My school has its own version of NaNoWriMo called SalNoMo. "Month" is a loose term though because you can submit you story whenever during the year. And, once you reach 50 000+ words, the school has a contract with a publishing company to publish it. Not big time, just a few copies, for the school and the student to have.

They might be similar, but Leo is Sammy's grandson. I suppose if Sammy died before Leo was born, it's possible that Leo is Sammy's reincarnation, but there's no mention of reincarnation in Greek mythology as far as I know (except for Elysium). It's more likely that Esperanza picked up Sammy's mannerisms and behaviours as she grew up and Leo did the same.
Nevada unstrapped herself and walked to the back. She stopped at the edge and checked how far it was to the skyscraper and her angle of descent. Satisfied that she could make it, she leapt our of the plane, aiming for the center of the building below her. Just before landing, she turned on her super speed. She landed as softly as she could, and would still have made some noise if she hadn't run over the area many times, dispeling the soundwaves before they could reach any listening ears. There was no one on the rooftop, but that was no excuse for carelessness.

The fake milk stuff they use sucks, therefore, I dislike the bars. I like certain cereals, like Fruit Loops and Corn Pops, with or without milk, but anything bigger(like Mini Wheats), smaller (like Rice Crispies), or flaky (like Corn Flakes) must be eaten with milk. No exceptions.
I used to write pen and paper exclusively, but due to my teachers being unable to read my writing, I've switched over to computer. I still write ideas on paper, but full stories isn't working when I can barely read my own printing.
