They said that three new worlds would be added to the game, one of which would be brand-new to the series. The other two have shown to be Castle of Dreams and Enchanted Dominion.

It's been a couple of years, but the game is finally seeing a worldwide retail release! While the Japanese eShop release of the game was a sort of "first episode," this retail release will explore the full story the digital game started. In addition to the game, a very large Detective Pikachu amiibo will be released! The amiibo, when scanned into the game, can unlock cutscenes up to how far you've progressed in the game for viewing. Yes, the picture is to scale: The game and amiibo will see a worldwide release for the 3DS on March 23.
In older news, Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool, The Proposal) has been cast in the title role of Detective Pikachu, with Justice Smith (The Get Down, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) and Kathryn Newton (Supernatural, Lady Bird) have been cast as the male (possibly/probably Tim Goodman) and female leads. In newer...news, Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Inception) has been cast as Detective Yoshida, a role created for the movie. The film, which sees Tim Goodman Smith's character team up with Detective Pikachu when his father is kidnapped, will release in theaters on May 10, 2019. source
On March 6, Square Enix will be releasing Final Fantasy XV: Royal Edition, a rerelease of the game containing all the currently-released DLC as well as a few new bonuses, like a new dungeon, a controllable Royal Vessel, new bosses, and a first-person mode. Players who already own the base game can purchase the additional Royal Edition content as DLC. Final Fantasy XV: Windows Edition will release the same day with the same content. source
Nintendo Labo is a completely left-field new project for the Nintendo Switch, combining the Switch's versatility with DIY cardboard creations, allowing players to bang on a cardboard piano or throw punches with a cardboard robot suit, or a variety of other possibilities. Two Nintendo Labo kits--called Toy-Cons--will launch on April 20. The Variety Kit will cost $69.99 and the Robot Kit $79.99. A customization kit with tape rolls, stickers, and stencils will also release the same day for $10.
