Cat looked back at Kaida. She was pretty logical about the whole thing, and logic might do her some good considering recent events. She slowed her pace a bit to keep up with her, letting Glen run off on his own, and heard Kaida start talking to her again. She wondered what she meant by "trusting herself," but that was a personal struggle. Everyone had their demons, and no one else could truly understand their struggles. Not even friends. Still, some people might be worth believing in every now and again. She asked about cooking and Cat looked surprised. "Oh. Well, uh, lots of basic stuff. Some chicken and rice, little bit of pasta. That sort of thing." It seemed out of place to talk about cooking in the middle of a mission, but what harm could it really do?
Of a sort, yes. Not going to go into too much detail, but I had a ridiculous crush about five years ago. It lasted for a year and a half and ended badly. I'd be more inclined to call it puppy love, but it counts either way...

Spoiler As far as I know, the only person she even attempted to kill in the series was Ragyo -- maybe Nui, but I'm not 100% sure on that front -- and that was because of her personal vendetta. She might have blackmailed and beaten up some students, but as far as I can recall, she never killed anyone.

You've been helpful to the town. It's counter-intuitive for a mafioso to be so helpful to his future victims. I could be wrong, and I acknowledge that, but your strategy makes you too big a target imo. If you're not on our side, you chose to take one hell of a risk...

She didn't sound very sure of herself, and that's because she wasn't. Still, socializing might change that a bit.
ngl, I'm biased when I say that I don't believe Jay is mafia. and even if he is, below's right that his strategy would be pretty ineffective. at this point, we need to agree on someone, otherwise it's another freebie for the mafia.
