Hattori walked beside her.
"It's only a matter of time."
"Makes sense, then." Hattori said before noticing Kyo moving her wings again.
"Why would they want to meet us there?"
"What's on the paper?"
Hattori looked at his watch. "It's getting pretty late, Arisa. We better head back to the inn."
"We'll all take the train back in a couple of days then. I'll take care of your travel expenses."
"I was wondering if you guys would come to Kyoto with us. Dealing with the midnight channel would be a lot easier if we had people that already went through it."
Hattori hung up his phone and put it away.
"We'll be back in a couple of days. Call us if things take a turn for the worse, Teddie."
"Told us what?" "That she's a girl." "And how would you know that, Lucifer?" "Let's just say that her persona is as big of a blabbermouth as I am."
Hattori tickled Kyo as he waited.
Hattori turned the speakerphone on and set his phone on the table.
"Good to know things went smoothly. You want to talk to your friends real quick?"
Hattori's phone rang again. Hattori sighed. "Not again...." He said before checking to see who was calling. "It's Teddie. Probably calling to check up on us and to let us know how things went with that shadow." Hattori answered the phone. "Hello?"
Hattori watched as Kyo stretched her wings a little. "She's already figured out how to move her wings. Kyo's growing up pretty fast."
"I know Kyo is glad we aren't killing machines. If we were, our little angel never would have been born."
"And I was used for project Hellstrider. Arisa had been converted to a killing machine, while I was born as one. We both escaped from that bloody path."
"When I first met her, she had amnesia. Her memory returned over time and we eventually found out the truth about our lives from my late father."
"My life was hell before I met Arisa."
