Gabe sighed, "Oh well, I just hope your family is mellower than the last bits of family I've seen teach, cause my father sure as hell ain't." He grinned and stopped in front of the next class' door, "Who wants to go first?"
Luce grimaced at his words and mumbled, "Well I'm not fond of you." as she climbed into the passenger seat next to him. Her actual thoughts on being in the jeep with Scott were just jumbled flashes of her past. Scott wasn't like the guys on the street but if she tried, she could pick out a few similarites. Meeting everyone else's gaze she rattled off the reassuring words she'd been taught to say, "We'll meet you all back at Griffin's after we're done taking care of these guys." Tapping the tip of her pistol against the dashboard, she gave them a feral smile, "If there are no objections, let's get going Scott. I'm gonna get restless in a few seconds and want to shoot something again."
Penny watched Risit and Eva, her light brown gaze drifting over the others as she closed her eyes, "Zero...I suppose I could rest....for just a bit..." she drifted off into an uneasy sleep. Zero shifted from foot to foot and nodded to his sisters, "Alright then. I'll see you all at dinner alright?" he called over his shoulder. Motion, that's what ran through his mind, he wanted motion. Something in him told him to move and he moved. The further he walked away from his sisters he could hear the peasants' cries. Zero hadn't heard if his brother had come home lately, in fact, he hadn't known where he was all day. His father was keeping things secretive again. Hurrying toward the frantic cries, Zero spotted his brother, his wound made Zero concerned. "Brother? What's happened here? Get him down from there, quickly, would someone call for a doctor!"
Zain's heart hurt, he couldn't breathe. "Cara...Orphan..." Daieko stood behind Yuki, his ice blue eyes focused on Zain, "He'll be fine. Once the initial shock is over, he will be fine and willing to do what you ask and what I ask. Do you understand Yuki?" Eden looked at Rio, her eyes of light stared at him and she pointed her staff at him, "Who is this? Are you a friend of the Dark One?" her tone was mystical but friendly despite her staff near Rio.
Luce growled in her throat and hand her hand through her silver hair, "If the big lug brings someone he likes, he'll never get anything done. She advanced a step toward Scott, "I'll go with you. It'd do me some good for peace and quiet." Luce folded her arms and waited to see if he would refuse her company. Even her own thoughts mocked her, he might refuse her and she'd be made looking like an idiot. Her fingers twitched to play with her hair, but she kept them firmly closed over her arms.
Gabe followed them with his easy smile returned to his face, "So...does anybody have an idea of where we're going?" He may have been spacy but his mind was focused on his still bleeding hand wrapped carefully into a strip of his shirt. He still felt no pain and it was starting to frighten him.
Xone stood, his scythe in hand and nervous red eyes flicking over the place, "Where are we?"
Xenree opened a dark corridor and waved goodbye to them, "There's a meeting, I have to go,but I always see you three when you're sleeping. I'll be back soon." Xigbar had noticed earlier and left the wolf boy. He wondered what Xemnas wanted to talk about enough that he'd call a meeting. Sitting in his seat next to his leader, he rolled his shoulders and glanced up at him.
ooc: ok. bic: The bell rang and Gabe ushered himself out, pressing the cloth to his hand and holding the door open for the girls, "C'mon girls. Let's head on before someone's crazy brother comes back."
Conny nodded feriously, "Yessum, he sure is a good man. Good Cap'n too. You don't gotta worry none, the Cap'n won't do nuttin bad to ya, not in good, uh, conscience, I think that's the word, at least." He glanced behind him toward the docks and nervously shifted from foot to fooot, "Um, not to be rude none. But I better get back to the Cap'n. We'll be setting out soon and I don't wanna be left behind."
Xone braced himself and pulled the Keyblade from Ash. "Are you okay?" Ash smiled and lifted the keyblade in his hand, "I'm alright, my King. As long as I have my keyblade and can still breathe, I'm just fine." Xone and Ash were pulled into the light. Xone's smile at his friend kept him sane as he casted curaga on the hole left in him.
Orphan picked himself up and shuddered until a blinding light crept from underneath his purple crystalline scales. "Destiny has been set in motion. A thousand years ago, Cara, you were born once from the Gods. That pendent you so cherish is one of the Gods'. Like all Persona's Orphan, I and Zalera were given to humanity. Orphan...you must keep your oath to the Gods and go there now." Orphan's snake body curled into a ball and vanished in a ball of darkness. Zain dropped Cara's hand and stared where his Persona had sat, "He...he's gone. Bring him back! Orphan!" Eden looked to Zalera and the seraph of death wrapped Cara into his wings and disappeared. Everyone but Eden and Zain...gone.
Zee grinned, his melancolly from earlier gone, "I'm doing good. Today has been...well it's just fine. Nothing really out of the ordinary." Zane's dream world consisted of his memories. He remembered when his father was killed and then he was taken to Uncle Haru's. "But, Uncle, isn't father coming to get me?" "No boy. I'm afraid he's not. Now come along, we have to get you something so no one else takes you from this place, okay?" "Ok, Uncle." Zane hadn't realized that mark he was getting then was a brand of ownership. He gritted his teeth and shuddered in his sleep as the screams of his younger self echoed in his head.
She stared up at him, "What's going to happen to me?" He looked to Zalera, hoping he could answer her. "She is bound to death and your filthy persona. Cara isn't going to live a normal life anymore because of you Zain." He felt despair unfurl in his heart, "Cara...I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
Zee shrugged, "I know, Mya." he looped his arm around Sasha's waist and pulled her from the room. Zane's eyes flickered open briefly before closing again.
Zee touched his hair and tugged on the fastenings of his shirt, "Sure, sure. Whatever you want to think Mya. Ask him when he's better, he'll hesitate and then you'll know he's lying."
Orphan wrapped himself around Zalera. Cara blinked, her eyes red and puffy, "Zain? Why are you here? This is my house." Zain's eyes widened and he turned in time to watch as things slowed down and Orphan was thrown from Zalera into Cara. Orphan's fangs bit into Cara, covered with Zalera's blood. Zalera shrieked. "Filthy creature! You've bound me to the pitiful girl! What do you think you're doing!" Zain crouched beside her and removed Orphan's fangs from her neck, "Just take it easy, Cara."
Zalera's skulled face couldn't look sorrowful but his voice was, "I'm sorry, Eden, but someone must die here today." Zain froze when he felt a chill creep through his body, "No...I can't. You can't make me die!" he spun around and Orphan launched himself at Zalera, fangs extended...
"Ah, n-no. I'm of the living. Please, Zalera--" "YOU DO NOT SPEAK MY NAME!" Orphan leaped from Zain's shoulders, "Zain, let Eden do the talking." Eden's beautiful voice came from Orphan's mouth and Zain stood still, "Zalera...do not be so cruel to them. Zain and Orphan have given me new life. Zalera, brother, do you not recognize me?" Zalera removed the fog to see them better and Orphan let the shield drop, "Eden. It's so good to hear your voice again, my sister. So these are your new masters now. I see..."
Zain wandered until he saw a figure in front of him. Hurrying forward he noticed it was a girl, "Ah, you haven't seen the Seraph of Death have you?" She looked frightened and pointed behind him. Before Zain could turn, he heard a piercing wail and quickly Orphan covered his ears. The girl shivered and disappeared. "YOU! You who have wandered into my fog, are you not dead?" Zain shivered, Orphan couldn't block out a voice that spoke out loud and into his head.
