother in me that is. They could pick out I am a fae based on how similar I look to her." Flame stated. "It is dangerous and I don't want to lose you... but I don't want to lose Drake either." Flame kept talking trying to work out her own mind. "If we do, go through with this, and I won't say we are yet, but if we do then you will have to do me a favour. Help my dye my hair black. Just something to make me slightly less recognizable." She told Kala. She still wasn't sure if she fully wanted to go. She would have to skip around her father trying to hide from him. She would have to go in with only one other to try not to get killed and rescue her two friends, and hope that both her and her father didn't die in the process. It was a big risk and if anything went wrong then they were really in trouble, the entire city was.
In the familiar loneliness of the ally Seth sat and started to think through his life so far. He had come to really enjoy his life, to him it was fun. The only thing about was, living stopped mattering. If he died he didn't care, he had nothing to live for anyways. Perhaps it would be better for him just to give himself up now, quell the witchers anger. Or he could just go back to the life that he was living, and if he died, he died. Or his last option was he stayed here and took up Bryce's offer. He finds a life with other dopplers like him. The entire idea of that one sounded strange to him and unreachable. Bryce had offered it, but how long before they realized that he wasn't worth the trouble? Perhaps he should just leave now, while no one else was around, or go back to that bar and have a couple more drinks. In the end Seth didn't feel like getting up from the cold damp ground and remained sitting there, moving his hat over his face slightly as he leaned his head back and shut his eyes. So this was it, no turning back now. He knew this decision was made in haste and anger, he just hoped he wouldn't regret it later. More over, he was just leaving his sister here, and though he trusted the people here, she was not fit for a setting like this. He almost didn't mount his horse, but it was too late to turn back now, he made up his mind. Aaron quickly hopped on his horse, spurring it forward to follow Veera's. "Oxenfurt huh? I heard it is nice this time of year, never been myself." Aaron said in a casual tone trying to break the tension he could feel deep within him. With their path relatively clear thanks to Veera's explanation Aaron took one last glance back at Kaer Morhen. He was more than happy to leave it behind and see the world, but his sister was dwelling within those walls, surrounded by a bunch of witchers that she had never met before. The anxiety she must have felt them. On top of that there was the fact he was about to do something he knew deep down that she wouldn't approve of, she was too gentle of a soul. "I'm sorry Tiana. I hope one day you will forgive me for what I am about to do." He said out loud before picking up a gallop and catching up to Veera. "I should have been more clear, sorry. The side effects I am talking about aren't like my eyesight. I was more referring to the seizures and fever I was having right after drinking the potion... And the scars and the pain..." The last part seemed hard for her to even think about. She was glad she wasn't marked forever due to what Seth had done to her. It would make work a lot harder for her to find, and given she had no one to provide for her, it wasn't looking good. At the very least now if she ever found a safe place to live, if nothing else she could get another job in a brothel, though if she could help it, she wouldn't. She was now already on the run from one brothel and the debts she owed it. Placing her cold hands in Veceslav's hands she allowed him to help her to her feet and guild her to where they needed to go. Her movements were slow and still, her knees seeming to tremble as she tried to walk. She would find the courage to actually close her eyes and rest soon. She had to, she couldn't keep going at this pace, no matter how hard she pushed herself. Her body didn't want to function anymore, but the fear in her mind prevented the fatigue from completely engulfing her. Evander said he was going to leave and Tatiana's heart sunk a bit. He was one of few familiar faces remaining in this room. Him and Kruez were it and she didn't want them to leave, on top of that she had never repaid him for his service. She looked over at him with tired sad eyes. She wanted to protest but realized that she didn't actually have anything to say to him. Instead she just turned back away and stared at the ground allowing Veceslav to help her out if he so wished. She just hoped Kruez would remain or her brother would come back soon, or Veera.
Aaron didn't take time to decide. He didn't want to take time to decide. He knew his decision already. "I am coming but I will not allow you to take my sister along. The carnage that we may cause... Besides she is not fully healed, look at her, she is in no shape to travel, it would make a dangerous task even more dangerous for her." Aaron stated as he followed Veera's lead. They would leave now while there was still a chance to get away. And as bad as he felt about it, he wouldn't go back and tell Tatiana, she would only try to stop him. If not that she would try to join them and she had already seen far more than she should for a person of her age, he wasn't going to allow her to see more. She had spent her entire life doing things for his sake, now it was his turn. There was no stopping him as he prepared his own horse for the journey along side Veera. Perhaps together they could put an end to the damage that dopplers were causing, at least the bad ones. Aaron still believed everyone deserved a chance to prove themselves. But right now dopplers had not.
"I just... I just need time to think. I will be back. If you need me, don't come find me for a while." Aaron said in an agitated voice as he brushed past Derrick returning on his way out. The young man couldn't help but run his fingers through his hair repetitively as he made his way towards the Gauntlet. A few more runs of that should help him calm down a bit, or that was the theory. He didn't care what Veceslav said or what Evander said. Though his words did make Aaron question how bad the damage originally was. between two mages and a witcher, he knew the damage that he saw was not the true extent of it, it would have been a lot worse before. As he walked he passed by Veera. "Whatever you wanted to plan, I want a part of it. I want to kill the doppler that hurt my sister and will do whatever if you grant me that blow on him." Aaron said to the woman. "I am on my way to the gauntlet. When you are done with whatever business you might be doing, talk to me, don't you dare do anything without me. Tatiana is my sister, she is mine to protect." Aaron added before continuing on his way. He didn't know where Veera was going or what she was doing, and didn't want to seem too desperate by sticking around, so he figured that telling her where to find him was a good enough solution. Tatiana slowly looked up as someone knelt beside her. "I am feeling better since Evander healed me from many of it's side effects thank you." Tatiana told the man, her voice strained and tired. "Everything looks funny though... it is in black and white." She explained to him. Her fever was down since the help of Evander but she was still not feeling the greatest. The biggest improvement was the fact that the pain was gone, and luckily the magic meant the wounds didn't leave any scars. In the end Tatiana was more warn out from the experience and it was taking it's toll mentally in the form of her fearing many things and every time she closed her eyes images from her hallucination appeared in her head making her very uncomfortable. She had also had to remind herself a few times what was going on. She was still getting confused, not as easily as when she first woke up after the potion was administered, but it still was there. These were things she didn't tell Veceslav however, she didn't want to seem completely helpless. However this was hard to hide when she looked around and realized that Aaron wasn't there. Not remembering what he had said moments ago she felt like she had to ask "Where is Aaron?"
"Whoa! That is cool!" Thomas gawked as he stumbled back a bit. However at this point he was more sober and knew well enough that this was not a good thing for them. He guessed that the fight wasn't over. But they were team king so they would not lose. "You think you can defeat us? We are team king! Good luck!" Thomas shouted up at Mikasa before standing at the ready for battle. "Yeah it has been long." Silvia said to Ander when she noticed the dinner was ready. "I am sorry I have to go." She said rushing off right after Tessa had. She followed to the table that Conrad had found for them and took a seat. "Thank you so much for dinner." Silvia said in a quiet yet polite voice. She wouldn't dare start eating till everyone was sitting down and someone else at the very least started. She would feel impolite and awkward to start eating now. In story land... Snow Silvia White walked towards the edge of the mirror and was able to see out to the world she had left behind. She saw a handsome prince bringing in a dead body, her body. Her eyes then fell on the queen. "Why did you do this to me? I don't understand. Why were you so jealous?" She asked softly, her voice sounding like she was on the verge of crying. Trevor turned to face the person talking to him. "I will be fine thanks. I will be sure to send anyone your way that is looking for food though." Trevor stated. "Anything else that I could do for you?" He asked as he ignored the shaking of the guild hall, probably a new person practicing a little too much or Edric got too drunk and decided to fight or something with his magic. Though if that was the case he would feel bad for whoever he was fighting. Thea jolted awake from her deep sleep as the hall shook. She brought her knees up to her chest as she sat up. Looking around Thea couldn't tell what was happening but to say she was a little scared was an understatement. "What is happening? Somebody make it stop." She cried out though no one seemed to be around. Thea buried her head in her knees as she trembled. Had Ezekiel come back to attack the guild again? Had he come to take her back? She didn't want to go back. She felt more at home here than she had ever felt there. She was always scared there, she never thought she was good enough. Her life was all about pleasing Ezekiel. Here she could be a little more herself. A little more of a carefree kid, though after all she had seen, that was still difficult at times.
Samantha jumped up as she heard the bell above the door to her shop open. She nearly dropped the potion she was brewing when she jumped up to greet her customers. Nervously she set down all her thinks and stood tall behind the counter. "Hello. What can I get- Oh Jankano! SilentBlade! Good to see you both! Have you two been working together or just happen to arrive at the same time?" Samantha asked in a nervous excitement. She didn't always know what to say but at least she tried to talk. "So are you here to buy, sell or trade today?" She asked half hoping it was the last one. She could use a few more ingredients for some of her potions but she didn't really have that much extra money right now to pay for them. Unless one or both of them was willing to take her out hunting for the ingredients herself, but being substantially lower level, she felt like they wouldn't do that.
"Very well." The king said as he rubbed his chin. He didn't blame anyone for their capture but he did have to do something about it. "Thank you for getting my daughter out of there, I know she can be unreasonable and hard to handle at the best of times, I can't imagine what it was like to drag her out of that. But this city needs their future queen to survive, no matter what the cost." The king said. "When this is all over, whatever you ask of us, it is your Gale, as thanks for the service you did for Kaynta." The king told the man giving a slight bow at the end as a sign of his gratitude. Turning to everyone else he decided to address them with a plan. "It is dangerous for many of us to enter the walled city. However we cannot let this stop us. We will go in under the cover of dark, for those of you with distinguishable features that identify you as anything but human, you will have to do your best to keep those covered, that being said it won't be easy. If possible we will sneak in and rescue Veera and Drake with minimal blood shed. If we get caught I will see if we can make some kind of deal. I may be your king but if they catch us and no deal can be reached, if some of you can get out, please do, you leave me there and report back. I would rather someone be able to confirm what happened then us all dying and no one here knowing. Flame will no be permitted to join us so there will be no need to worry about losing all leaders. Further more we need to be prepared. Those who are willing to come along will be assigned different pieces of preparation. We don't have much time till night fall comes. A few will need to go to Adelina and request rations for the night. We don't need anyone getting weak or fainting from not eating enough. Others grab and check all gear that we need. And someone else will need to see if Karen is back, if she is her service as a healer may be needed if she is willing to join." The king outlined. "Talk among your selves and report back to me if you are coming and which task you are willing to help with." Flame sat down as Kala grab a medicine kit and indicated for her to do so. While the woman worked on her wound Flame began to explain what happened and while she was upset. She started right at the beginning when she jokingly attacked the scouts before joining them on their mission. She talked about the Titan attack and all that they lost. Through these bits she seemed distant and emotionless. Her voice grew soft and sad as she reached the part in the wall city. How she tried to help Veera get out of an uncomfortable situation, and got them both in trouble. She talked about Veera's injury and about how Drake took on unimaginable odds to keep the humans back while Gale dragged her away. She didn't however say much about the point that she had got the cut on her face, she'd rather not talk about that one. "Dad won't permit me to go save them. They are captured because of me and I can't save them. My chest hurts and worst of all I can't stop thinking about Drake and his charming laugh and the beautiful way that he fights, and ugh why am I thinking about this. It is not the time for stupid childish crushes." Kala was the only one that Flame would admit that too. She thought of Kala as a friend. It never seemed that Kala feared her or treated her different due to the fact she was the princess. With Kala she felt like a normal girl. "What do I do now?" Flame breathed quietly, more than a little scared and confused with the situation.
Alexis uses Siren Song
Annabelle woke up after a while of sound sleeping. She didn't really want to get out of bed yet but she found it too quiet and uncomfortable to just sit in the tent at that time. Slowly she got to her feet and exited the tent. Yana wasn't there. Perhaps now was her chance. Part of her was terrified to try to leave, however then she looked down at her naked and scared body. How could things get any worse. It was starting to feel like death would be a blessing. Annabelle wrapped a blanket around herself and then began to run away from the camp. She didn't actually know where she was going, but away, anywhere that was far enough away from Yana would do. Hopefully it would work. If not, well she would be in huge trouble. Aaron sat and listened to everyone's input before he decided to answer to Evander. He did this mainly to ensure he didn't piss off Vecelsav off more. He really didn't feel like getting on the mans bad side even more so. However he looked over at his sister and instead of asking her for her opinion, just watch as she tried to keep herself awake despite looking downright horrible from everything she had been through. He decided for himself what he was going to do about it. "I don't believe every doppler ever should die. However I will kill any that stands in my way of killing the one who has done this to my sister. I believe not everything deserves to die. But I do believe those who have hurt others and are protecting those who hurt someone deserve to be punished. You don't have to have any part of this but I will do what I can to bring him to justice." Aaron stated as he looked Evander in the eye. Aaron then turned to Olivia "Stop it!" He told her sounding very angry. "I was still days away from reaching her. I would have never gotten there in time. Do not blame yourself for this. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here to see here. I would probably be in some random little town, doing jobs for money and impossible to reach. So do not for any reason blame yourself." Aaron huffed running his fingers through his hair. He was breathing rather heavy now, frustrated at everything and a little confused what to do. While everyone was debating what to do Tatiana sat in silence. Veera had marched off and her brother was getting frustrated. She didn't really know where she was or what she was to do here, but she didn't have much choice on what to do. She was feeling so weak, she didn't have the strength to bother moving too much. However she couldn't even rest with the amount of tension in the air at that time. The young woman stared down at her folded hands in her lap waiting for something that had to do with her to happen instead of her sitting here like she was invisible to all around her. Terra let out a slight sigh. She had already given up her own meal. "Come in. I will see what I can find for you to eat, but right after dinner I am putting you to work cleaning up. I could use a bit of a break. " Terra told Zephyr as she lead him inside. She lead him to the dinning room where everyone was sitting, giving a small smile to Willow /Sarah encouraging the girl to settle in better. "Everyone this is Zephyr, he will be helping out around here a bit now. Have a seat, they will make room for you Zephyr. I will see what I can scrounge up in the kitchen for you to eat. Two new people in one day. What is going on in this world right now?" Terra introduced Zephyr to everyone before she turned and walked towards the kitchen to find food.
Thomas uses Blitz Well Leo didn't mind helping, that was good. However now Silvia didn't know what to do with herself until dinner was ready. She soon found herself wandering over to a cupboard and searching until she found juice crystals. Pulling out a large pitcher from the same cupboard Silvia began to measure them out. As she made the juice for the group she quietly hummed to herself to try to quell the awkwardness of the limited conversation directed at her. Situations like this made her a little awkward. In story book land.... Silvia looked down, she didn't think of herself as that beautiful. "How could she be jealous of me? I am nothing special at all. Look at me. What is there to be jealous of?" Snow Silvia white stated as she looked at her hands and such. She didn't feel all that special or unique. She felt like she was just a normal person with nothing special to remark. "Perhaps whoever controls the afterlife thought you were lonely and needed a friend. I can be your friend... if that is what you want." Silvia suggested shyly, not sure if what she was saying sounded completely ridiculous and stupid. With everyone walked away from Trevor he turned back to the bar. A small smile spread across his face as he thought about how Leo and that girl reacted to his question. It was kind of funny. He wouldn't laugh in front of Leo but they were both so awkward and nervous, such puppy love. The smile dropped from his face as he thought about his own relationship status. He had not been in one in a very long time and not many were willing to put up with his.... issues, two to be exact. They were called Derk and George. With a sigh, Trevor turned his back to the part of the counter where other guild members could sit at and instead focused on cleaning the area behind the counter. It wasn't like he had anything better to do.
Terra looked skeptical at the mans words. "No one just offers help for free. Not in this day and age. What is it that you want, if it is money, you are out of luck, I struggle to keep this place running as it is. I may be able to help with clothing or shelter or something." Terra told the young man. It was true, looking after fourteen children wasn't cheep, she couldn't afford hired help. If he just needed a place to stay or something along those lines, she might be able to help out there. Why was she even considering another person to take care of though? It was enough as it was. This wasn't her dream, yet a part of her still felt like she had to. Things that her husband had changed about her had stuck and now she couldn't say no to anyone in need of help, even if she did end up trafficking them and using them for experiments. At least they lived a comfortable life before dying or being trafficked instead of being plucked off the cold unforgiving streets. I am almost there. I have almost found the illness, I can get the cure, and then no more. Eric I will keep your dream alive after that. After I can feel safe enough to open my heart again. Terra thought to herself as she waited for the boys response.
Because I forgot about her in my last post. "I spent all my life learning medicines. My mom owned a herbal medicine shop and since my father wasn't around needed me to help run it since I was old enough to walk. I spent my entire life learning medicines. Though the healing magic was all just me teaching myself. My mom isn't a big fan of magic." Silvia explained to Tessa. That was when Leo walked in asking what was happening. "Oh Leo. I forgot to get any food too cook but Conrad offered to let us have some of his food, so we are joining him and Tessa, I hope that is okay." Silvia told him with a slight smile. "I also offered that we would clean up after." She added quietly hoping he wouldn't be mad that she volunteered him for something.
It was becoming more clear that Ander didn't understand anything, but that was still making Thea uncomfortable and seemed to be bringing on more conflict between Ander and Vance. Ander seemed to think Vance intended on hurting her or something, when that was not the case at all. Before she could even try to explain things, not that she could given how nervous and uncomfortable she was, Vance ordered her to go upstairs. "Yes father." Thea responded as she stood up a little straighter, still keeping one hand on the wall for balance, and wandered off to her room. The silence for that moment was uncomfortable because she knew that Vance was not done with Ander yet. But at the same time she was happy to be away from the conflict. It didn't take Thea too long to find her way to her room, but longer than normal given her fatigue was causing her to move substantially slower. She didn't stop to play or even change out of her dress, instead she quickly found herself curled up in her bed, ready to go to sleep. She glanced once over at the ice sculpture that Skadi had made for her then rolled over and went to sleep. She was a part of this guild but sometimes she still didn't quite feel like it.
"I am the reason all of you are here. So if anyone gets in trouble, I don't want it to be you guys. You have done enough already." Tatiana explained as she looked down at her hands folded in her lap. Sleep tugged the corner of her eyes though she was still scared to go to sleep for the fear of the nightmares. Tatiana cringed at the yelling and slamming of the door, it was just so loud. She just wanted quiet right now. After everything that happened all this commotion wasn't helping her at all. Two men appeared in front of them. One started talking first asking about who they were, what they were doing there, and then he saw Evander and looked angry. Tatiana became very uncomfortable but there wasn't much she could do about. She had to say something though, She couldn't let this man get mad at them because they wanted to protect her. "They are here because of me. I got myself in some trouble and Veera was only trying to help. So was Kruez and Evander." Tatiana said quietly, trying to draw the anger towards her more than anyone else. Her eyes drifted to the other man, he seemed to look familiar but she couldn't figure out why at first. Aaron was tense as he stood in front of Veceslav. He confirmed that he didn't have to run the gauntlet in the morning, but said he did have to be tested on the rules. That only made him wonder about the paper. "Sir, does that mean I don't have to-" He was cut off when he heard yelling from upstairs and Vec saying he was being called. Aaron followed, if for no other reason then there was no reason for him to be sitting down in the lab and the stairs were the quickest way up. As he neared the top he heard another familiar voice, and not just Veera's who he had sometimes seen around. The other voice he heard sounded different then he remembered, and it had been eight years since he heard it, but he had little doubts about who it belonged to, which only brought worry. Approaching Veera and the others he looked at the girl who the voice belonged to. Could that really be the same person that he left at home eight years before to come here? Veera's introduction confirmed his suspicions. It was his sister Tatiana, however she seemed not well. Veera said she had been attacked by a monster. The knuckles on Aarons clenched fist turned white as he listened, as he looked over his sisters frail, all too thin body. She had promised him she was taking care of herself, but she didn't look like it. There was no visible wounds left on her, but the emotional ones weren't hiding very well. Then there was her size. Had she been sacrificing food for herself to take care of him? He didn't put it past her, she had always put others ahead of herself. Taking smaller portions so him and his father could have enough to eat after their mother died. Things like that. But she promised she was fine, she didn't look fine. "Tiana...." He said quietly as he approached the girl. "You might not recognize me, but it is I, Aaron, your brother." He said in a gentle voice as he walked up to her, and crouched down so he was on her level as he talked to her. "I am sorry, I am so sorry that I couldn't be there to help you. To save you." He said before he decided he couldn't keep quiet about her weight anymore. He placed his hand on her arm. "You haven't had enough money for an adequate amount of food, have you? Why did you do this to yourself. I am sure that they wouldn't let me starve here. You should have taken care of yourself better. I shouldn't have even come here, but stayed at home and worked as soon as I was able to. I should have tried to get you out of that wretched place, sooner." Tatiana looked up at her brother, placing a cold hand on his cheek. "Aaron. I am fine. This is what you wanted to do, don't regret it." She told him quietly, completely avoiding the comment about her weight. "Veera saved me, she gave me a potion before I could bleed out, and then this kind mage, Evander, he helped take some of the effects from the potion away, and brought me here. I owe them my life." Tatiana explained, tears beginning to form in her eyes. It had been so long since she had seen her brother. "You are so big, and strong and handsome now. Look at you." She commented before flinging both of her arms around his neck to give him an awkward hug due to the fact she was sitting and he was crouching. Aaron hugged her back and wiped a couple tears from his face before standing up and turning to the three other people who arrived with Tatiana. "I suppose I owe you all my deepest gratitude for saving Tiana." He said to them. He then walked over to Kruez. "I don't think we caught your name though. I am Aaron, Aaron Risen, Tiana's brother." He introduced, offering his hand for a hand shake.
