Hannah hung her head. "I'm sorry...." She repeated.
Hannah bit her lip. "O-okay.... I just can't stand to see you hurt...."
"If I had left you alone, you wouldn't have had to run off...." Hannah sobbed.
Hannah put a finger to his lips. "Shh. Vatican City; you were... shot." She tried to smiled, but ended up crying. "I thought I'd lost you. Oh God, I'm sorry Edward. I should have left you alone like you told me. I'm so sorry....""
Hannah stroked Edward's hair. "I should stay with him." She said, feeling oblijied. "It's my fault...."
"That's understandable." Rei sighed and then looked at Becky. "I've gotten closer to you than any of the others.... It'll hurt a lot more if I lose you. Kairuto too."
Hannah nodded, quickly agreeing. As she and Jinx were finding the stable and inn, Hannah caught a scent that stood out among the others. She paused for a moment, trying to figure out what, or who, it was and why it smelled so delicious. For a brief moment, she wanted to leave Edward and find the source of the smell, but that quickly passed and she continued with Jinx, ignoring her questioning look. I'll help Edward first. She decided. Then track down whatever that was.
Rei smirked. "Just don't get in over your head." He said, getting serious.
Hannah nodded, agreeing with Jinx.
OOC: prepare for a time skip! XD (i have to i'm lazy) Hannah got to her feet, her eyes downcast, and shook her head. "I don't think I can...."
Hannah gripped Edward's other hand tightly but gently. I'll never forgive myself if he.... Her thoughts trailed off.
Hannah bit her lip, watching with worry. It's my fault.... I made him leave....
Hannah stayed as close to Edward as she could. "Will he be okay...?" She asked, her voice breaking.
"Edward...." Hannah kept repeating the name, hoping that maybe he'd be okay. Her tears stained her cheeks; a feeling of loneliness coming over her. She kept her hand on Edward, not wanting to let him go in anyway.
"No.... No, Edward, don't do this." Hannah's eyes swarmed with tears. "Please, Edward...." She stroked his cheek, barely aware that Jinx had come.
"Me neither." Hannah murmured, standing up. "I need to be alone for a bit...." She walked off before Jinx could protest. She put a hand to her forehead as she walked. She caught the smell of blood, not bothing to determin if she had a fever or not. She wrinkled her nose. It's not human blood. She thought descisively, but followed the scent anyway. "Oh my God... Edward!" She ran to him, getting on her knees by his side on the slope. "Edward?" The smell of blood starting getting to her. "Jinx! Van Hesling!" She yelled. "Come quick!!"
"I don't." Hannah replied, being warry of how loud she spoke due to Van Helsing. "You can go if you want, but I'm not hungry."
Hannah nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine...." She put a hand to her stomach as it rumbled.
"Yeah, I like you that way." Rei ruffled her hair, his wings spreading from the embrace.
