Stratos was continuing the fight against the archangel behemoth, Michael. Stratos was thankful for Ana's cura, as that made him all the stronger and more raring to go against this singular heartless. Stratos was starting to feel the adrenaline pump through him again, he was actually really wanting to do this fight. Why? Dunno. He just felt twice as strong and like he could take on twice as many heartless at once right now. This behemoth, guess it was usually just considered twice as great as to what he could take on, because he felt as though not even this archangel behemoth could stop his rampage. That and the fact that there was still Karina who would still basically punch the thing into the wall and break its body in two, given the chance. That girl was a monster in strength, and when she wasn't being depressive, an actually terrifying to watch fighter. So much so that not even Satan, as this was proving, Michael themselves could stand up to her. With their combined might, nothing was going to stop this power duo from bringing down any heartless. Especially since now, it seemed that Karina had the ability to take down twice as many as well.

Okay, so that sort of rambling aside, Stratos still had one bestial angel to take down. It stared at the boy who had started to prove to be quite a thorn in its side. While Stratos could feel the annoyance coming from it towards him, it almost felt like it also harbored some sort of raw hatred. Almost like it had some sort of desire to purge everything that was deemed impure. While Karina was obviously a candidate for this, Stratos himself had started being a candidate as well. And so, with that new found hate, it went to bring him down with a wide variety of skills. Mostly the same as he had been using before. While it started with a protect shell around itself, Stratos instantly shot fire from his hands, not wanting to have to look for a moment later. However, rather than protect, this shell seemed to be different. Where protect was more of a hexagonal dome, this seemed to be something like a smooth dome. Noticing too late, the fireball connected, was absorbed by the shell, and then spat back out. Only the attack itself seemed to be much stronger and bigger. Looking at the now white ball of flame, Stratos realized that this could very well be some sort of Holy Firaga.

Acting fast, Stratos quickly tried his aero strategy that had mitigated the damage from dark firaga, and put his keyblade up to block the attack. While he had managed to avoid any real damage, holy beams were starting to rain from the sky. Stratos had to swiftly dodge roll out of the way, getting past most of the attacks, only to see that there were four holy bolts now seeking after him. Quickly hopping on his keyglider, he started to fly away from the bolts, only for them to collide and become one massive bolt of energy seeking him out. There was no way he'd be able to get it off his tail, as it had started moving faster than he could, and if it connected he would most certainly take a stupid amount of damage. He then pulled his keyblade out from under him and did the only thing he could. With a single slash, the ball was destroyed, and Stratos was safe. As much of an enigma as it was, Stratos was glad to have Zantetsuken. He then followed this up by just flying over to the angel behemoth and bashing on it for a bit, thus ending his turn.

Stratos now had to deal with the behemoth for the third time in a row. Why? Because why not? He had the chance to deal more damage to this thing, and so he was definitely not going to let it pass him up. Plus, the longer this behemoth lived for the more damage it could potentially do to the group. Granted, it wasn't as if he was having trouble with this thing. Well, at least not yet. Seeing as it seemed to pull something new out of its ass at every given moment, just like every other behemoth before hand. Well, the first one was just kind of stronger than the last one, and Derpy the Derpmoth only actually did one thing. It was completely abnormal in just about every sense of the word, but it still only ever did one thing. But the satan behemoth, now that one was a huge irregularity. Doing something new just about every post. Or at least ones from Stratos. What its heat death rays and mastery of all fire magic, not to mention its ability to feed off Karina's negative emotions. That being said, Stratos began to wonder whether or not this heartless was feeding off of his positivity, opposite of its predecessor. Thinking back on things though, Stratos didn't really think of himself as someone who could feed that properly, and he was starting to think that that would make even less sense then the demon one.

All of those thoughts aside, the time for action was now. And Stratos had to hit the thing hard and fast. And so, he got on his keyglider and jet off towards the heartless. The archangel behemoth responded to this by putting up a large dome around itself, automatically wary of any and all attacks that Stratos may be ready to throw at it. So, he didn't and instead waited for the barrier to dissipate. It was then that the heartless decided to start attacking again. Charging up its horn, it fired a single beam into the air and started letting the holy magic rain from the sky, attacking anything that would be unfortunate enough to be hit by it. Due to their telegraphed appearances, Stratos was able to keep up avoiding it, and continued flying around, waiting for his opening. As he did, the heartless then fired off three bolts of holy magic that tracked Stratos down, trying to kill him and sandwich him in. As they converged on him, he managed to swerve around and dodge the attacks, only to then fly towards the behemoth. As the shell dissipated, Stratos knew his time to attack had come.

He started his attack string by hurling his keyglider out from under him, in his similar strike raid-esque fashion, and managed to hit the behemoth's horn. He then proceeded to warp the keyblade back to his hand and started bashing its horn in with his three hit air combo. After that was over and done with, he followed that combo up with a vorpal blitz, imbuing his keyblade with ice and striking at the heartless three times. With the last hit hitting harder than the first two, due to aerial enemy bonus, he then followed that up with another air combo. When that was done, Stratos finished this combo off by firing a chunk of ice out from his keyblade, hitting the behemoth square in the horn. With the combo done, Stratos had felt confident about the fight, only to notice the archangel heartless was glowing more than usual. It then sent out this large pulse of holy energy, knocking Stratos away and hitting him hard into the ground. The attack did a good deal of damage, and he wasn't sure how well he'd be able to hold up, until a cure spell enveloped his body. Once that was done with, Stratos got back on his feet, feeling fully refreshed and giving a thumbs up in the caster's general direction. The magic felt way more powerful then when Karina did it, and he knew just who it belonged to. Once his thanks to Ana was over with, he then went back into the fight.

Okay, so now Stratos was up to bring on the hurt against this behemoth once more. Here went nothing. Or everything. Maybe somewhere in between. Wait, he wouldn't even kill it this round so there was no point thinking of giving it his all. Granted, there was still a point in trying to think of clever and completely unnecessary long ways to bring down this heartless before him. First and foremost, was the most pressing issue at hand. Not to mention observing just what this heartless was capable as well. So far he had seen it use holy, the laser rain. Then there was also protect, the large force field thing that seemed to stop any and all physical attacks. Then there was the single bolt of holy energy that seemed to track down Karina and try and end her existence. Then finally, there was final spark, the giant fuck everything in a general direction laser. No wait, that was both Master Spark and Mugetsu, not really final spark. Nevertheless, it was still a terrifying move, and one that needed to be avoided at any cost. The behemoth seemed to be charging up its horn again, and then let out a sudden burst of energy into the sky, sending down the laser rain once more. Holy seemed to be its go to skill.

Stratos started to dodge roll all over the place once more, to dodge the attacks, and made sure not to get struck down by any of them. He wasn't really sure their actual strength, but anything that was a giant laser seemed pretty lethal to him. It was then that the heartless began to charge up during this laser rain, and fired that holy bolt that followed its target. Stratos had to think fast, and got on his keyglider to fly away from the projectile. However, that was not the end of it, as the behemoth managed to fire off another one directed at Stratos. Quickly swerving to kite away the first one, the second tried to press him in, and so Stratos only had the option of going up. He then saw the area get marked by a faint white light and knew what was to come here. He quickl jumped off of his keyglider, with the area he was just in getting hit by a giant white laser. The two bolts then collided into each other, and Stratos had appeared to be relatively unharmed through out the ordeal, and so was happy for that.

However, the bolts weren't just finished yet. While they had collided with each other, that only turned them into one super holy bolt, and so Stratos was nowhere near out of the frying pan just yet. He quickly started to try and fly away from the bolt, warping the keyglider to beneath his feet and flying away from the attack. With the bolt chasing after him, he thought quickly to do that classic thing where you slam the attack into its creator. As he started to fly towards the behemoth, the behemoth quickly put up another protect shell, most likely meaning Stratos was just going to crash into it and injure himself. And so, he then realized that if it just needed to knock into something, the holy bolt could be lost easily. He quickly used his strike raid-esque move on the bolt, causing a massive explosion from the collision. He then quickly shot out two fire spells from his hands, letting loose two fireballs that homed in on the behemoth, and exploding on its horn. After that, Stratos warped back his keyglider and flew away to safety.

So this heartless was actually pretty ridiculous. He wasn't entire sure what to be expecting from the mighty angelic behemoth heartless, Michael, but what he could do was just observe and use that knowledge in order to attack against the mighty being. There was also the problem of Karina being flung off its back as it took off into the air, and while it did seem to be quite the painful fall, she didn't seem to mind it too much. Joking about how she was some sort of demon that would kill this angel, Karina then jumped after it. It was a good thing that her whole command set was basically tailored towards killing aerial enemies, or else this might have been way more difficult than it was originally planned to be...wait a second, damage didn't matter at all in this fight. In fact, Stratos didn't even technically have to do anything and it would still get injured all the same, so long as he ended up posting that it was indeed getting hurt. Whatever, she just had an aerial command set and that was totally useful for no particular reason, then. Regardless of this mini rant, she still had taken quite the fall, and so he quickly ended up casting cure on her in order to keep her alive.

However, as she had finished her attack set, the archangel heartless started raining down lasers from the sky once more. So, Stratos had to swiftly dodge out of the way in order to not get lasered, and continued observing what the heartless was doing. As it finished its laser rain, it then shot a single, more powerful one, that seemed to track down Karina and tried to kill her. Thankfully she managed to get away from it, but the danger was still real as Stratos had to now go out of his way to attack the thing. As he looked up, the purple hue that had permeated the entirety of the room seemed to dissipate, and thus that meant Stratos couldn't get lucky and get something amazing happen to him. Conversely, it meant that he couldn't get absolutely screwed as he was at the beginning of the entire fight. So, he simply hopped on his keyglider and flew forward towards the giant behemoth heartless, getting ready to take him on with his massive five strength stat, (with a plus two modifier but we don't talk about that.)

As he approached it, he quickly let loose his keyglider in his strike raid-esque attack, only for the heartless to do something that he was not expecting in the slightest. Gathering this energy that surrounded its entire body, the heartless then let loose it all at once, turning it into some sort of large dome that encased him. As the glider came in contact with the barrier, it simply bounced off. Well apparently this thing could cast protect now. Whatever. Stratos then realized that if this thing was going defense his immediate counter would be magic, and so he quickly ignited one of his hands. With a fireball taking shape in his palm, Stratos quickly flung it towards the heartless, and then summoned his keyglider to make he didn't fall to the ground and break something. The fire spell managed to connected with the heartless, however it was still trying to attack even more, with an even more deadly attack. The heartless started to charge its body again, and then Stratos saw a red line go straight through him. The line didn't hurt, no, it was more of an indicator. Fearing the worst to come, Stratos quickly Zantetsukened (using his keyglider) through the behemoth, avoiding the attack. The attack in question was simply just a giant linear laser beam that seemed to carry massive destruction with it. Well that was certainly something to be cautious of.

Stratos was now getting ready to fight more heartless, but first, more questioning. He had no idea what the hell had just happened, actually. Sure, he was aware Zantetsuken was a really strong command, and sure, it was something that could hit multiple targets at once, but he was not expecting that in the slightest. He should, in no way have the strength to bring down that many heartless down, through any means, let alone a single attack. So how was that even possible? He then realized that it was probably due to his new understanding of the Zantetsuken command as a whole. Sure, he didn't feel like he had done anything different, but he had known where to attack, and knowing was apparently half the battle. As if getting a second wind for this fight, he also felt as though he could take on more heartless than ever before in this fight. Why, he had absolutely no idea whatsoever. However, now was not the time to think about why or how things worked, but rather the time for action, and thinking on when necessary to use Command Theory in order to use as a post word buffer.

While he was thinking of how to do such a thing, it was then that his partner in crime here, Karina, went on a tear and killed the last four power wilds on her own. Well that was good. She then went on to attack another behemoth heartless, only for Stratos to realize that she too must poses this new found surge of strength just as he had. Well that was good. If they were both dishing out twice the damage right now, then there was no way that they could lose at this rate. As she attacked the behemoth by hitting its horn a good number of times, the behemoth didn't move at all. And on further inspection, the behemoth wasn't even awake. Looking at the sleeping creature, Stratos wondered just what the hell was with the thing, and just what its gimmick was going to be. As he approached it himself, he figured he'd start attacking the sleeping creature, just to get in as much damage as physically possible before it did wake up. However, when he did get close enough, the heartless's eyes opened in an instant. They started to glow blue and the heartless itself turn pure white, sprouting these glowing white wings and then slowly ascending to the sky. After floating up for a bit, a halo made of pure golden light formed around the behemoth, and thus Stratos realized what was going on. If they had just killed a satanic behemoth, than this one was an angelic one.

As he got ready to attack it, the heartless seemed to give him no quarter, and started charging up its horn with some kind of blue energy. It then released a beam into the air from its horn, which followed with several beams raining down from the sky on both of them. Stratos had also read about this kind of magic before. It was indeed a powerful kind, and one that he was not expecting a heartless to be able to use. This was Holy magic. And so, with the magic trying to kill him, Stratos started to dodge roll away, only to get back on his keyglider and fly straight for the thing. When he got close enough, he jumped off and turned his glider back into a blade, and then proceeded to let loose an air combo followed by a vorpal blitz. After having done that, He fired off a single fire spell, thus ending his turn against this.

Stratos was now getting ready to kill the last of the heartless in his group. As it were, there was only one power wild left that needed to be slayed by Stratos's keyblade. Ah yes, the ending of this chapter in the battle against the monkey heartle- wait there was still the giant mob attacking Karina. Well then, Stratos decided that he shouldn't make this needlessly dramatic. Needlessly complicated, however, was an entirely different story. Furthermore, he still had skill command theory to both think of and make up on the fly. So, how was he going to go about this then? Well, there were many options to this. The easiest way to do it would be to cast a spell. Something like fire or blizzard, hell even mine square, as overkill as it would be, would definitely get the job done against this lone single heartless. There were other options to take as well. Ones like just running up to it and beating it senseless with his bare hands and/or keyblade. Then there was the vorpal blitz command, which had finished its cool down and was now ready and waiting to be used. He could also completely over kill it by waiting for Zantetsuken to go off cool down, and then just use it to one shot the heartless. While this would also help him further his study of zantetsuken, it meant that he would have to wait way too long to kill just one remaining heartless. No, there was one final option that stuck out to him. One greater than the rest in terms of sheer awesomeness and over kill that it could not be measured.

The power wild started to charge at him, and while Stratos had the idea set for what he wanted to have done in this fight, the heartless was too fast in attacking the young wielder mid thought. And so, he had to quickly draw out his keyblade and dodge the first strike of the monkey heartless. With its claws outstretched it started to scratch at him, and so Stratos used his keyblade to block against the oncoming strike and pushed the heartless back. It then came in to leap at him, to which Stratos dodge rolled past it, only to then put up his guard once more as the power wild tried to do a follow up attack, clawing at his back. While Stratos was able to successfully guard against the attack, the desperate monkey heartless clung to the keyblade and did not let go, as it then leaped off of it onto Stratos's back. Sighing at the turn of events, Stratos realized that this power wild was proving difficult to kill, and so he just used a watered down version of what he was originally going to do. With his chest glowing, Stratos pounded the glowing heart of his, and let out a large dome of solar fire around him. The power wild was engulfed immediately, and thus obliterated and killed. Well that was a good use of one bp.

Turning over to the rest of the power wilds that were attacking Karina, he now had the opportunity to completely wipe them out, and thus he went over to help out his teammate. It was then that he felt as though the entire tussle was long enough, so that Zantetsuken was now off cool down. Man these were ambiguous timings. It was then that Stratos took his Iaido stance and noticed the sweet spots on the heartless once more. Focusing all of his energy on those point, Stratos blitzed forward toward a large swarm of the power wilds, and struck all of them at once with Zantetsuken. With that, Stratos killed seven more power wilds...wait where the hell did this sort of strength come from?

Stratos was now ready to take down the last four that stood before him. Sure, he couldn't actually kill all of them, but he could come pretty damn near close to doing so. Alright, so, Stratos had to think about how he was going to approach these four. Now that they had seen his amazing home run hitting skills in action, they were likely not to just let him get away with that again. And so they most likely weren't going to leap at him once more. Bummer, really. This meant that he, too, had to be more cautious in his approach. However, he felt as though Zantetsuken had come off of its cool down, thus meaning it'd be a great opening move to use against them. However, he was still interested in learning more about how Zantetsuken even worked. Or commands in general, as they were pretty damn near mysterious. While some them is just common sense, like strike raid and the such, other ones made your body do physically impossible feats. Not to mention that they could basically interrupt any action you were doing, so long as it wasn't something like being hit. Then there was the fact that they just sort of made your body move on its own, and once you started it up you were locked into using said attack. Then there was the final mystery that was cool downs. Some sort of automatic restriction your body places on itself after a command is used.

So, Stratos decided that these heartless would be best used to test out what made commands so special. He had to try and physically force himself to not actually use them, but still use them at the same time. Perhaps if he tried to start them up, but not actually let his body follow through with the command itself, he could instead mimic the action that way. And so, getting into his familiar Iaido stance, and had the cherry blossom petals floating down from nowhere in general. It was then that Stratos noticed something interesting whilst in this stance. He had never paid much attention before, but during this command one actually gained some sort of passive ability to see the vital points of the heartless. More so than that. It was like he could see a point where if he cut at it, the entire heartless would just sort of fall apart and die. It wasn't at all large, and seemed to have to be done in a precise way, one which a normal attack would never manage to pull off. So that was one secret to Zantetsuken solved.

Stratos was about to attack using the command, however, he had ended up waiting too long, and felt his body basically tell him that the time had passed. The command was now on cool down once more, and Stratos would have to wait a bit longer. Whatever, Stratos had burned enough time just thinking about this that right now, he felt as though he just wanted to be completely reckless in attacking them. Crouching down, Stratos got ready to sprint at the heartless, and then ran straight at them. The power wilds were completely taken off guard at first, and Stratos was able to easily kill one of them solely by running into it and bulling out an assault of strikes, almost as if he was Karina (minus the whole slew of commands thing.) It was then that he turned to the others, and shot one with fire, and beat one over the head with his keyblade a few dozen more times. The last one tripped and hurt itself, thus wasting Stratos's bp and ending his turn.

Man vs monkey (heartless) continued in this weeks exciting edition, pitting our young keyblade wielder, vs more power wielders. That being said, there weren't really that many heartless he could deal with at this point. At the moment, he was more so focused on just figuring Zantetsuken out, but seeing as it was no cool down at this point, he couldn't do that. Maybe learning just what cool downs were would help out too. After Stratos had spike dropped three of the power wilds with the ever so unwilling morning star heartless, Karina came over to kill the morning star in a pretty quick manner. Well that was nice of her. Sort of. He was pretty fond of using it as a weapon at the moment, but whatever, he'd make do without it. It was then that Karina had attracted a large group of heartless onto herself, one that gave him more flashbacks. Flashbacks of when there was a large circle of armored knights, well, circling around him. He continued thinking on it and realized that this had happened twice already. Once with the Zip Slasher and another during the Derpy the Derpmoth saga. Stratos then realized that there must have been something about him that intrinsically pissed off heartless. Probably his writer's boredom.

Anyway, now where there was a crowd of fifteen chasing after Karina, which after mathing a bit, Stratos realized that there were only seven other power wilds that weren't chasing her. While he would actually want to help her at this point, he had his own heartless to fight. Aka the seven that were chasing her who now seemed to want a little piece of the Stratos. However, seeing as she was in need, he wouldn't just leave her high and dry. Due to having been a while since last cast, and due to having some wounds from the ongoing fight, Stratos cast aero and cure for their respective issue on her. After having done that, he turned his attention to the other seven power wilds, he then realized that he just burnt out the mass amount of MP he had just accumulated, and so he was back at zero. Well this was annoying. It was even more annoying when the seven started to hop towards him, trying to claw murder his face off. With the one who seemed to be a bit ahead of the rest, when it had approached Stratos, it leaped at him.

However, unlike the last, this one seemed to move in some sort of zig zag formation as it moved through the air. Stratos had more war flashbacks, ones to that stick wielding bear, and had learned the skills and timing necessary to stop this heartless. Gripping the blade with two hands, Stratos got into a simple batters stance, and swatted the heartless away as it came through the air. With that, the heartless went flying away, and Stratos was completely safe from it. The others not so much. The remaining three had managed to get close, and so when they leaped at him it was a lot harder to deal with. With them being airborne, however, Stratos was able to use Vorpal Blitz on one, having the third hit connect while it was airborne, thus killing the heartless. This did not stop the heartless from intercepting him in midair, however, and so he got knocked to the ground with two monkeys on top of him. The heartless started to jump up and down on the keyblade wielder, acting as if he were some sort of trampoline. Stratos, while in pain from this, wasn't helpless, and managed to cast fire from his hand, blowing up one of them. With that done, he managed to get away from the other one by dodge rolling while on the ground. After that, he summoned his keyblade back and beat the tar out of the heartless, thus ending his round.

Well that's simply because I have nothing better to do during the day(and usually it takes roughly a half hour to write these posts anyway.)

    Also, no, I don't believe I did.

But yeah, it would be nice if people started posting more often because we're nearing like, what, two weeks now on this fight and east side is like, only half way done. Whilst other sides aren't even like a fifth of the way finished. So like, the posts don't have to be 600 words, and any activity is good activity because I for one (and probably everyone else) don't want to see this fight drag on for months.

For the month of July can I vote for DJ or Seiza? No? Uhhhhh, I'll just say Beuce because
    a) He was pretty inquisitive about Elemental Guardians and the like
    b) Managed to show part of his character that wasn't just references
    c) To break the tie between him and ananta because no one votes on these things anyway.

Stratos was now getting ready to try and figure out the secrets of skill commands. Granted, he only knew two of them, and furthermore, they didn't compliment his actually stat build in the slightest. Not to mention this was in the middle of a giant monkey heartless battle, which made this, admittedly, not one of the better times to actually try and figure things out on the fly. But hey, had to keep the fight that could end your life at any moment interesting somehow. As things stood, Stratos was still perplexed by Zantetsuken and its inner workings, and so he decided that that would be a good starting point. As of yet, he only really used it as a sort of finisher or dodge move, but all those times he had only ever hit one target with it. Now, he understood that as the command was, it could still hit multiple things at once in that single strike. Now while he wasn't really trying to see how that worked just yet, he decided to experiment a bit on the heartless that were around. There were three power wilds that seemed to just be standing around, not doing anything because lolnpcs.

Stratos decided to go in and attack the group with his now move of interest, Stratos took his Iaido stance, cherry blossoms falling from the who actually knows where. Focusing on his targets, they were all relatively spread out. Not like miles apart or anything, but still clustered together or all put in one simple line. As such, when the cherry blossoms had finally all fallen to the ground, Stratos had disappeared from his current position, reappearing with his arm outstretched and his keyblade in hand as if he had just struck something. The power wilds didn't seem to notice anything, until a large slash mark appeared on them. What the hell was this command? How was it that he was able to, in seemingly a single strike, attack multiple things of variable distance in seemingly a single moment? Stratos doesn't have the speed to move that fast, hell, no one does. Then there's also the fact that he shouldn't actually have the strength to use this technique as a brute force technique, yet it sometimes works. Looking back to the power wilds, they seemed to have not been felled by the technique, and so Stratos had to improvise on how to deal with them.

Elsewhere, a single green spiky heartless, a morning star, started waddling around. It looked towards its power wild brethren and decided to go observe what they were doing. It gasped at the sight of its brethren fighting none other than keyblade wielders. Oh my, he decided that he should probably help them out through some means. Seeing as there were only two he decided to size them up before attacking. There was first a boy who seemed to have just instantly changed locations and managed to cut whilst doing it. No, too scary. He then looked over to the girl and felt instantly that the boy was the far safer option.

As Stratos continued fighting the heartless, he saw a morning star heartless waddle over to him. Well there was a good out to this rather bad situation. As the morning star approached him, it jumped in the air, only for Stratos to see the familiar giant green triangle on it. Reacting to that, he guarded against the attack of it dropping, and then picked it up while jumping into the air. He then went in to start attacking the heartless by spiking the heartless down into all of them, killing the three power wilds and injuring the morning star in the process.

Stratos now recognized the pickle that he was in, as he had to go in and fight more of the advancing power wild heartless. So, the fact of the matter is that now he recognized just how terrifying these monkey heartless just were. The fact of the matter was that these things were much faster than him, more so than their armored knight buddies, were much stronger and more annoying to fight then the armored knights, and took the exact same amount to kill as the aforementioned heartless. However, the only thing that they didn't have over the armored knights was that there was five less total. That was about it. So he had to think more now, than he did when he was in the large circle of heartless, only to realize that when he was within the large circle of armored knights he didn't even have a plan to begin with. Plus anything he did think of was usually countered almost immediately by a certain deceased behemoth. Nevertheless, this was a challenge he had to overcome at the moment, and he would have to think of something. As things were, he had about no MP to fight against these power wilds, and so he'd have to rely on his raw physical prowess, agility, and quick wit in order to overcome them...okay maybe this was impossible.

So, he started up his attack by running straight at a power wild in an attempt to lure it away from the rest of the group. As he ran up to it, the heartless responded in kind by leaping over Stratos, trying to take him out with various claw swipe attacks. Stratos reacted quickly by turning around and raising up his keyblade to block against the oncoming strikes, only to then realize that he had attracted the attention of three more power wilds. Okay, so definitely not good in this case. He pushed the first attack away, and dodge rolled past him, only to see that the other four were leaping at him in an attempt to circle around him. Dodge rolling before they managed to form a complete circle around them, Stratos had managed to escape that, only to see one jump straight at him. Bringing his keyblade up, he had to react fast. It was then, that he had some sort of flashback, similar to a war flashback. But he wasn't even in this flashback. It was just a yellow bear, wielding a stick, going against various animals. While he didn't know what this was, he managed to pick up and mimic the necessary skills required to beat this challenge.

As if it were a thrall of the pig in that flashback, the power wild came in at a similar speed to that of the pig's attack. Using that timing, he swung the keyblade and managed to sent the power wild back. However, it wasn't far enough away, and thus it didn't amount to much in the slightest. Nevertheless, he now had all four in front of him rather than circling. Stratos had to think of a way to knock them all out at once. However, there was nothing in his arsenal that could do that...or was there?

This entire time he had been using Zantetsuken, he realized that it was getting more ridiculous with each use. However, he believed he was starting to understand why. Zantetsuken was an incredibly complex technique when looked from an objective standpoint. Where the user speeds himself up so fast that time seems to slow down, and let out and extrodinarily powerful hit. By what made that hit special? What made Zantetsuken so powerful? Stratos was convinced that there was more to the technique than he had been previously been lead to believe when he learned it from Gilgamesh. The way he understood commands at this point was that they weren't so much the person doing an action, but rather, their body completely mimicking an action that was imprinted on to it. So if that were the case, Gilgamesh probably just taught them how to use it at its most basic level. As a really strong hit. As such, Stratos started to think on how he could manually use it, but was interrupted as his body glowed purple once more, and lightning arced off of it, zapping all the heartless dead. Well that was convenient.

So Stratos was kind of screwed right now. If not for the fact that he was only capable of killing three of the entire mass at any given moment, then probably more so because...he was fighting an entire mass of heartless that just sort of circled around him. Okay, so this was not one of the greater plans that he had come up with. In fact, you could even call it one of his dumbest. Yeah, this was really bad. He was looking around at the rather hopeless situation he had been put in at first, and then something came in like a wrecking bull- er, wrecking ball. And low behold, it was again, Karina. Damn, that girl blasting her way through these heartless was really helpful to him right now. It was a good thing that he could at least believe in one of his three immediate team mates, otherwise, the young wielder might have already been dead from all of this. However, as things stood, he was totally in the clear and was totally ready to bring down any and all heartless that were in his general vicinity. Or ya know, three of them because lol BP.

He started to charge at the heartless, only to realize how bad of an idea this actually was, and started running back away from them. Alright, so now he had a bit more than he could chew after him. It also didn't help that they were faster and more agile than he was. One of these days he would get some points in willpower...unfortunately, today was not that day. Stratos also didn't have nearly enough time to go and use his keyglider to retreat away from these heartless, but he did it anyway. Making the keyglider and hopping on it he continued to fly a bit away from them. It was then that one latched itself onto his keyglider, and started trying to claw its way up the board. However, this threw the boy off balance and the both of them fell. As Stratos got up, he kicked the power wild, trying to prevent it from doing anything, only to realize that his strength was still pretty low. Oh god. All the kick managed to do was annoy the power wild, and thus it started to leap towards the keyblade wielder and swipe at his face. However, Stratos had managed to pull up his keyblade and guard just in time to block against the swipe.

To release his own counterattack, he let out a vorpal bltiz, hitting the monkey heartless with a three hit combo imbued with ice. As the third hit struck the heartless, it finally died, evaporating into black smoke with a single heart floating into the air. Letting out a sigh of relief, his brief respite was interrupted by a power wild jumping on his back and trying to unleash fury swipes on his face. Running around like a lunatic, Stratos tried to pull the monkey off, but to no avail. Taking drastic measures, he quickly cast fire, with the resulting explosion killing the heartless and knocking the boy down. Okay. That hurt too. However, casting cure now, he felt right as rain (not the person.) Next up was the last heartless he could kill this round. This power wild was charging at him, claws at the ready. However, Stratos held out his hand, caught the heartless's head as it charged, and then just kept it there as the heartless tried to approach him. After that classic sitcom antic, Stratos went in to beat it down with various basic combo attacks, only to whack two more power wilds away, only managing to damage them.

Stratos just sort of stared upwards as all of the monkey heartless things started to fall down towards him, and realized that he was in for the worst dog pile (and maybe even the pillow fight) of his life. They were all just going land on him and there wasn't much he could really do about it at the moment. It's moments like these that make a person think. Makes them reflect on themselves and think about just what they had done in their life, and what they had done to get to this point. As he started to doubt himself once more, it was then that he felt something more akin to a bull than a monkey shove into him and push him all the way out of the massive horde of dropping power wilds. After getting tossed out looking up, he realized it definitely wasn't a bull. No. It was a Karina- er, it was Karina! He felt pretty happy about the fact that she had managed to take down that behemoth in the end, and the fact that neither weren't dead right now was really good. However, the next problem here was that they were facing down a small army of monkeys. And neither of them were in top physical form, however his body did feel better after getting cure spelled from Karina. She then went on a whole thing about how she wasn't going to give up fighting just yet. How she was still in this, and how Stratos didn't need to worry about her, and instead worry about the heartless.

He sighed at that comment and then looked to the heartless monkeys that seemed ready and willing to tear the both of them apart. Without turning to face her he said, "now now, I said that in this fight I would definitely worry about you. It's just because if someone doesn't, then you'll just end up getting yourself killed. You'd push yourself too hard and wouldn't be able to think through anything in a calm manner. So someone needs to support you in a fight no matter your protests." He then twirled his keyblade in the air and with a faint green light emanating from it, cast cure on the injured girl. "Besides, worrying about you, and worrying about the heartless. Well they aren't exactly the hardest thing to multi-task." With that, he started to think about how he could actually take on these power wilds.

Okay, so there was one of him, and fifty- er, forty eight, of them. So, what was the best strategy in this case? He couldn't really just pick them off one at a time like he was originally doing with the armored knights, as they were all in a group. And he didn't think drawing all of their aggro on him at once would be the greatest of ideas either. So what was a keyblade wielder to do in this situation? Why of course, jump on your keyglider fly past all of them while the entire horde of them jumped at you, latched on and clawed your eyes ou- okay that was a bad plan too. Maybe there really wasn't a good plan in this case. If that were true, then maybe just straight one v forty eight fighting would have to do. As such, he started to run head long at them as they started to charge at him. The first of them jumped at him, only to get slapped by the keyblade. The second one to jump at him got hit by a vorpal blitz and the third died to a simple fire spell. With that done, a fourth one just magically died and we will never learn how. After he had done all the bp he could do, he got on his keyglider and started to retreat a tad so that all of them wouldn't converge on him at once.

Stratos stood there and listened to Karina yell at him in sheer anger and anxiety, basically telling him that his advice was completely pointless and that this was all happening because she just couldn't keep her emotions in check. Stratos didn't really know much about having an overflow of an emotion that made you fight like a mad man, so he couldn't really empathize, but thinking on it, he didn't think it would actually be something so easy to overcome. So, he resigned himself to the fact that Karina was just going to continue recklessly attack and there wasn't much that he could do about that. Though, despite her yelling him to leave her....she kind of left first. So he just sort of sat on Dumbo as she rushed at the behemoth. Though this time, she seemed to actually have a plan behind what she was doing. While Stratos was a bit unsure of hitting Karina with Dumbo's super high pressured jets of water, she did make a point that it was probably going to be ultimately better than just passing out from heat fatigue right next to the thing. Granted, not staying in there and getting in a few quick hits and then getting out instead would be better, but whatever, this would still probably work out regardless.

So, as Karina went on her grand rampage to attack the behemoth with all of her various attacks, Stratos directed Dumbo to continue hitting her with the jets of water, having an inordinate amount of steam rise off of her each time she was hit by one. It was actually starting to become difficult to hit Karina the longer she stayed in there, simply because the steam caused by each jet was starting to obscure their vision. However, it all seemed to work out for the best, relatively, when Karina did indeed manage to get out of their in time and not die from heat stroke. So now it was Stratos's turn, and he had to take this behemoth on with just about everything he had at this point. However, the behemoth was thinking the same about Stratos and Dumbo. As such, it started firing heat death rays at the pair, and so Dumbo had to swiftly fly and swerve all over the place in order to not get killed. It then charged a flame orb in its mouth once more, and fired it at the two. Recognizing it as Firaza, Stratos knew that Dumbo couldn't get rid of it, and so he had to rely on his own strength to get rid of the fireball. Taking his Iaido stance on Dumbo, and stood there as the cherry blossoms began to fall once more.

Once it had come close enough, Stratos then cleaved at seemingly nothing, using Zantetsuken to split the firaza in two once more and rendering it harmless. As he had been doing that, the behemoth charged up another firaga burst, and let it loose on the pair again. Commanding Dumbo to use Rapid Fire once more, the two forces of water and fire collided in mid air to continuously produce a large amount of steam, enveloping the area between the two. Dumbo then fired a jet of water that was to hit the behemoth dead on, only to see that there was a dark firaga coming straight for them. This was bad. Dumbo was still recovering and a simple blizzard spell wouldn't cut it. Thinking fast, Stratos cast Aero, not on either of the two, but on the fireball itself. Furthermore, the barrier didn't move along with its wearer like it usually would. Because of this, the dark firaga collided with the aero shield, causing the large majority of the force behind the attack to be absorbed and only for the pair to be hit by a fraction of its power. Granted this was still a good amount, and the two ended up tumbling away, both in pain. However, seeing that Dumbo was worse for wear, he quickly dismissed the summon so it didn't have to do any more here saying, "you did good buddy." Picking himself up, he gave a thumbs up to Karina saying "don't worry, I'm fine. This thing's on its last legs so don't worry about it, you'll totally kick this thing's ass." Turning around he saw that there was a lone power wild just standing about, and so he thought he'd just get a head start on taking out the next group of enemies. However, as he approached it, he looked up and saw that literally every other power wild was waiting in ambush on the ceiling. "Oh you have got to be fu-" and then they dropped.

Now it was time for Stratos to go on some sort of offensive against the behemoth once more. Especially now that he had his trusty flying elephant steed that could fire out jets of water that exploded on contact. Okay, so that ended up sounding way weirder than he initially thought, and looking down at his faithful steed, he was actually just what the story was with Dumbo. While he could have tried to ask the elephant, he felt that it wouldn't really give him any sort of answers as it didn't seem to be the talker. Plus now wasn't the time to have delightful ruminations about one's backstory. He also could have totally checked the wiki entry on Pachyderm Parade, but it was also not the greatest time to read some something like that. Anyway, he had to go back in and start fighting the satanic behemoth once more, so that he may actually kill it before it fed off of all of Karina's angst/depression/anger. However, at this point he wasn't positioned well enough to hit it with the long range artillery strikes of Dumbo, and so he had to start circling around to get a good lock on its horn.

As he started flying in an arc formation to circle around the behemoth, he heard Karina yell to him to stay back. She was apparently back in this fight once more, but Stratos felt as though that might not have been the best thing. While she would normally be a welcome ally against just about anything, something that used her as a fuel source seemed a bit counter intuitive to fight alongside her. Especially if she was going to be sluggishly depressed. However, as he watched her charge forward, she seemed to actually not have that sort of mindset anymore. As he watched her pummel down on the behemoth, he realized that something arguably worse was going on. She was attacking it in blind fury, and didn't seem to have any sort of rhyme or reason to her attacks. Sure, she had been nothing but brute strength before, but this time it seemed to be something even more savage than that. Thankfully she still managed to back off from it before the heat it exuded managed to knock her out, but that was still pretty bad of her. While he had something to say to her, attacking this behemoth came first.

Stratos and Dumbo had managed to completely circle around and were staring the behemoth down now. However, the behemoth didn't seem to feel like dealing with the nuisance that Stratos had become, and instead let out another new attack that was terrifyingly strong. Charging up flames within its mouth, the satanic behemoth managed to create a giant orb of flame. It then swallowed the flame orb and then started rapid firing firagas from its mouth. He tried to recall what this was, and then remembered that it was an odd spell known as Firaga Burst. He had to act fast or else he would be nothing but dust soon. He quickly shouted "FIRE FULL AUTO!" and Dumbo seemed to respond by rapid firing water bolts from its trunk, each one being aimed towards a firaga. As the bolts and fireballs connected, they both exploded into steam on impact, and at the end of it, everyone was alright. He then ordered another artillery strike from Dumbo, hitting the satanic behemoth with a single large water bolt, directly on the horn to deal massive damage. Success. With that done, he flew over to Karina and said, "alright listen, it's great that you have your fight back, but don't just blindly attack that thing. The more you fight it, the stronger it gets, which means each time you go in it'll be hotter than before and you'll wear out faster. That will make your window of opportunity to deal damage smaller. So in order to counteract this, think about all of your moves before you charge in, because if you pass out next to the thing, there's not much anyone can do to help you at that point."

Alright, NOW, was the time for Stratos to enact his grand master plan to beating the satanic behemoth. He finally had enough MP to pull off this grand trick of his, and he was finally at low enough words where he could use it as filler. However, the satanic behemoth seemed to have other ideas. Stratos wasn't exactly too far away from the thing, and he had managed to annoy it enough to the point where it actually started taking notice of him. His overall focus was still on Karina, however, and Stratos just seemed to be nothing more than a little speed bump in that road. So, the behemoth started walking a bit towards Stratos, letting out the rings of fire every which way it stepped. Obviously he had to book it, but at this point, his body was sweating so much from the surrounding heat that he actually needed something to drink. If his body could just hold out a bit longer. He started to sluggishly run away from the behemoth, as its horn started to glow red once more. Stratos quickly shifted his blade into a glider and flew away from the thing, avoiding the heat death rays that were firing from its horn.

Having successfully evaded that attack, Stratos took the opportunity to fly a good deal away from it, creating quite the gap in distance between the two. While the satanic behemoth seemed to still want to laser and burn the boy to death, it seemed to not care too much anymore and went back to its usually scheduled programs of walking towards Karina. Now that Stratos actually had a bit of time to get himself recomposed, he knew that this would be the perefect opportunity to start up his plan. And he had to do it fast, lest the satanic behemoth start growing even stronger whilst chasing Karina. So, he started to channel all of his mp together and held his hand over his heart. His heart began to glow, and when Stratos's hand removed itself from his chest, there in his palm was this ocean blue orb. He then slammed the orb onto the keyblade and then thrust the blade into the air. The tip then started to glow as a giant keyhole appeared from underneath Stratos's feet, glowing the same color as the keyblade. After twirling it around a bit, he then stabbed the keyhole with his keyblade and then turned the blade, making some sort of unlocking noise in the process.

The keyhole then erupted it a large blue light, spewing out geysers of water and creating a whirlpool of bubbles around the keyblade wielder. Stratos then looked to see that the spell he used had worked. Seeing a cheerful little elephant with oddly gigantic ears, Stratos said, "alright! It worked! Now then, how about you and me go take us down a heartless." Dumbo nodded its head and the two were going to go off and take them down a fiery heartless. Stratos had learned this summon simply from imitation, seeing Beuce use (or at least attempt to multiple times) it during the fight against Mim, and so Stratos simply tried to recall how it happened and simply imitated it. He also figured that it would work wonder against the heartless, being a being who used water based attacks an all. So Stratos quickly hopped on the elephants back and flew off, with the elephant using its massive ears as wings. Stratos then pointed at the heartless like he was some sort of war commander and shouted, "FIRE!" Dumbo complied and fired a massive artillery jet of water at the behemoth, creating a huge splash upon impact.

So it was Stratos's turn to take on the satanic behemoth on once more. Or rather, it was his turn twice in a row. Which was fine with the young keyblade wielder because hey, that just meant that Karina didn't have another turn for the Satan Behemoth to feed off of its anger/depression/angst fuel that was the female keyblader. And so with that, he went in to go and pull off another string of attacks against the heartless. He was pretty close to filling the mp gap that he had created when he was busy using his near infinite pool of mp. However, now realizing that mp was a thing once again, he had to do his best in order to actually fill it back up. And so he still needed to get in close and use his wimpy ass physical attacks in order to build up some more of it. Flying forward towards the behemoth, quickly had to swerve to the side as the beasty was having none of his shit anymore. The horn had already begun glowing red, heat energy gathering within, and then it launched out its heat death rays directed towards Stratos. Having to swerve a bit out of the way, he felt the heat emanating off of the rays, causing him to persperate more. This was bad, he was already starting to lose energy from the heat, so he had to wrap this up fast.

Starting to fly forward towards the behemoth, he let it out from under his feet, and threw it towards it using his strike raid-esque technique. After that had managed to hit, the behemoth seemed to be charging up its heat death rays again, and so he had to back off quickly. Flying as fast as possible away from the thing, it let loose more death rays towards Stratos. However, while he might have been getting sluggish from the heat, the lasers weren't actually fast or frequent enough to pose a truth threat to him, so as he had swerved past them, he quickly doubled back and flew straight towards the satanic behemoth once more. As he approached it, he quickly jumped off of his keyglider and summoned it back into his hands, bringing the keyblade down on the heartless's horn, following up by swiping his blade across it once more. As he managed to finish off his combo, feeling sluggish from the heat, Stratos quickly backed off and started to cool down a bit.

However, the satanic behemoth didn't seem like it wanted to give him any sort of breathing room whatsoever. Instead, it seemed to charge up a giant flame orb in its mouth. He could see the orb coming at him, and didn't have any sort of time to preform the spell that needed to be done in order for his plan to work. Seeing the orb he also realized that this behemoth was growing stronger. This definitely wasn't firaga anymore, no way. It was definitely firaza. With the charge complete, the large ass fireball was now hurtling towards Stratos and he knew that this would be the end if it hit. Wait a second. He started to think of an attack he had been using, and how the more he used it, the more ridiculous it seemed to become. And so, maybe it would work on this too. With cherry blossoms falling from the sky, Stratos quickly got back into his Iaido stance, and then, without moving, sliced his keyblade at the fireball. With that, the fabric of space time seemed to tear once more from the attack, and with it, the fireball was split in two as well. Having done something that awesome, that Stratos didn't even know how he did that, he felt that he was good for this round and would continue his plan next turn up.
