Personally, if I am able to rp as characters I like, then I would definitely consider being a part of an rp that lets me do that, which is why crossovers are my favorite kind. Not much of an OC guy though, so I stay away from Original RPs.
Never played Heavy Rain. However, I feel like trying this game out just because William Dafoe's in it (since he is one of my favorite actors).
moved to the playground...
I don't believe in ignoring threads. I believe in destroying the unwanted threads and keeping them dead (unless they're resurrected and handled better, which is what the staff is doing a great job with currently).
Having fun is one thing. But you were really overdoing it with the "No Staff Online, let's party!" threads that they became boring.
too late, the damage has been done. I'd love to see Microsoft attempt to crawl their way out during the next generation
Finally, a reboot of No Staff Online!

~Bar~ Shining Armor was sitting on a table in a bar, trying to drink away the problems he's had today. Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun entered the bar, saw Shining sitting at the table in the corner, and walked towards him... "Captain," Calhoun greeted her fellow JIA official. "Sergeant," Shining Armor greeted the JIA sergeant. "Mind if I join you?" Calhoun asked. "Sure," Shining Armor replied as he signaled the bartender to get a drink for Calhoun, who sat in front of the JIA captain. Once Calhoun's drink arrived, she began to speak, "What a day..." "Ugh, tell me about it," Shining Armor replied. "You were there weren't you? When she gave the go-ahead," Calhoun asked, reminding Shining Armor of what Harriet Jones did during the Abductor invasion. "Unfortunately," Shining Armor replied. "I know it's been a rough day for you Captain, but don't let it get to you," Sergeant Calhoun advised, "How about you take some time off. Spend your time with your family." "Heh, if only it were that easy," Shining Armor replied. "Hmm, how so?" Tamora asked. "Well, I haven't seen my parents in a long time. Same goes for my sister," Shining Armor answered. "And Cadence?" the sergeant continued with her questions. Sighing, Shining Armor said, "I barely see her anymore. That's what you get for being one of the highest ranking generals in the country. Devoting your life to the country you love while sacrificing precious time you get to spend with the ones you love. What about you Sergeant? Any lucky guy in your life?" "Me, nah. I'm not that kind of girl. Romance just isn't my thing," Calhoun replied. "I see," Shining Armor commented. As Sergeant Calhoun finished her drink, she got up and said, "Well, I gotta go. Tomorrow's a big day. Later." The captain simply nodded and waved as she left the bar.
Via Yahoo! Never watched "The Sopranos," but I'm sure he had an impact on many fans of the show. RIP James Gandolfini

~Tokyo International Airport~ Chef Gordon Ramsey got off the same airplane from London that James Potter and Draco Malfoy arrived in. He was still shocked from what happened in Tokyo. He'd been watching BBC News live in the plane, witnessing everything, from the arrival of the Abductors, to the crash. He figured that he won't start his job in Nintendo High until Friday, but he wondered if he would still be able to meet with Al Mualim tomorrow morning. The famous chef boarded a taxi, taking him to a hotel. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spoiler ~Al Mualim's Home~ Al Mualim and his stepson, Harold Saxon, were sitting on a couch late night, watching CNN cover the events that Saxon himself had an indirect involvement in. "This is CNN Breaking News," a voice said on the television. CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer then appeared and began to speak, "Welcome back to CNN, I'm Wolf Blitzer. We're continuing to cover the events that just happened today in downtown Tokyo. To recap, foreign ships began to appear and started abducting female citizens in the city. We are getting reports that about 12% of female citizens in Tokyo are not accounted for, and are assumed to have been abducted. No planetary government has taken any responsibility for what happened. Meanwhile, Japanese Prime Minister Harriet Jones ordered an attack on one of the ships that backfired, and led to a crash at a local diner, with 33 confirmed dead, and 114 injured. Joining me now from the crash site is Anderson Cooper. Anderson, how does it look over there?" The camera switched to Anderson Cooper, reporting near the crash site from earlier in the day. "Hey Wolf. As you can see, all flames from the crash site have been put out. Though, all the rubble is still there, work to remove them is expected to start this week. Right now, citizens are gathering, lighting candles, and placing them around the site, honoring those whose lives were lost," Anderson reported as he pointed to the crash site, with several people holding candles, mourning the people who died, "A memorial is scheduled to take place tomorrow to honor those whose lives were lost. We are not sure if Prime Minister Harriet Jones will make an appearance, as she's being accused of being responsible for what happened in this spot." Wolf Blitzer nodded his head, then began to ask Anderson another question, "Now Anderson, you mentioned that Prime Minister Jones has been receiving a lot of accusations for what happened. How do the people around you view her?" "Well, anger is the dominant mood here when discussing Harriet Jones. This has been a huge blow to her career, which has been dominated by an approval rating of 80+ points. That may not seem to be the case anymore. Let me see if I can find someone to talk to about this," Anderson said, as he started to look around for someone to interview, and he found a man willing to interview... "Evening sir, care to talk for a bit?" Anderson asked Sully. "Yeah, sure," Sully replied. "Alright, and what's your name sir?" Anderson asked. "The name's Sully," Sully answered. "Nice to meet you Sully. Now do you have any relatives that were lost by what happened here today?" Anderson asked. "No, but I thought I'd come here to see this mess myself. And God, I still can't believe my eyes," Sully replied. "Is there anyone you blame specifically for what happened? Like a specific planet, or a certain person?" Anderson Cooper asked. "Heh, if it was up to me, I'd blow every planet with intelligent life-form to smithereens. Because NO ONE does this to Tokyo and gets way with it. But as far someone specific, I blame it all on Harriet Jones. To think, I actually kinda liked her. But after this, killing her own citizens... she's not a Prime Minister, she's a damn tyrant. She should be overthrown and replaced with someone who actually cares for the people. Now I don't trust Cosmos either. That woman is very close to Jones. If there was someone I'd be willing to vote for, it'll be Harold Saxon," Sully commented. "So you think this will heavily influence the election in November?" Anderson Cooper asked. "No doubt about it," Sully replied. "Well thank you for your time Sully. And I am sorry for what happened to your city," Anderson said. "I appreciate it," Sully replied as he left, going back to his car to drive home. Meanwhile, Al Mualim and Harold were enjoying what they were watching. The Crystal Order's plans for November were going as expected...
