Hannah bared her fangs, rage builing in her. "Who the hell do you think you are?!"
Beatrice yelped at the pain, her vision blurring and then going black as she passed out. Hannah grinded to a stop when she heard Beatrice. Did she let the deer kick her or something? She sighed and then turned around and headed back to Beatrice.
Beatrice instantly wished she'd brought her sword with her. The look in her holder's eyes sent shivers down her spine, nutralizing the instinct to fight back.
"Jinx taught you well enough that you can do it on your own now, right?" Hannah asked. "I'll be fine." Beatrice assured her. "I'll leave you to it then." Hannah smiled and headed off after a scent she'd caught instantly. Beatrice stood there for a moment, enjoying the quiet of the forest. She sighed and then paid closer attention to the forest noises and smells.
Hannah shook off the memories and sudden wave of emotion. "I'll meet you back here when we're done." She tried to smile but didn't do a very good job. Giving up, she left the carriage to go meet Beatrice and Jinx. "Okay. We'll just come back here then." Beatrice agreed and then left. "Hannah," She went over to her. "Jinx says we should go now. I guess she's going to go by herself later." "That's fine. I think she prefers it alone." Hannah said and then headed off with Beatrice to the forest outlining the town.
Hannah nodded reluctantly. "I used to come here with my mother...." He's not going to enjoy the fact that this newcomer has plans for Hannah. Beatrice and Jinx as well. John said to Lestat. Beatrice joined Jinx in taking the horses to the stables.
I don't think I'll have to do anything tonight. There's someone else following our little group. John sent back. Hannah grinned. "True. I like it that way though." She tweeked his nose.
Hannah tried to keep a straight face but burst out laughing. "You are not fair!" She said between giggles. "Yes, that's it!" Beatrice called back. Good. I'd like to see what this newcomer wants. John thought.
Hannah covered her mouth and shook her head. "I'm done." She promised, her voice muffled by her hands.
"But I am making it harder on you." Hannah insisted.
Hannah hung her head. "Sorry...." Her stomach growled and she quickly clapped her hands over it, flushing from embarrassment.
"I'm making it harder for you?" Hannah felt badly even though Edward had told her it wasn't a bad thing. John smirked at the thoughts of the rider. Does he honestly think he can take on three vampires at once? Not to mention if he tries to hurt Hannah, he'll end up dead.
John hung back to get a closer look at the other horse and rider he'd heard. Seems this group has stalkers. Hannah sighed. "I know. I worry about you though."
"I wouldn't mind it though." Hannah said, trying to make Edward feel better. "Though I am going with Jinx and Beatrice tonight." Bloody idiot. John shook his head and then watched Beatrice. The new ones are always the most entertaining. OOC: NOOOOOOOOOOO! Not the kitty you stupid president!!
John cursed. "Then I'll be right back." He transformed and burst out of the trees, quickly locating the carriages, but staying a fair distance away. Beatrice surpressed a giggled. I think she just wants to be next to him. "You can't glue yourself to me." Hannah smiled, ignoring the rukus outside. I bet he finally fell asleep. OOC: "i'll get you yet, you stupid dog. you won't bark at me after this"
Hannah leaned against Edward so her head was on his shoulder. "You'll want to be alone again... won't you...?" Beatrice smiled. "I guess that won't be so bad." OOC:
"At least, not right now." Hannah got off Edward's lap to sit next to him. Beatrice squeaked when she heard Lestat's voice in her head. "Um, no," She said to Jinx. "I haven't really paid attention though." "Good luck with that." John muttered to Will.
"Oh nothing." Hannah said playfully. "So was that what Lestat was calling 'the Dark Gift'?" Beatrice asked, also speaking her thoughts.
"Oh," Beatrice paused. "Why are there different types of vampires? I thought they were all the same." "I think you're lying." Hannah smiled wryly and then sat on Edward's lap.
"I'll just have to get you when you least expect it." Hannah smikred. "Otherwise I won't have a fair chance." John smoothed his shirt and stood straighter. "I'm not very tired at all," Beatrice repsonded. "It must be all this new blood in my veins keeping me up... why? Are you going to rest or check on someone?"
