Well Trevor had tried to talk to Beadle earlier, he was blown off and now Beadle was talking to other people. Tevor didn't want to interrupt and Rho and Aias was not really doing anything so Trevor stood their quietly waiting for everyone to leave and for Beadle to finish talking so he could maybe eventually ask his questions. But for now he didn't care. Thomas uses fire dash. Thea didn't understand what anyone was talking about, and didn't really care. It seemed that Vance was also ignoring her, so that didn't help. Not having anything to say or do, Thea continued hiding behind Conrad because no one has said anything about it, so why the hell not.
Drake had taken off shortly after Flame. Glancing back to where he was, she noticed that he was distracted. Damn centaur was distracting everyone. She couldn't get Kala to not ride it, and now Drake was staring and not paying attention to where he was going. This turned out to be a fatal mistake, or nearly fatal as it was. Flame was at a loss for breath for a moment as she watched the titan grab Drake. How could he be so careless? He was one of their best and all it took was a simple slip up to end a life. No she wasn't going to lose someone else, she couldn't lose someone else, not after her father.... Flame snapped herself out of the thought and sprung into action. She shot of her 3DMG towards the back of the titan's neck and swung towards it, however she was forced to change direction when another titan nearly caught her. She didn't have time to fight them all now. Flame attempted to attack once again, this time from a different angle. She was able to attack this time. The cut she made was not deep enough to kill the titan, but it was sufficient enough to make the titan drop Drake. Now for the next problem, he was falling. Knowing she had no time to waste, Flame pushed off the titan and shot her 3DMG down under where Drake was falling. She hoped she estimated the projectile of everything right as she swung in to catch him. With Drake in her arms she swung over to the nearest roof, put him down, shifted to a leopard and started running on roof tops. She ran from a few and jumped from one to the next until in an ideal position to attack the titans again. Only then did she switch back to fae and head towards the titan who nearly caused her to fail her rescue, killing it with one swift movement. A look of worry crossed Adelina's face as Zack got up. She didn't think anything was wrong, but then again her mind was rather far gone at the moment. While Zack looked over the edge of the platform, Adelina took another sip of the wine, letting the fuzziness it caused calm her mind. The woman attempted to sit up properly to see if she could figure out what was going on, but she was far too dizzy. Adelina slowly laid back down and held her head. "I over did it, didn't I?" She mumbled to herself. Suddenly she realized Zack had yet to come back and sit with her like he probably would have normally. "I-is something.... -hic- Is something w-wrong." She managed to get out, but a familiar tiredness that came with her getting drunk hit her. On top of that her vision was blury and the world spun. Yeah she over did it. She just hoped whatever was going on wasn't too serious.
Spoiler: For the love of all things good if you are squeamish about death of children DO NOT READ "Run, get to Terra's room and find a weapon and run. I will do what I can to keep him here." Peter whispered in Alisa's ear before stepping in front of the girl. He really had no way to defend himself but he had to do something in order to stop the man. "Stay away from my family!" He shouted before charging at Solomon. However that was when he heard the scream of Alisa behind him. The boy paused a moment to see his companion desperately fighting to get a skeletal hand from her leg. "Alisa!" He shouted running back towards the girl as the hand pulled the girl down to the floor. Peter did everything he could to try to fight off the undead hand the best he could. He could feel his finger nails ripping from his skin but didn't care. His hands started to become covered in blood, a mix of his own and Alisa's. The hand was squeezing so hard with sharp, chipped bony fingers that it was causing blood to poor from the poor girls legs. Peter was helpless to get it of as it squeezed tighter and tighter until he heard the snap of bone and the screams and sobs of Alisa. "Leave her alone! Stop it!" Peter screamed becoming more and more desperate. The bony hand began to loosen finally, giving Peter hope to free his companion. However that hope was crushed as something sharp and ragged hit the back of his neck, piercing through it. Peter gasped for breath but his lungs quickly filled with blood instead of oxygen. Soon the boy went completely limp, his dead body landing hard on top of Alisa, the hand gripping her leg, tightening it's grip once again. The screams of Alisa were heard all through the house on top of the creaks of walls and doors and the shattering of windows. However the sound of Peter that harmonized with Alisa's screams suddenly went quiet, leaving sobs and begging to echo through the house alone. However soon enough the melody would be joined with a chorus of screams, sobs and last breaths as the undead, one by one, entered various bedrooms. The first bedroom to be invaded was one of a child no older than four. She was the most recent to arrive at the orphanage. At first the girl was no where to be seen, but after a quick glance a whimper was heard from under the bed. The undead creature reached a bony hand under the bed and pulled the child out from under it as she whimpered and sobbed. She couldn't even manage a scream when seeing the creatures face. It was so ugly, and contorted. What was she to think of that. She was helpless to do anything but whimper as the undead squeezed her face harder and harder. Soon enough blood oozed from between it's long, thin fingers as each piece of the girls skull was being reduced to just shards. He continued to carry the corpse by it's now crushed head down towards the girl that had been trapped between another child's body. "Gabi... no... Why her. She was only a child!" Alisa screamed out as she saw the young girls body, but the face was no longer recognizable. Alisa let out a cough as the body hit her, knocking the wind out of her for the moment. At the same time as Gabi was being murdered, on the opposite side of things Claire, the oldest child was found in Eric's study. "S-stay away. I am warning you!" The girl threatened holding out a sword she found in front of her, but in the end she didn't really know how to use it. As the undead got closer to her, she swung the sword around wildly hoping to hit it. Instead of slicing it, the undead caught the blade in his hand and yanked it forward causing Claire to stumble towards him. He caught the girl by the throat and strangled her with one hand, not bothering to use the sword for this one, though he kept it as he took the body back to the main hall and followed the other undeads example, despite the plea's not to from the girl who was slowly being soaked in the blood of her loved ones. Marching away from the slowly growing pile of bodies, the undead that now wielded a sword burst through the door of a couple young boys, no older than twelve. They were huddled against a wall together, shaking in fear. The first one was stabbed, clean and simple, left to bleed out, but he was conscious enough to watch his friends death. "Garrett!" The first boy cried out as he watched the second get stabbed. However things went a lot worse for him. The undead dropped the sword and picked up the first boy. He then brought the boy's body down on the edge of a chair with great force. The spine bent an unnatural way as his back broke and the body went limp. "John!" Garrett cried out in a weak, fading voice. Tears filling his eyes as the life left him. The undead left the two boys bodies for another to deal with as he picked up his sword and continued on. There was now five dead, but the orphanage was far from empty now. Sobs still rolled through the halls of scared children. Walking to the next room, the undead creature found another set of two, this time girls. They were on a bed hiding under blankets. Without making a sound he walked over and grabbed a lit candle, dropping it on the bed. As he did that an undead hand similar to the one that held Alisa down came from the wall, keeping the girls from running. The undead listened to the screams as they burned to death and didn't leave until the sobs and screams from that particular room silenced. Cailyn and Jayn had fallen as well. Room after room he entered killing each child he found. In the next room he got to he utilized the sword once again to cut off one of the boys arms and then use the hand of it to stab the other boy's eyes out. There was screaming, gods was there screaming from the boy, but the harder he pushed the quieter the boy got until it fell completely silent. The undead then shoved the arm down the first boy's throat, choking him to death. "Patrick... Alex... Why... not them too..." Alisa sobbed before their bodies were dumped atop her head, silencing her a bit more, but not killing her. Next came to the room of Sam and Devyn. The two boys stood against the back wall looking like they were ready do some sort of karate. Neither boy knew karate, but it was better than waiting to die. "Charge!" The first, boy Sam cried. They both charged at the undead in an attempt to fight, however this didn't work as it didn't take much for it to simply grab the two boys and smash their heads together, enough to daize them, before throwing each in a different direction. While Devyn went clean through the thin bedroom wall, Sam was flunge in the air and impaled on the rusty bed post at the end of one of of the beds. The Undead stepped through the hole in the wall left by Devyn, the boy still breathed, but barely. The undead stepped on him crushing his chest as he looked up at the last two for him to kill. These boys seemed to be in the middle of a discussion of some sort, about magic and numbers and balancing. Then one suddenly then bust out into some sort of song that did not match the melody that his master was humming. "SNAAAAAAKKKKKKEEEEE EATTTTERRRRRRRR!" The boy knows as Tom belted out. While the other boy, India seemed to be distracted looking at a dirty magazine. Suddenly the two boys turned there attention to the undead. "Oh hey, are you here to kill us too? Cool I had nothing else to do with my day." The singing boy stated. "Well no one would miss me anyways." The other pitched in before dropping his magazine. Then both boys looked at each other and nodded. With the help of their special little green friend, they felt like they could do anything, including killing something that was already dead. Boy were they wrong, though this was only realized when India's guts were spilled and Tom was being strangled with his intestines. Slowly one by one, all of Alisa's brothers and sisters were piled on top of her. The more that fell the harder it was to breath. She was being held down by the weight of the people she had spent so long living with. Eventually she even gave up screaming and sobbing. With her face pinned to the floor and damp loose clothes covering her face she found it harder to breath. Her body was being crushed. Unlike the others her death didn't come quick. It was long and drawn out as she suffocated under the bodies of the people she considered siblings. He wanted her to be a princess? Everything inside of her wanted to scream yes, that she would do it. But one thing plagued her mind, why her? What could she do? Was she even fit to be a princess? And what about the scars that marred her body, with those she would never stand a chance of seeming like a princess. Annabelle chose to only asked the last of these questions, scared if she said too much then she would completely lose any chance of being the princess that he was offering her to be. Annabelle picked up the book that she dropped and flipped open to a page with a good picture of a princess on it. "I will never be pretty like her, look at all my scars. Won't people wonder. I mean I want to. It would be like a dream come true to be a princess, but I don't look like one." She pointed out. Although there were other questions that should be asked, like why no one else knew he was a mage, Annabelle was too young and naive to even think of asking them.
Seth didn't flinch at the insult, he was insulted enough for it to not bother him. Then came the suggestion. "Well you see, as stated before he promised for my service and walking her home I would get a warm safe place to stay, that is something rare for me. On top of that despite how protective of her he might be, I respect him enough to not completely go behind his back." Seth explained making it seem like he had at least a little bit of honour. Then the conversation turned to classifications of Monsters and not. As much as he felt safer with this particular witcher, Seth doubted that every witcher shared the same opinion, though he kept that thought to himself. The topic, thankfully changed to something more casual, but still something that Seth felt that he had to lie about in order to keep himself safe. "I just came here from Vizima, nothing too interesting but you know it was a place to go. Gotta keep moving after all in this life." Seth stated casually, not going to mention he had been to Novigrad, that could lead to a lot of issues. Then there was the question where he would like to see. In the end Seth never thought about it, he was too focused on surviving. However he needed to come up with something, so he went with the first place he thought of off the top of his head. "I would love to go see Lyria sometime though. I don't leave this area too much though, honestly I just don't know the way to anywhere else and would rather avoid being caught in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night with nothing to eat. And given money is tight being over prepared isn't much of an option." Seth explained. Tessa seemed tired but that didn't stop her from saying something she really shouldn't have. Seth tensed up as he tried to think of a way out of this one. "Yeah..." He said rubbing the back of his neck with a nervous chuckle. "That is under different circumstances when said witcher didn't just save your friends life." Seth said wondering what Veceslav would think of this entire thing. He then decided to try something. "If you are tired why don't you come lean against me. I will keep you warm and you can rest by the fire for a bit. I will keep an eye out to make sure we are safe. Bryce will hate me for this, but hey, what can we do? You seem not ready to move yet." He offered, not daring to push to leave again. It was weird hearing her last name, no one called her by that. "Oh, sorry your highness." Annabelle said as she attempted a bow, definitely not a practiced one. "You can just call me Annabelle, or Anna if it is easier. But... well I guess it is up to you." She told the king, not wanting to seem like she was telling him directly what to do. Archon then began asking about her magic in a rather demanding tone. The book slipped from her hand as she took a step back away from him, nervous. "Well... I know a decent amount of earth magic, Yana was teaching me how to use it. Lets see I can um...use the earth around me to make things... and I can create these rock creatures from stones in the area, though the process isn't as quick as Yana would like it. Then I can also manipulate sand and stuff. On top of that I can act like dry dirt in a way of absorbing water...." Annabelle did her best to explain her powers though she was nervous and didn't know exactly how to. "Oh yeah! And I can remove the oxygen from an area... though I am not good at that one, sometimes I can't quite get the area of effect right." She explained thinking about the amount of times she nearly killed herself. She was determined to get better with that though, she could control it eventually. "And that is about it mister king sir." Annabelle said not sure what she was supposed to do or say now. Alisa, having awakened soon after Sara left the room, made her way downstairs to see Solomon in the doorway. "W-who are you? Where did Terra go. She would never leave us. What did you do to her?" The girl was instantly frightened by the man as she stepped back towards the stairs. She didn't however know of the man behind her, a seventeen year old male. He had just turned seventeen, barely older than herself. "Listen, I don't know who you are, but we don't need your help. Between Alisa, Sasha and I, we can take care of the kids till Terra returns for us." He told the man. The boy, Peter, put his hand on Alisa's shoulder trying to calm her a bit. "Leave now." He ordered as he eyed the door to Terra's room. If things got bad then he would send Alisa running there to find weapons while he fended the strange man off.

Roxanne didn't look at Brianne as she scolded her, instead staring at the floor, a look of anger on her face. There at the girls feet was one of the worst sights she could have seen, her ice cream on the ground. That b*stard had made her drop her ice cream. Oh he was asking for it now. Roxanne would be sure to make his death, long and painful, and very fun for her. He would pay for the death of her ice cream. After a moment of staring, morning her lost ice cream, Roxanne once again was able to hear what was going on around her, that unfortunately meant Brianne. She only caught the end of her cursing her for letting the man get away, but that was all she needed to hear. "You know it is more fun when they ruuuuuuuunnnnn." She stated with a giggle getting ready to go after their target herself. She would enjoy the chase. She always enjoyed the chase. "It is chasey chasey time. Ready or not here comes Roxy!" She stated getting ready to run after Masque. This plan was quickly put to an end by Brianne's threat to report her and get every shadowhunter on her back. As fun as that would be, it made practicing her killing harder because it would no longer be her job to kill demons. She supposed that she should go along then and get this whole report thing dealt with quickly. Before the could head back, Brianne had to stop and talk to Hendrik. Roxanne waited not so patiently as Brianne explained the situation, and poorly so in Roxanne`s opinion. "Well I would have tracked him down, but miss grumpy-pants here wouldn't let me. He made me drop his ice cream. No one does that and gets away with it." Roxanne stated in a very matter of fact tone. She didn't even care that her words could piss Brianne off more. In the end Roxanne wasn't scared of her.
Seth knew in a way Tessa's words reflected him badly. It would most likely seem he was the one keeping her from going off on her own, but he actually wanted to offer to take her to see the world, however in the end he needed a safe warm place to stay for the night and caved to the desires of Bryce. Now the next problem was how to explain everything properly. Veceslav had already caught onto how nervous he was and asked about it on top of everything else. This was not a good situation to be in. Well first he was to address one thing at a time, starting with the comment of the song bird and keeping them locked up. "Hey man, don't look at me about that one. I actually offered to take her to see the world, but Bryce pulled me to the side and told me not to put the idea in her head. He is the protective one, not me. In the end the only reason I was trying to watch her so close was because I was promised a warm place to sleep tonight if I did. I am a wanderer, never settled down and rarely have money, I take what I can get." Seth defended himself. He was aware he was making Bryce, one of few people that was nice to him, out to be a bad guy, but Seth was sure the man could talk his way out of the situation better than he ever could. "If it was up to me I would help Michael run, or at the very least admire from afar. I don't typically like to get caught up in this sort of mess." He stated. With that he was pretty much lead into the next question that was asked of him. Seth suspected that this was a baited question. After all by this point the man had probably figured out what they were. It was a witchers job to know the monsters, and the necklace he wore would help towards that. Seth figured the safest thing to do was point out what would seem obvious. "Well you are a witcher, and from what I have heard of witchers, I assume that you know what I am. Given that wouldn't you be a bit nervous too if you were in my situation. After all I am considered a monster for existing, and isn't your job to kill monsters? So lets call this a natural precaution." Seth told Veceslav as he folded his hands behind his head. Besides the way he was pushing to leave he kept himself seeming pretty calm, the tone of his voice as cocky as ever, not as worried as he felt. When he explained his reasoning he was careful to keep mention of Tessa out of it. He hoped that Vec would more be drawn to him and not figure that Tessa was the same as him. The attention was then turned to Tessa, thank goodness. Seth still kept a close eye and careful ear for any threat to Tessa, but so far there seemed to be none. The Witcher asked her real name before mentioning his own. Veceslav Furst, also known as The Crow. Seth had heard of him through his travels, and was always sure to stay away from places that he was rumoured to be. If anyone was to hear about what he had done, it would be Veceslav. That being said, it was just as likely that others did or didn't know. It depended what happened with the girl after he had left. It could have very well ended with Veera having to take care of her and not reaching them yet anyways. In the end Seth didn't let the name worry him too much, any witcher was bad news, this one, no matter who he was, was no different. Aaron was not feeling too confident about the situation, but as Veera said, their fates were in the gods hands now. Aaron then turned to address Raymond's question. Had the man really never heard of exaggeration before? Aaron let out a long sigh before finally addressing Raymond. "He won't literally kill us, but Crow will not be so pleased with us. In the end this is a war he did not wish to see happen." Aaron explained giving as little detail as possible. With that all said and out of the way Aaron began to scan the room for a good place to meditate. Veera had suggested it, and in the end the break did sound nice. "If you excuse me I am going to meditate now." Aaron told the other two before walking over to a corner of the house where he felt the most out of the way. From there he knelt down and closed his eyes, slowing his breath. The notion of meditating might have looked or sounded weird to non-witchers, but to Aaron it was relaxing and a welcoming calm. This must have been the friend that had wanted him to go along with her earlier, Tatiana figured. She glanced around as they walked to see if she could spot the girl, but no such luck. It felt strange to have someone holding her hand and leading her around, but in the end it made Tiana slightly more comfortable given her state. While Derrick talked to the person at the bar, Tatiana's eyes darted nervously around the room, searching to see if there seemed to be anyone looking her direction, anyone who wanted to take her back to the brothel she previously worked for. In the end she saw a few people looking, a few approving smiles, but nothing too scary or out of the ordinary. She was a prostitute, she probably still looked a bit like one though not dressed for it at this time. In the end the looks she was getting were nothing more then people approving what they assumed to be Derricks choice in woman. It didn't help that he was holding her hand. Tatiana guessed that they assumed Derrick was asking for a room or something, and in the end it didn't bother her at all. She was used to this kind of stuff. So in the end Tatiana had no problem keeping close to Derrick and keeping quiet. She just hoped that the pain wouldn't return and cause a scene.
The spider moved out of way, well that was a pain in the butt. The entire purpose of attacking like that was to finish the spider off quickly. When he didn't actually hit the damn thing than it didn't mean anything. Laurentinus sighed and did his best to regain composer. At the very least he took the next hit instead of Kara, that was helpful. Putting away his sword Laurentinus decided to focus with his shield instead. He started by attempting to bash the spider away with it, and then followed by moving himself into a more defensive position. As much as he would have liked to go and help Conrad with the other two spiders, he had to do what he could here first. He was a close range fighter, but more than that existed to defend, so he had to do that where he was first before he moved to another place to do the same thing. As much as he hated to leave the man injured, he was sure the others would clue in by now to help him, at least until he could join Conrad back on the front lines. What in the world Ren just did: Ren moved 2 spaces up/left in front of Giant Spider 1 (2AP) Ren used shield bash on Giant spider #1(5AP) Total AP used (7AP)
As Roxanne walked through the street, eating her ice cream and searching. She was sure there was a demon somewhere for her to kill. And of course soon enough she found people screaming and running out of a club. Well this would be fun. Roxanne finally bothered with her runes, putting one of for speed, one on for glamour and one on for strength. With that done she stepped into the club, wielding her kitchen knife and eating her ice cream. "Well well, what do we have here? This will be fun won't it?" Roxanne asked with a high pitch giggle. She then glanced over and noticed that she was not the only one here. "Brianne, Hendrik. What a surprise. Are you here to join the fun as well?" She asked them, insanity dancing in her eyes. "Buuuuttttttttt, enough with the talk, I don't like how he looked at me." Roxanne indicated to Masque. She twirled the kitchen knife in her hand, gave the other two a wink, then took off towards Masque, aiming for a strike to the side. Nothing deadly. She liked to play with her victims before she killed them after all. It wasn't long before Slavko found an unsuspecting b*stard. The man he found was in his early twenties and was quite handsome. The dark hair male had soft features and was likely able to draw the attention of many female, he was a perfect target. Slavko stalked the male for a couple blocks until he turned off a main road to somewhere a bit darker, more private, there was the place he chose to possess the man, making a home in his body. It took no time for Slavko to get used to his new body he was using. At first it was difficult to suppress the soul of the male in order to take over, but soon enough the task was done. He was in full control of the body. Now his goal was simply to find a young woman. It would be an easy enough job to seduce her, and then when the young man with soft features and messy brown hair went to kiss them, well they wouldn't know what hit them before he took their life. And if anyone was to deny him and walk away, well they would find themselves in a world of bad luck. Shoving his hands in his pocket Slavko began to walk the streets with a smug smile on his face. There was sure to be plenty of pretty girls around here at this time, preparing for a night out on the town, one of them, or more, would be his victim. Slavko slicked back his hair and strolled down the streets winking at a few girls as he walked by, but not making a move yet, it was still too early and he wanted to make sure he could have lots of fun before they died, and in order for that to happen he had to select just the right girl.
"So it is an all out war then?" Aaron asked with a sigh as he began pacing once again. "Vec will hang us when this is all done, though I assume he will help. He isn't one to let any of us die, unless he is killing us, which I can see him doing." Aaron commented. It wasn't a pleasant thought, any of it, but there was not much he could do. They needed whatever help they could get, then they would have to deal with the consequences after. He wasn't looking forward to that, but in the end it would keep Tatiana safe, so he would do what he had to, no matter what. Annabelle stepped into the nursery, nervously. She looked around the dusty room, it wasn't the ideal place to settle, but better than how she had been living. Annabelle hadn't been living in a proper home for a long time so it was refreshing despite the dust. Soon Bramwell left her alone to talk to the king. This left Annabelle to go wander into the nursery. Behind the dust, it seemed like a nice place. She walked over to a shelf of some books. Annabelle picked a book up and started looking at the pretty pictures of a princess. She had not really been taught to read, but she liked the pictures. While standing there she heard someone come into the room. Turning around she faced the king. While most people would be scared or bowing or something, Annabelle simply stood there. On top of not knowing how to properly act, she doubted anyone was as bad Yana, and thus despite having fearful habits, didn't fear other people as much as she feared Yana. The king asked her to tell him about herself, she didn't know what to say though. "Um... Tell you about myself? Well... I am seven years of age. I have no family because Yana killed them. Since she did that I have been with her, she has been training me with my magic, but not very well. She hurt me a lot. Um... I don't know what else to tell you." She admitted to him, though she kept eye contact. The man was slightly scary but she could handle it. She could push down her fear in order to speak to this man who might just keep her safe from Yana. Veceslav began to question Seth, and things became very awkward and hard to explain. "I don't know how she ended up in the river. I was supposed to be walking her home after work and well I got distracted for a moment and when I looked back she ran off looking for Bryce. I was just trying to track them down. I don't even know where Bryce is now but I am glad I found Tessa. Anyways, that is why I need to get her home, I am sure Bryce is there waiting for us." Seth explained to Veceslav. He then turned to Tessa. "Are you feeling better yet?" Tatiana slowly opened her eyes, still groggy. She let Derrick help her off the horse as she stood looking at the establishment. "So what are we doing here?" She asked him as she tried to fix her hair slightly. Tatiana was a little nervous being so in the open around a big city, when she knew that people would probably want to kill her. However she was with Derrick, that should keep her safe. She would stay by Derricks side no matter what right now, it was all she could do.
"I am sorry. I am not sad or anything. It's just.... I am happy. No one has cared about me like this before. I am not used to people actually caring for me. Since my parents died I have been really lonely. Just thank you." Adelina told Zack, trying to explain what was going through her mind. There wasn't much else for her to say. She just wanted to be near Zack right now. There was nothing else to do or say, just lay there and stare into Zacks sparkling blue eyes. Swinging through town below, Flame followed a trail of dead titans. She needed to meet up with Drake. They would clear this town, but they would do it together. Flame just hoped that the others would follow her. In the distance Flame caught the sight of a group of titans as well as a small figure swinging around. It had to be Drake, there was no other thoughts for it. Flying towards the titans going after Drake, Flame drew her swords. She shot herself straight for one of the titans and quickly took it out. As it fell to the ground, Flame was forced to go in another direction, away from Titans. "Drake, stop it. Do go off on your own, fight with me! Please, fighting on your own is the quickest way to die." She told him as she circled around and stood at his side. "Together." She said with a nod before taking off back towards the titan's.
Aster glanced up to see the escape ship waiting. Carissa was yelling at him, like she always did. This time though it was just telling him to get aboard it. Well it looked like the fun was over for now. Aster steered the horse out of a group of soldiers and hopped off while it was still running, just for style points. Away from the horse he made his way towards the ship. Aster got onto the ship and went straight for Carissa. "Looking as lovely as ever, glad you didn't die in that battle. It would be a bloody shame to waste something so beautiful." He commented. "So how many did you kill?" He asked with a smug smirk on his face, feeling rather confident. Or he was feeling confident until he saw a figure on the ground in the room behind him. Welp he lost and he knew it, but he could always lie, and still win in the end. That seemed to be a good idea. Though for now he would go greet their guest. "Well look what the cat dragged in. Life with mom not as pleasant as you imagined? Or perhaps that power you ever seek isn't as nice as you hoped." Aster walked up, crouching in front of his sister. He pulled her mask off so he could see her full face. "Well it seems you have not lost you looks, always got that from mom didn't you?" He said as he stood up again, not knowing exactly what to say to her. He had not expected Carissa to succeed in capturing her. Rose was helpless as her bother approached her. She glared at him, wanting to bite his hand off as he removed her mask. The boy was as big of a dick as she last remembered her. If she could properly talk back or get up and stick a sword through his gut, she would, but that currently wasn't possible due to Carissa and her damn paralysis bolt. "Well look at that fire in your eyes. I don't know how long that paralysis will last, so best be safe." Aster stated as he grabbed some rope and began to tightly bound her arms behind her back and her feet together. He then sat her up properly against a wall. "Well this should be fun, but for now I have something else to deal with." He said as he walked back to Carissa, ready to discuss their little bet.
Damn it! Despite their positioning for maximum defense, Shyra and Kara still got attacked over him. He might have had a bit of a falling out or issue with both women, but in the end they were still his comrades and he couldn't just sit there and watch them get hurt. He clenched his fist before getting ready for his own attacks. Seeing that one of the spiders as still near Kara, he figured that one needed to be dealt with before it killed her. Laurentinus took one step back to position himself closer to Kara, directly in front of her. "Don't worry Kara, you will be okay. I won't let anything else hurt you if I can help it." Though he knew that it was not entirely in his control and he hated it. If someone died on their first mission... He didn't have time to think of that, he had to focus on defending his injured comrade. Turning away from the two giant spiders, Ren turned his attention to the third. He drew his broadsword figuring it would do the most damage. Part of him just wanted to fight it unarmed and make it easier to go on the defense, but at this point there was no guarantee who it was going to attack, no controlling that. So the best thing he could do was to kill it as fast as possible, then return on the defense for the other two creatures. With the plan firm in his mind Laurentinus swung his sword at the spider, hoping to at the very least force it back so Kara would be safer. Basically Ren: Moved down/right one space directly in front of Kara (1AP) Broadsword Attacked Giant Spider number 3 (6AP) And did nothing else because he is a twat with 8AP and those two moves already cost 7AP
Well I am still interested but still kinda trying to figure out what is going on. I can get Magicks help with that though.
Although Adelina was asking for it, she was still surprised when Zack kissed her. He had one hand in her hair and one at her waist, and suddenly she was right close with his body. Her hands lingered at his side for a moment before one moved up to his chest, pressing hard keeping a small amount of space between her and Zack. She could feel his heart beat, and she liked it. Her hand wrapped around his back. Adelina closed her eyes and enjoyed the moment, kissing him back with soft lips. She had never been in a situation like this before so she wasn't so sure of what to do besides go with it. Her heart felt like it was beating a thousand times a minute. The fuzziness the crowded her mind seemed to fade away to thoughts of only Zack. It felt so right for some reason. She didn't even mind when he pushed her onto her back, though she did have to remove her hand from his back to brace herself. On her back she felt the kiss break, though she wished it hadn't. She opened her eyes at the feeling of Zack's warm fingers on her cheek. "Yeah, it works just fine." She said in a soft voice as she reached out and brushed hair from Zack's face. Just to be loved in a manner as simple as that began to fill Adelina with so much joy. Perhaps it was just because she had too much to drink, but she couldn't hold back tears that began to drip from her eyes. She remained smiling though as she looked up at the man. "Thank you." She whispered before going back for another kiss, this one more gentle and tentative. A simple kiss that lingered for a moment. The moment felt too short but like an eternity all at once as she broke away again, tears still in her eyes. Flame watched as the centaur rode up to her. She looked at him, she wasn't completely familiar with him but her father spoke of the guardian of the wood before, she herself just hadn't seen him. "A letter? Where did that-" Before Flame finished her questioning she watched birds fly by in the distance. Of course that must be how they found out. But apparently nothing had been said about her father. This was curious. Flame made a mental note to talk to Adelina when they returned home. "My father is no longer in this world... he has joined my mother in the lands beyond." Flame explained with a long, sad sigh. Though she reminded herself that she couldn't focus on that yet. "Listen Galadorn, I don't know what the letter said, but we need to clear out these Titans, and quick. We will not be allowed to return home until we do, so ad much as I would like to explain, we must get to work. And Kala... please try to keep it professional." Flame requested. Flame then glanced over at another recent arrival, Veera. "You should really rest more. We will handle this battle. You have done enough for us." Flame told Veera as she placed a hand on Veera's shoulder. This quickly turned to a hug however when Flame realized how truly relieved she was that her friend was alive. "I am glad to have you back. But I really must get to work. Drake is out there fighting titans by himself. I must go help. Please rest." She told her friend before signalling the others to follow her as she took off into the city below. They would fight Titan's but on their way they would take out titans. In the end she wanted to meet up with Drake and help him too. No one was to fight alone.
Rose couldn't do much yet again as she was dragged along towards an escape pod. She was dumped just past the entrance and Carissa walked away. Currently there wasn't much she could do about it, but as soon as she could move that would change. For now she would do what she could, that being laying quietly, watching, listening. People tended to talk when they were too confident, and the Shards generally were that. If she was to get captured, she couldn't return to Jayce empty handed. It was best to make good use of her time imprisoned, or incapacitated as it was at this point in time. Aster rolled a three, so he killed three more people and I am being lazy with posting but I need to bring up his kill count. So you basically don't get a post and me telling you what happened instead. He is also very happily riding his horse around trying to look perfect and majestic as he killed people, but lets face it, he probably looked psycho. Bet Kill Count Carissa: 38 Aster: 32
While standing outside waiting for something to happen, the rest to come out, Shyra to say or do something, the spiders to show themselves, anything really, Tessa approached Laurentinus. She seemed nervous as she went to ask him something. Her words were shaky and she didn't quite get everything she wanted to say out, but between her attempt at talking, and the look in her eyes, Ren knew what she was saying. He placed his hand on her shoulder in a comforting manner as he looked the girl in the eyes. He might have thought that she didn't like him, but that didn't mean he wouldn't protect her. "Don't worry I will be at your side, all of us will be. I would never allow one person to go off on their own in a fight. It is the quickest way to die. We work together and all have each other's backs, we will get out of this fine." Ren told Tessa before removing his hand from her shoulder and turning to look at Conrad who began to speak himself. Conrad had spotted where the spiders were. They certainly were big enough. The observation was followed up by commands, and not half bad commands at that. "Right, I agree. At your ready everyone. We won't have much time before they turn to us at this rate, so there is no time to be dragging your feet." His voice was also slightly commanding. It was apparent preparing for a fight was somewhat in his element, which it was. There wasn't too many battles to be had in the city guard, but that didn't mean he didn't have to go through a ton of training to be ready in case there was. He wasn't much a commander but taking orders and being quick about them, that was something Laurentinus could do. He took his position beside Conrad rather quickly and prepared himself for battle.
Seth wasn't sure what to do. This was a Witcher, they had to leave. However Tessa was freezing and in no condition to move. This was not a good situation for them, but Seth didn't want to show his guilt so instead of protesting he sat down for a moment. "As soon as she warms up a bit, we really should be on our way." Seth told Vec, doing his best to sound completely fine with the situation, but his mind was spinning, thinking about whether or not this particular witcher had heard about what he had done. On top of that if he would eventually make any sort of connection to him just out of the fact he was a doppler. Though as worrisome as this was, there was little he could do about the situation at this point without making it damned obvious he was guilty of something. Aaron stopped his pacing as Veera reentered the hut. He placed his now empty tea cup on the table as he turned towards Veera. "Is everything alright? Did something happen outside?" He asked Veera, slightly concerned. Looking at the woman, she didn't look like she just went outside and had a nice breather. There was something bothering her, that much he was sure. What it was however, he had no clue. "THIS IS HERESY!" Terra shouted. The situation was looking grim enough as it was. However on top of the situation not being able to defeat all the undead, a sharp pain struck her back, and not once but three times. Terra could realize when she had just been stabbed. Her vision quickly started to blur, but despite that she could still catch a glimpse of a figure moving in the shadows, seeming to try to hide again. She could only assume that was who stabbed her, but she had no time to worry about it, not with the noise that was picking up in the ally from Solomon. The loss of blood was taking it's toll on the old mage, her eyes drifting from the necromancer to orphanage. This was not looking good for her. There was little Terra could do for the children now. Everything was going to hell at this point. There wasn't anything more she could do, as much as she hated to admit it. "I am so sorry Eric." She mumbled before opening a portal directly behind her and stepping through it. She didn't bother leaving it open for Zephyr, that was too dangerous. They would follow her if she did that. Zephyr was a mage himself it seemed, so he could get himself out of there, teleport somewhere away from her, where it would be safe. As soon as Terra reached the other side of the portal, she collapsed to the ground. She found herself on the streets of white orchard. She figured a smaller town would be better to teleport to. She just hoped that there would be someone around to help her, and blood continued to soak her back and pain seemed endless. She would have simply healed herself, but the fight had taken so much out of her, she couldn't find the energy or magic to do so. She was stuck relying on the kindness of a stranger at this point.
"Nah, I am fine." Adelina told Zack as she picked up the bottle and had another drink, though she wasn't fine, she had a bit too much, but she was enjoying it. Everything felt like it was going to be fine right now, even though it wasn't. He had also mentioned something about being impressed about getting the wine. "You know I don't think it is that impressive, I just think you are a sneak b*stard. A lovable sneaky b*stard." She said with another giggle. The situation turned slightly more serious when Zack answered her other question. A smile spread across her face as she looked at him. She could see in his eyes that he meant every word he said, and for a moment she couldn't breath. No one had ever looked at her like that. No one had ever really loved her in this way. She spent so much of her life alone, with no family, and little friends and the feeling it was amazing. In the end though her drunken state had a bit more hold over her mind as she looked at Zack. "Then show me." She told him. "Because I love you too, more than anything. I have never felt this way before, and it is amazing. So show me, how much you love me." She said.
Well this whole situation was turning out splendidly. Conrad was being creepy again, getting too close to Kara as well. However at least this time it was clearly in a joking manner. Meanwhile Tessa was complaining about what she was and the fact hawks eat her. Besides that he felt very much ignore. He supposed it was for the best, but it still hurt slightly. Laurentinus turned to look out the window, tuning out everything around him, until the carriage stopped. It was quiet until he heard the driver say something about giant spiders. Well this was annoying but at least something interesting was now happening that didn't involve him being ignored or insulted. Shyra mentioned something suspicious was outside. There was not a chance he was going to let her explore on her own. It didn't matter that she believed herself far stronger and better. No one was to fight alone. Opening the carriage door he stepped out to the road and looked around at the cobwebs. His eyes drifted from the cobwebs to Shyra. "Well this should prove an interesting side quest. Guess now is when you get to decide whether your assumptions on us are correct or not." Bitterness dripped from the mans voice. He was sick of everyone already. This is why he never socialized usually, just going from work to home, day after day.
