The attention that Base had drawn to himself with the dinosaur was now very much so directed at Stratos. It seemed to be none too happy that he had cast what Stratos was only assuming was blizzara having hit him straight in the face. Letting out another large roar towards Stratos's general direction, it started to charge at the boy, and he decided to see what else he could try and do. Thinking on a defensive option he tried to cast aerora. However, the only wind that was generated by his keyblade was the kind that came purely from the act of moving it. Well that was disappointing. Regardless, it was now time for him to book it, and so he summoned his keyglider, stepped on board, and rocketed off right as the T-Rex started charging at him. And so, Stratos was now keeping distance from the reptilian beast while awaiting someone else to take the aggro for him. However, while he was doing this, he figured it was now a good time to assess just what was going on with his skill set. He was barred from using any sort of physical skill command, and not even aero was responding. Looking down he realized now that he actually had looked different from the usual. He then realized that this might have been something similar to what had happened with around five people during the battle of one thousand heartless. They had all seemed to gain different attributes, such as increased strength or vitality, or even the ability to summon two keyblades at once. Though all had seemed to come with their own form of restriction as well. So clearly what he was in right now seemed to be more offensive magically oriented. While he was thinking of this, he realized the T-Rex had ended up catching up with him. As he noticed this, Beuce had managed to come in and intercept the foe. There was something odd about him. Rather, Beuce had seemed angered by this creature for some reason. Maybe he just wasn't a fan of dinosaurs. Stratos could sympathize with that. After all they were just giant plain old lizar- oh my god it was breathing fire. Stratos watched on as a jet of flame left the creatures mouth and both it and Beuce had been intermingled in a battle of nature's opposing elements. Beuce with water and the giant dinosaur with fire. After that, he ran straight towards the giant lizard attempting to attack it once more. Stratos decided, now that the clash was over and done with, to go in and assist the man. Flying in as fast as he could the beast opened up with another blast of fire, which Stratos was more than ready to deal with. Jumping off his keyglider, Stratos summoned his keyblade and fired off his blizzara spell straight at the giant fireball, causing the two to neutralize out into a explosion of steam. Still in mid air, Stratos had summoned his blade back as a glider underneath his feet as flew in for the assist. Throwing his keyglider at the beast, it struck it in the chest, only for Stratos to continue to be propelled by the forward momentum he had kept, and summoned his keyblade back as he went in for a slash on the chest this time. Bouncing off the T-Rex, he stood firm as the beast let out another roar and charged at them. There wasn't enough time to get away from the charge and he knew it was going to hurt if the charge connected. And so, without thinking, Stratos waved his keyblade in front of him yelling, "bind!" After it, magic chains seemed to wrap around the beast before becoming melding into the T-Rex, as if they were tattoos. With that done, the dinosaur couldn't seem to move at all, just sort of stuck in place, and Stratos was left there with a simple, "huh." 661 Words, 30 EXP Total: 90 EXP T-Rex: 137/250
Both the keyblade wielder and the T-Rex were now locked in an endless dance of battle and finesse. And giant sword rocket boards and prehistoric might. Now in this waltz, Stratos continued zooming around in a zig zag formation in order to get the dinosaur to trip or slow down or stumble or something of the like. But all that had actually happened was that it continued to run straight towards him not giving a **** for his tactics. Well damn, that threw a monkey wrench into his plans. Putting his down, hard, on the back of his keyglider, he the back go down and start to skid across the ground. With sparks erupting from the glider, he started to slow down as the friction was was providing resistance against his forward progression, but he used this to his advantage and did a sharp near ninety degree turn. Lowering the pressure released from his foot, the back of the board had started to lift off the ground and Stratos was able to zoom off in style and safety. The T-Rex, being thoroughly annoyed about this, let out another roar and started to turn its direction as it picked up the pace. It was as he was flying away from this behemoth sized monster that Base had appeared and joined the fray on their antics of making prehistoric creatures go extinct. Each time Base had landed an attack against the creature he realized that there was a resounding crash sound that played alongside it. Well that was certainly interesting. He wondered if there was a sound like that when he had crashed into it earlier. Though the thoughts were soon shaken off as he continued to watch Base tangle with the creature. It had appeared to be just trying to bite at him and nothing sort of strange was going on just yet. He was sure it was probably going to do some magical thing later on in the fight, but for now, it was just an ordinary giant dinosaur. After a few more hits, the creature had continued to try to eat Base, but Base didn't seem to have any more energy in attacking. Well this was where tag teaming came into play. Facing the giant dinosaur, Stratos turned his keyglider into a keyblade and went in to try some sort of physical command attack. As he brought the keyblade to his side he started to charge up an attack. However something was weird. There were no cherry blossoms falling, time didn't seem to stand still at all and he didn't blink through the beast with a super powerful slash. Huh. As it were, apparently Zantetsuken wasn't working in the slightest, and Stratos just sort of fell to the ground and hit it with a hard thud. Well that was painful. Standing back up, he tried to use vorpal blitz just to confirm something and realized that that wasn't working either. It seemed that the only two physical commands he knew weren't actually working at the moment, which was a bit of a problem. Ah well. Pointing his keyblade, spellbinder, he charged up a blizzard spell. The cold energy was building up on the keyblade, though it seemed to be colder and brighter then usual. As he fired off the spell, the regular chunk of ice that was there seemed to be replaced by a much faster and larger one that hit the dinosaur square in the face, with a sound affect of symbols crashing taking place while it happened. Well that was handy. He had no idea why, but his magic seemed to be all the more powerful and he wasn't going to complain about that. 617 Words, 30 EXP Total: 60 EXP T-Rex: 183/250
After having been discussing about what they would do, Zephine was glad that everyone wanted to go along with her plan to go look for some info on both the king and the guild that they were in. However, as they discussed this, the girl, Lucy had overheard them and decided to go fill them in on what was what with the world. So apparently the king was some sort of dude who just sort of siphoned magic and lived in luxury and oppressed the people hardcore here. Man, what a ******. Unless of course this girl was lying, but there was no absolutely no way that would happen. As she was about to say her thanks to this Lucy girl, it was interrupted by a resounding boom. As the group hurried to the source of this boom, they saw someone how possessed an orb quite like their own. After her saying something about how she was trying to take their orbs Zephine could only say, "well damn. Didn't take long at all for us to find a rival force trying to work against us, did it?" Soon after, the orb had produced these fifty or so flaming demons that looked hungry to fight them. With a smile on her face and a spring in her step, Zephine summoned her orb before saying, "well then. How's about we give them a warm welcome." With a slight chuckle her orb soon shifted forms back into the shape of a scythe. Holding the weapon so that the blade was behind her, Zephine took straight off after these "umbras of fire." One charged straight at her, though Zephine quickly side stepped the charge, and the demon ended up with its head getting caught on her blade and effectively decaptitating itself. The demons then continued to charge at her, only for her to react by stopping, spinning her scythe around and striking at one. The blade lodging itself into the gut of one of the demons, she quickly brought her scythe around and slammed both the blade and the demon into a third one. It was then that she felt heat radiating from behind her, only to notice that one had managed to sneak up on her during this time. Ducking from underneath the claw swipe, she quickly thrust her weapon backward, hitting the demon with the but of her scythe, and then kicked off of it jumping backwards. After landing, she quickly brought the scythe blade around and with a mighty swing decapitated another of them. OOC: 4/50 enemies defeated
After having been thoroughly thrashed by the arcane being and his ability to just produce large amounts of magical energy in a short amount of time, Lucia had fallen to the ground, her entire body singed. Everything had gone black for a few moments there, and just the feeling of failure and pain was left with the girl in her unconscious mind. However, this feeling had only remained for a short while. Soon enough, she was felt completely revitalized, almost as if all the damage had been completely removed from her. Opening her eyes, and slowly picking herself up, she had noticed that she was perfectly find and the enemy before them had changed. No longer was it this person who seemed to just not even have a physical form to some blonde haired dude with blue lines across his body. What had happened? As she heard Evanora give the call to action to them, she had realized what had happened. She had, most likely healed the entire guild back up to full, and had done something to make Ezekiel human again. Whoa. Just how strong was there guild master? Shaking these thoughts off of her mind, she started to get down to try and get running start, to bolt off at full speed, knives in hand. As he she charged at the man, did a quick leap at him and let her knives fly free at their target. Lucia used quick blitz.
After everyone had made their way out of the book, Stratos turned around to observe the state that everyone else was in...and apparently both Beuce and Glen were floored into some complete state of shock over something, Glen so much that he had started drinking something that he pulled out of nowhere. Wait a second, bottled liquids that could be pulled out of some pocket dimension. There was something Stratos seemed to be forgetting about those kinds of things. As he looked back at Beuce a realization was starting to dawn on him, only for his train of thought to be quickly cut off by Kaida emerging from the book, being soaking wet and apparently freezing from whatever escapades that she had been through within that fancy musical world. He wondered what kind of adventures everyone else had gone on, though these thoughts were cut short by Base emerging from the portal as well. However, while he started to speak to everyone about his own journey, suddenly the pieces that everyone had collected through the book world shenanigans had all flown from them and come together in an explosion of musical goodness, causing the pieces to form into one solid note. Two down and five more to go. As Mickey had confirmed this for them, he opened up a new portal that just sort of enveloped them all in a blinding light, and transported them all to another dimension, quite like the first book had. Within this world, background music was playing quite like it had been in the last world they were in. Only this one was quite different from the last, both musically and atmospherically. They appeared to be in a barren canyon like area, filled to the brim with dinosaurs. There in that canyon was a T-Rex fighting down a stegosaurus with others of the reptilian titans just bystanding and watching the fight happen. This was like what he learned about when it came to bullying in school. Regardless of that, the T-Rex was able to easily overcome the stegosaurus and ended up killing it without much of a fight. While the scene was horrifying, they still had a mission to attend to and that was finding the magical note piece. Now where could that be? Scanning around the area, he wasn't quite sure where to look until he saw a strange gleam coming from the T-Rex's eye. Well, target sighted. While he didn't feel like he could actually speak here, for whatever reason, he motioned to the group and pointed at the T-Rex, as if telling them that was their objective. Now, Stratos had absolutely no experience in hunting down dinosaurs. In fact, he was pretty sure his world didn't even have dinosaurs. So how did he know what this creature was? Heck if he knew. But what he did have experience in dealing with was a being of seemingly equal ferocity and size. And that was none other than, the behemoths. And how does one kill a behemoth? Well you hit a lot that's how. So he figured the same idea would hold true for this creature as well, and decided to start his assault on it. Getting on his keyblade glider, he took off, flying at full speed towards the beast, and then crashed the glider straight into the back of its head to just get its attention. The beast seemed to be angered by this action, understandably so, and let out a soundless roar at the keyblade wielder. Having fallen onto the ground as a result of his action, Stratos quickly got up and took off on his keyglider to distract the beast, opening up for other people to attack him. 619 Words, 30 Exp Total: 30 EXP T-Rex: 228/250
Library JUSTICE Stratos As Lucien had continued reading his book it had seemed that Anadi had brought up a question as to what he was doing."Well Seafoam, these are all books. As for why I'm reading these books, it's because I'm completely bored and trying to burn time while we wait for Team mostly Glen and Team Steve Irwin Avengers to get back here...and I guess my team as well."As he continued to read on, he threw the book back into the pile and picked up another one as he continued reading on. "However, I'm also looking for the next part of the legend for us to follow on this wild goose chase. After all, maybe this time we can narrow the searchable locations down from three dimensions to one." After she left, he just gave an acknowledging nod. As Anadi walked over to Blanc, he listened to her speak about how he didn't need to teach her anymore, and so he just sort of shrugged at it. With a simple "okay," and not taking her facial expression into consideration in the slightest, he went to go look at the books as well. Only to realize that he had no idea why Lucien would think any of these would lead him to finding the hero in the first place. Meanwhile, Lucien had looked up from his book for a second and saw that Anadi had a pretty weird smile on her face and just mumbled, "oh great, she's evil now." As he was still reading, suddenly Gwen had appeared out of rift in the fabric of reality and commented on how they could get moving, only for him to say, "I wouldn't count on that just yet." Soon after Hunter had appeared again and again and again, only to be...well Hunter. However, with the two of them back he said in a monotone, "well, it appears that the both of you didn't get thrown in prison. Nice nice." As his attention was still drawn towards the literature he said, "so what happened to the guy with the weird arm and the two other girls?" Meanwhile, Jackie was actually pretty happy about how they were the first whole group back. That clearly meant that they were the awesomest team to have come out of this hero searching brigade. It was then that Jackie realized that she had completely overlooked something. "Right, everyone, we got a newcomer to our brigade." Point over to Bartholomew she said, "his name is...uh, Mr. Halloween Town!" And she had completely forgotten his name. Lucien looked up to the guy and gave him a simple wave, before going back to reading. Realizing that there wasn't anything to be doing, Jackie now felt impatient with waiting for the adventure to continue. And so what does an adventurer do in down time? Converse with the other party members, that's what! First and foremost, Jackie was curious about the magic that her party members had done. While she would ask Blanc about his own weird space magic thing, he was...sleeping. Well then. So there were two other party members that she had seen used magic, and they were Ghost, the really edgy guy, and Anadi, the equally as curious about things girl. Walking over to the both of them she said, "so, let's talk about ourselves! Like for instance, neither of you really seem like the type that would be a super awesome fighter." Not even paying attention to either of their reactions to that part, she said, "so I was wondering where you all learned to do what you do. Like you with your awesome lightning katanary," she pointed to Ghost, "and you and your whole keyblade and whatever kind of magical thing you do," she pointed to Anadi. As Ein had been hovering in the air, waiting for an opportunity to strike, she was considering just firing off various light magics at the being though she held off for the moment. She would look for the right moment to go in, however these thoughts were soon cut off as Zavion had seemed to fly in and tell her about his plan. She was a bit wary of the boy, as his large darkness wings and his ability to just mass produce constructs of darkness at a moments notice was not something that she was particularly fond of, though his intentions only seemed to be that of someone trying to help, and so she went along with it. With the plan to fly in and rush it down, she gave him a nod and said, "understood." As everyone had gotten together it was now the time to charge, as this was their greatest opportunity to bring the sting ray down. With the wall of darkness in front of her, she turned to Zavion and said, "let's move." And with that, took off tanking the laser shots with the massive wall of darkness that the boy had constructed. While it had held up fairly well, it eventually dissipated to the barrage of lasers, she brought her sword up and charged it with light. With it, she went forward charging at much faster speeds then she normally would be able to use by using her skill Light Ray. As she charged through it, the Stingray took a bit cut on its back, only to get cut on its stomach by Juliet's follow up keyblade strike. The next blow dealt to it was the large death beam that Ohm had fired straight at it, melting off part of its tail causing it to fall in the pit below. The ray was on its last legs here. Stratos was just sort of awkwardly standing there on Crystallis, watching everything just sort of...happening. He couldn't make heads or tails of what was actually going on as both Lucien and Gwen had just sort of vanished into thin air and hole in space time respectively. Then there was Ananata and Kross, who he hadn't actually seen since the days of the whole SOS shenanigans, but they seemed to be way older. Huh, so people do age. Well that was interesting thought. However, then Hunter just sort of exploded into thin air...apparently the culprit was someone who had just sort of appeared out of nowhere and was vaporizing people. Man what a dick. Nevertheless, everyone was just sort of getting talked to in a one on one conversation except for the one person who wasn't with them initially. Not really sure what to talk about he was like, "so, who exactly is this person you're looking for and uh, what makes you think he'd be on this world? Did he come from this world?" He was kind of not entirely sure what to do in this situation as he felt entirely out of place.
After Zephine had introduced herself so buoyantly the reaction she had gotten was...well it was less than desirable. First there was the blonde girl who introduced herself as Galia and she was something else. After introducing herself she basically just brushed everyone off and left the area. What a bitch. Next up was the person with the black hair and the cool sword. Senju, as it was, seemed to be pretty apathetic about, well everything and just sort of wondered off as well. Then there was the next girl. Star. And she seemed to hate the idea of working with people too. Well damn son. Just about everyone here seemed to hate the idea of working as a team. What the hell kind of bunch of chosen saviors were they? Next up was a person who finally seemed to actually care about actual fellowship, which she could only give a thumbs up to her comment to, and then the next person just kind of walked up and decided to continue the trend of being antisocial pricks. Welp. The next two were just flat out weirdos. One seemed to have a god complex that was clearly prevalent as he was announcing his own entry. While he did seem full of himself, he was still willing to work on a team though so, yay? Then there was the blonde guy who just sort of came in and challenged the red head to a contest that involved a lot of spontaneous hair growth and yelling. Her expression reflected what she felt, which was not having any idea how to react to this. There was this sudden feeling that she got that this would most likely be the case throughout the course of their intergalactic police work. It was then that the good old authority figure dude told them that they'd have to go and move out now and go save worlds from the various forces that be. And so, she knocked her scythe out of the ground, threw it into the air, had it turn back into an orb mid and catch it with it vanishing all in the process, Zephine was now ready to head out. Turning around to the portal, she was a tad bit anxious at the moment as she had no idea how this whole team thing would work given that three-fifths of them were completely anti-social, but only time would tell. Doing a little bit of stretching first, Zephine shortly ran and hopped straight into the portal for one of the two places. Exiting out of the portal and going straight into the next building, she was greeted with a strange sight. That of a large assortment giving them a lot of glares being directed in their general direction. Almost as if the atmosphere was as friendly as the place she had just come from. However, there was the girl, Lucy, who told them just who they were and that they were, allegedly, welcome here. Zephine gave a thumbs up to the girl before turning over to listen to what Star had said. Who was the group after the world's orb? Well, general rules stated that the first people you ran into when searching the place were the most trustworthy of people. However the act of "what a tweest!" was always a thing as well. Hm, who to trust. Not really coming to a definite answer Zephine replied to the girl saying, "well, we definitely know that this group is doing something illegal and probably in some sort of rebellious fashion...but we have absolutely no idea what the state of affairs in this world is. We don't exactly know what kind of person this king even is sooo, that'd be some good info to get first. Sound good?" She decided to wait for what the others would say, at least this time to see if there was any hope of something close to a team or the like.
Zephine. Edolas.
Lucien Not so standoffish Jackie Having gone to the world known Chryslantis, Lucien had been simply standing around and waiting for whatever the hell it was that they were going to be doing here. It was while they were waiting around that Gwen had told him that they were indeed probably cleared to relay the next part of the legend of the hero, though had to meet up with everyone. Well, that was good enough for him. However, as Beuce decided to romance Xero with the scenery being that of a corpse party, a newcomer appeared into their large group. Someone who seemed to be about as young as half the cast here. He listened to her description of the man she was looking for and started to think long and hard about this. Tall. Most of the people in this entire search party were probably around average to above average in height. Handsome. Well, given that they were all based off anime-esque pictures that their creator thought were cool looking...they were all pretty damn attractive. White Hair. That really only belonged to Beuce, Blanc and Alisia, but the latter wasn't exactly tall. Spiked Hair. Well there was Ohm, Zephyr and Hunter who kind of fit that bill. The final descriptor though, was Dark. No one, in the history of any RP he had ever been in, had ever been considered dark. Unless she was referring to like, personality or powers, but skin wise, there was barely a dark skinned man alive that he had ever met. Props to you DJ and walking stereotype lustor. Anyway, Lucien simply said to her,"yeah, you're probably not in the right macroverse if you're looking for someone like that." After all, there was absolutely no one in the history of LvD who fit all of those. "So you might want to take whatever magical portal, not corridor of darkness thing, that you took here and go skedaddle on elsewhere." He then turned to Hunter, proudly proclaiming how much of a badass psychopathic murderer he was to the citizen of this planet. The expression on Lucien's face became one that had become completely unamused as he realized just how brain dead the people he was traveling with were. Not really willing to god mod his way out of jail just yet, he said,"well, have fun with your escapades in, whatever the hell this place is. I'm going to go back and learn the next piece of the legend, probably BS another world selection or something. If you guys are still here and detained or something, I'll probably come back to preform a prison break or something. Anyway, don't drop the soap you all." With a quick salute he said,"later," and with that, he was no longer in Crystallis. Meanwhile, Stratos was just standing there, completely confused by everything that had been going on thus far. Phantom had been standing there, kind of cautiously awaiting what was going to go down. While he had asked why they would try and stop the goddess in the first place, absolutely no one had responded. The man with the katana just sort of stayed silent and had a calm smirk on his face, Avi was just kind of passive, the guy with weird splotches of blonde and black hair drew a weapon, the guy with the black and red hair continued to be silent and the person who asked them in the first place hadn't responded. While the tension in the air was growing ever thicker, Phantom started to have drops of sweat start to form as no one said anything, and things only got worse as three more, er four more people appeared alongside the other four. Oh good lord, they were so boned at this moment. However, the red haired female and the dude with the weird arm were still silent. Great goddess among them, did anyone on this team speak at all? While still waiting for a response, suddenly Sapphire's voice resounded through his head telling him not to hurt them, and he was fairly certain about that already. The thing that happened next, however, was not something he was expecting at all. The sting ray started attacking them without any real provocation. With a slightly confused expression on his face, Phantom wondered what his employers employer was thinking, but just sort of left it at that. Phantom quickly went over the skill set he had in order to fight these people only to come to one conclusion. He was trained to kill...so he didn't really have anything in the non-lethal non-harmful department. Well shit. Turning to Avi, he said, "well I got nothing for this situation. We should probably get out of here fast." With that, he left the fight to the giant ray and shadow warped back to the goddess's room. As he did so, he was somewhat ejected of the shadows and flung out, landing a bit hard on the ground. Picking himself up, he looked at Sapphire and said "well that went poorly." He then started to wonder if his partner had any form of escape and said, "also, you might need to portal the other dude out of there." With the shadow stingray going on a rampage now, firing lasers all around from whatever Sting Ray type laser shooter it had, there was only one thing to be done. With giants wings of light erupting from her back, the armored blonde haired woman had launched into the air with sword in hand. The sword started to shimmer as it was imbued with light and she brought it down on the shadow ray yelling "taste justice foul being of darkness." However, the sting ray had managed to swerve in a way that allowed it to only be grazed by both attacks. It then started to fly further into the sky and started to fly away from the castle. As it had done this, it kept firing a bombardment of lasers at the party of eight. The lasers seemed to hit all around them, not really doing much damage to really anyone and only kept everyone staggered for the time being. This foul villain of justice seemed to be surprisingly not threatening. Though the problem was now that it was circling the castle from a far enough distance, bombarding them with lasers, and making it really not possible to approach it at the moment. Rinox had simply kept his calm face on as he sat down and lazed about saying, "now now, I wonder whatever we're going to do to stop this being." After Jackie and Blanc had done their follow ups on the horse, despite its injuries it still looked like it was raring to go and horse fight them. However, as the two gotten ready to go in and fight some more, Not-Sparkles suddenly exploded in a puff of black fire. Huh, well that was cool. Anadi seemed to be lying down and quickly fumbling her hand around before affirming that they were done. Jackie jumped for joy and said, "way to go! We did it team. We took on our first boss battle and finished with expert camaraderiework." It was then that ghost spoke about how if she knew where the hero was, then she'd have certainly sent a more terrifying boss at them. After thinking on it a bit she said, "unless of course she we're on the right direction and she's just paving the path with minibosses!" Thinking more on this, she started to wonder what other creatures of darkness could be sent at them, however, those day dreams were broken when Mr. Halloween Town had both introduced himself and said how there was most likely no hero in this realm. Her mood mellowing out she said, "fiiine then. We should probably regroup at the library or something and see what everyone else found. Maybe someone got another clue for the hero or something." In a bit of disappointment at the lack of any real progress being made in their quest, Jackie just sort of kicked the ground before reluctantly stepping through a space portal that Blanc had made for the group. As they all walked through it, they were greeted with the sight of an impossibly large number of books just sort of stacked and thrown around all over the place with Lucien calmly sitting in the center of the mess, casually reading a book that had the title "Wall Breaker's Guide to the Galaxy." Looking up for a brief moment, he gave a nod at the party's arrival, and went back to reading.
Charlotte just went and used that ability on that person because why not (cure on Gaius.)
As Stratos was keeping himself up in the large pond of water, he noticed something. Something that seemed pretty off. While the dancing water lilies were certainly strange, that wasn't entirely what was what felt off. Their dance seemed to be taking them further and further away from where they had started. Despite that, Stratos was easily keeping pace with them. It was when his foot collided with a rock in the water, causing him to fall over back into the water that he noticed just what was going on. He brought his head up, as the water lilies had just sort of been leaping over his head like some kind of hurdle, that he started to hear the sound of rushing water on the horizon. Wait a second, this wasn't a pond. It was a river, and he had been unknowingly been being pulled by a current straight towards a waterfall. Trying to break free from the current and swim in another direction, he was becoming rather unsuccessful as he continued tumbled through the water. Strangely enough his tumbles were in perfect tempo as well. Towards the end of the waterfall, Stratos could see all of the dancing, spinning water lilies take their fall off of it as he himself came to the end of the line and fell off the water's edge. However, while he was now in free fall, some glowing thing caught his eye. He wasn't entirely sure if it was what he was searching for, but he was sure as hell praying that something that convinient would happen. Extending out his hand, he got the spell fragment fragment and with it, was transported out of the world. Coming out of the book and landing in the water that was in the room they were originally in, Stratos muttered something about being waterlogged by the end of this mission. He then looked up and basically caught the last sentence of what Karina had declared, to Mickey he assumed, and could only really regain his footing. Walking over he gave her a light pat on the back and with a smile on his face said, "good to see you've finally got a good resolve going for you." While he wasn't entirely sure of the reasoning behind it, it could only be a step above proclaiming how worthless she was. With a small chuckle he said, "took you long enough to find it." He then went to go sit down and wait for the others...until realizing he had sat down in the pool that was the room. Son of a bi- Post 8/12
Having arrived in the new area, Zephine just looked around the entire estate that they were in and let out a whistle of admiration. With her hands in her pocket, she continued to listen on half intently to what the 'Lord Stimm' or whatever his name was explain what their duty as...whatever they were was. What she took out was basically go places, beat bad guys, and that was about all there was to it. After he told them of their job as the intergalactic police force, she gave a quick salute to the man with a smirk on her face and said, "roger that boss man." There was now the matter of what he had said about their orb thingymerjiggers. Apparently those could also become weapons that were based off their personality. Well that sounded kind of awesome. Though, there was the small matter of where the hell her orb actually went. After picking it up the first time she kind of lost complete track of where it went, and it seemed kind of important so finding it was of utmost import- oh, it was right in front of her. Just sort of appeared there really. Curiously looking at the orb, she picked it up and watched as it turned into a scythe. Huh. Well that was unsettling. Regardless, she spun the thing around a bit and then finally planted the blade of it into the ground before looking to the other members of the group with a smile on her face. Observing the group, it seemed like there was a good deal of just about all kinds of people here. Blonds, Gingers, Black hair, purple hair and...well no brunettes really. Regardless she said "heyo everyone, name's Zephine, turns out were work buddies now soooo, getting down the names seems pretty important and stuff. So how you all doing?"

Having been challenged to a fight by the weird magical guild master person(?) Lucia and crew had moved out to begin their assault on him. Once there, all he could was spout things about how weak they all were, how strong he was, and how utterly screwed they were. He then demonstrated his own power by obliterating one of their guild members. She was stunned at the sight of the smoldering pile of ash that used to be...that person. She actually had no idea what his name was, however he was still another human being. She turned from the ash pile and listened to Ezekiel rant about how he was on par with a god. Clenching her fists and grinding her teeth, Lucia's expression had turned from one of stunned surprise to seething rage, as a hate filled glance was directed towards the arcane being. Before she could say anything, the blonde haired girl who was always taking about justice pointed her sword at the man said, "vile scourge of the earth. Your existence is a very blight upon this world!" Lucia then spat out, "and if you're willing to play god, you sure as hell better prepare yourself! Because we're going shatter those dellusions of yours!" With that, Charlotte jumped forth with her blade at the ready, and Lucia jumped with her knives at the ready. The two girls used Quick Blitz.
Standing around, Stratos watched as Mickey had given his pep talk to Karina which had managed to at least cheer her up somewhat. Well that was good. Then even Glen had managed to cheer up and only seem slightly annoyed rather than totally pissed off that Karina had tried to kill them. After their short little exchange, they both jumped into the book Mickey had told them to go into to find the piece they were looking for, and Stratos could only shrug and say, "well here goes nothing." With that, he leaped into the portal and was taken away to wherever it took him. Looking around, Stratos had ended up in the middle of a pond like area...and landed face first into the water. One of these days he'd get better at entries. Lifting his head out of the pond, he looked around and saw that water lilies were starting to fall from the sky. Weird. While they were falling though, he couldn't help but notice another thing. There was background music playing around. And not like the unnatural fourth wall breaking kind of bgm, no this felt like it had fit straight into the world. Regardless, when the lilies had hit the water, something strange happened with them as well. They started to just pick themselves up and spin around, as if they were dancing. He was starting to feel a tad uncomfortable in the whole musical number, but he eventually started to just stand up and see where this whole thing was going. 4/12

Lucien Well shit Jackie and Blanc As the lion guy made note of how the cave was filled with absolutely nothing. Well duh. It'd be too easy for them if the first cave that was searched had their all important macguffin of a hero in it. However, it was then that they were set up with an ultimatum. They could either keep searching this world aimlessly for a cave that could potentially hold the hero in it...but really this was the only cave in the world that mattered. Why? Because they decided to search through it to find nothing. That's about it. It was then that they were apparently supposed to find this Gexln dude, who Hunter seemed to immediately know where he was. Okay, there was actually nothing stating that he was in "Atlantis." In fact, Hunter just sort of ripped his way through another not dark corridor but totally the same in use. The bear man sighed at this flashy display and looked to Stratos. The two were then in Crystallis, with Stratos looking confused once more at both the change in form and location. Stretching his arms out a bit, Lucien looked around and then realized that he had no idea who this Gexln person even was, why they decided to go to this totally irrelevant world in the first place, and where the next piece of the Heroes legend was supposed to appear. He decided to speak to the one person who could potentially answer one of these questions. "So Gingersnap," he directed towards Gwen, "should we just like exposition out the second part of the legend now, or just ya know, wait for everyone to group back up?" Phantom was chilling around with Avi, who responded with saying reading. Well that was a hobby if ever there was one. When asked of his own, Phantom said, "eh, I just sort of help a guy whose job it is to kill people...wait, that's not a hobby that's a job. Huh." He began to sit around and ponder if he even actually did anything of note in his free time...or if he even had free time to begin with. Ah well. He was about to continue on with their clearly not forced at all conversation, when suddenly people arrived. The girl with the group of four asked if they, being Phantom, Avi and their giant shadow sting ray were looking for the hero as well. "Well, I guess we are sort of looking for the Hero. Not really top priority, but hey, if we knew where he was then we'd be able to know where to set up against those trying to look for him." The black haired katana wielding man stepped up, pushing the hilt an inch out of its sheath before saying, calmly, "so I suppose we have opposing goals then?" Unslinging the rifle on his back, he pointed at the man and said, "guess we do." The man with the katana eyed the weapon, seemingly curious at what a strange modern marvel it was. Phantom then thought about what Ghost would do in this situation and realized that was exactly what the Goddess didn't want to have happen. He then realized he totally forgot the most important part of his mission. "Oh yeah, the goddess, Sapphire, yeah she totally knows what you're all up to an sent us here just to warn you and shoe you off the path of finding the hero. Really, this is kind of a pointless search anyway, and I don't even know what all of your problems are with her anyway." With the three of them against these four, Phantom was pretty sure that they could take on these hero hunters. "So, how bout it?" It was do or die time. It was this awesome band of fighters versus Not-Sparkles. Ghost then delivered a speech about how this was a messenger of the goddess that was sent to stop them, only for Jackie's eyes to light up as she said, "that just means we have our first official boss fight! Awesome!" It was then that, in the time that she had turned away to speak to Ghost that the horse got exceedingly pissed at them, charging full gallop straight towards them. Before Jackie had even done anything, Anadi went at it, doing her own Anadi thang, when Jackie stepped up to the plate. Before she began her assault, a brown glow had suddenly appeared around he. She then started to run forward, jump into the air and do a diving kick on the shadow horse. When her foot connected, it seemed to land with much more impact than should physically possible from her, and the horse was pushed off balance for a second. It had quickly recovered, and turned to face Jackie. The girl had her blade at the ready, and struck forward with great force at Not-Sparkles, who responded by meeting her blade with its hoof. The two forces had collided with surprisingly equal force, however, Not Sparkles was faster to recover. Quickly turning around, it then used its two back hooves to up the earth underneath it, and have it knock into Jackie. The force of this attack had sent Jackie hurtling through the air, and had made her in complete of danger of going over the edge and straight into a bottomless pit. However, the sound of fingers snapping resonated through the air, and her momentum had vanished. Blanc, having caught Jackie in a zero gravity bubble, had managed to stop her from falling to her demise. Snapping his fingers again, she was released from the prison, causing her to fall to the ground underneath her, and her to give the man in white a thumbs up. Blanc looked at the horse, and stood still. The horse eyed the man back, and quickly galloped at him, trying to knock him out of commission. Creating a large gravity field, with himself as the point of attraction, Blanc had managed to pull the horse in causing it to approach him far faster than it was expecting. This made the horse's charge get overshot, only for Blanc to the then strike the underbelly of it with a swift palm strike, knocking it into the air. As it was there, he released the gravity field on himself, though immediately intensified the gravity around the horse to make it fall to the ground faster, causing it to land harder and sloppier. As the horse landed, Blanc swiftly hit it on the side, once more with a palm strike, causing it to slide across the ground. The horse, while injured from these attacks, still managed to pick itself up and kick the ground, ready to charge at them with all of its stallion goodness once more.
inb4 realizing this happened in January. Anyway, I'll vote once I actually read the month of december #neglecting other worlds.
Lucia for Squad 1 Char for Squad 3
With the advent of the large creature that the vile Necromancer had summoned, the group seemed as if they would be in a kind of peril. However, the team had completely pulled through. They had given it their all and with it, the arbiter of death had fallen. Charlotte felt some sense of satisfaction in defeating Orpheus, almost as if this had been a long standing goal to bring him down. Regardless, with the fight done, the group had all done their own victory poses, which for Charlotte involved flourishing her blade and then finally sheathing it. While they had proven their strength in this trial, not only as individuals but as a team as well, she agreed with Ra that it would do them well not to be complacent in their strength and take on Ezekiel right away. As such, she was all for taking a momentary rest and regrouping with the rest of their guild. It was then that Thomas had spoken, directed at her and oh so carefully tip toeing around saying her name, about how he would boast about this fight and have all the ladies swoon over him for it. Charlotte gave an unamused look towards the boy saying, "yes, I am sure they will think you are the most "badass" member of the guild. Especially when they hear that of the five of us, you seemed to have been the only one who went down at any point during the fight." With a slight grin on her face she said, "nevertheless, we all preformed admirably here. Now let us return to our guild." With that, Team King had left the area, leaving the enemy guild behind for the time being. Upon arrival, she had noticed that the rest of the guild members had seemed to have been finished with their fight, and all seemed to be alive and present. Walking over to their Guild Master, Evanora, Charlotte had begun her report on what had happened. "We have returned from our assault on the enemy's base. Along the way we ran into a man by the name of Orpheus who had been one of the four elite mages of Ezekiel's, and he also seemed to be the source of the undead that the enemy seemed to poses. We fought against him and emerged victorious with no real issues to be reported. That is all." With that, her report was done.
