OOC: Technically, Geryl could have opened a portal to the past, not six years in the future. And, also, Tera Roth practically made sure that no one could touch several worlds, such as the world on which Vexneah's parents live. Bellatrix's homeworld, Midgar, and several other worlds are all completely safe. Anyway, you probably didn't know that happened. Chapter 3 is up!

Enigma looked up. "A dragon? What a pathetic waste." With a slam, he hit a pressure point, and the woman collapsed. Staring up at the dragon, his dark sword appeared in his hand. "The sign of the ultimate Ultima...the dragon of light, Bahamut..." He raised his sword and screamed at the dragon. "Feel the wrath of the dragon king! Endless Ultimagum!" Darkness streamed upwards and hit the dragon full in the chest.... OOC: I had to get my kicks in now, sorry, because I'm leaving right now. Wirdikov nodded at the others, who nodded back to him. "Then we shall go." *** Xardius floated over to the others. Zane sat there, looking tired. "The stone it is," he said. "Do you know where it is?" he asked Zane. Zane shook his head.
Enigma rolled with the blow and came up faster than might be possible. As the lady's leg was shot out from under her, he grabbed her, twisted, and slammed her into the pavement. Snapping her back up, he kneed her in the back, twisted her arms back around her and began swinging, suddenly releasing her into a wall. With another deft movement, he plucked her up and held her suspended in his hands. "Done yet?" he asked impassionately. The battle hadn't fazed him at all. No sweat, no exertion, just the same steady breathing and the emotionless face...
Tera Roth nodded. Wirdikov interjected. "But the problem is: we can't defeat the virus..." Tera Roth turned to him, his mouth opening. Wirdikov raised a hand. "It has had too much time to grow powerful before we came together. Now we cannot hope to defeat it...But hope is a strange thing. It provides ways for us to reveal it." He held up a hand and in it was a small object. "To travel through time is dangerous. Not just because of the appeal to change, but because of the appeal to reapply. We must destroy the Virus in the past, contact our old selves, tell them to join together. Then we will fight the Virus here." He nodded. "Who's with me?" *** Xardius watched Vexneah leave, then he turned and raised a hand. Azull's body burst into flames and then it was gone. "No resurrection," he muttered, twisted, and floated up back towards the village. EDIT OOC: It might.
OOC: Yeah, I know lol. BIC: Enigma suddenly sensed something. With the speed and grace of a veteran warrior, he grabbed the old lady and flipped her over his head, spinning around and pinning her hands behind her back. "You're not who you seem to be," Enigma said, his eyes narrowing.
"Yes," Tera Roth said. "But if we can defeat the Virus, she'll be all right." He put a hand around her shoulders protectively, almost instinctively. Alyt eyed him out of the corner of her eye as she turned to Jet. "Tera wouldn't explain, what do you mean 'infected'?"
"Yes," Tera Roth said simply, folding his arms and looking Jet up and down. Alyt stepped up next to him, staring up at Tera Roth's emotionless face.
OOC: Mugging old ladies now? Geez, this RP is violent. BIC: Enigma raised both eyebrows as Kyria attacked the old lady. What is she thinking?

"Then your allegiance lies with us, at least for now," Wirdikov said. *** Zane snapped his fingers and the Heartless disappeared. Xardius frowned. "Ah, and I was just going to kill them...Wait a sec. New key?" Zane shook his head. "Old one. I have something to tell you all...I am a member of the Brotherhood." Xardius looked between him and the dead Azull. "Um..." "I came into being to destroy them. After they are dead, I will most likely disappear," Zane said quietly. "I infiltrated their organization and planned to destroy them from the inside. Azull was out of the way, he didn't even know I was a member." He shook his head. "But Zaxor will tell them everything, and I won't be able to surprise them again. I was lucky this time. Azull always was an idiot, too wrapped up in his own mystique." "Enough!" Xardius muttered. "Let's just get going if we're done here." He looked around. "This castle gives me the creeps." OOC: Good, I didn't ruin anybody's plans...
Enigma shrugged. "As I told Geryl earlier...I am here to escape a war."

BIC: Zane stared at Azull's body for a moment as the illusion vanished, and he found he was back with the others. *** Tera Roth kept his weapon ready. "In which allegiance do you lie?" OOC: Sorry about killing Azull so early, but I'll let you have another guy, Nulix, someone more...powerful.
"But I do not have the G branded on my palm like the rest of you," Enigma said, his eyebrows furrowing. "I may have power you need, but I am not tied here like the rest of you." He saw Lynn coming, and quickly stopped the rest of his thought... I still have my destiny to fulfill, and this isn't it. He finished in his head.
