Loxie plopped the last strawberry into the blender and turned it on. I'm a pastry chef. Why am I constantly making drinks? shoe thought as she watched the colours start to mix. Oh well, it's not like I have anything better to do right now. The cake is still in the oven. Once the drink was fully mixed, she carefully poured it into a small cup. I got a snow day! But the stupid bus people didn't call me until I was at my bus stop, so I ended up spending a half an hour in the cold...
I personally think the bread thing was more emotional. A district thanking a tribute from a different district for her kindness to their tribute. A riot just breeds bad feelings. A gesture of gratitude is a bit of joy surrounding a tragedy. It also never explained the significance of the three-finger thing.
