Novice nodded and in an instant, he was at the Ultimate Organization's side. "I assume you know that my brethren are present," Novice stated to no member in particular. "What you choose to do now is your choice. Run..or fight...Whatever you think is best."
"Who the hell is it now?" Xane asked, turning around. "And how should I know how strong the hammer is? Ask one of Thor's sons. They survived the battle." *** "Stolen? How the hell could a heavily guarded extensive file on the Virus get stolen?" U.P.A agent, Pharell Titan shouted. He was the one who'd ordered the hit on Balder back in Asgard. He and his team escaped the world, before the chaos ensued. Now he was back in a U.P.A run office in the dark Land of Dragons. The dark version of the Land of Dragons, was essentially a huge city. Full of business opportunities and shady deals. Perfect for the U.P.A, who had taken over the place a month ago. "I-it was a Brotherhood member..." The security officer stuttered, wiping blood from the gash on his head. He worked his way past our security systems, killed a few guards, and stole it... "Okay," Pharell sighed. Lexx would not like this. "Which member of the Brotherhood stole it? Can ya tell me that?" "....." The security guard squeaked. "What was that!?" Pharell snapped. "R-Ravakov!" The security guard shuttered. "Huh. Really?" Pharell frowned. "Only one problem with that. The Brotherhood member, known as Ravakov, doesn't exist. He's a myth."
OOC: Gotta eat. I'll be back soon. I eat fast. BIC: "You're gonna face, Raijin, Nulix?" Xane asked. "He'll probably incinerate ya."
OOC: We're not anywhere near 400 posts yet. A few hundred more to go. And new members...? Has that really worked well in the past for us? Especially at this point in the story? Well, we can try and recruit some 'experienced' people, but...I dunno. BIC: "You're going to fight?" Novice asked Falcon as she slowly approached Enigma. "Now? This isn't going to help anyone. We should focus on bigger goals, besides squabbling with each other..."
"What are you about to do?" Xane asked Nulix. "Fight Raijin? Or those Brotherhood guys over there?" *** The battle was nearly done....The survivors were few. Thor's sons, Modi and Magni, had survived the fight and were resting on piles of rubble. As had Odin's son, Vioder. They all sat and watched as Loki and Heimdall's swords clashed with each other. Flaming red sparks shooting from the edges. Their swings matching perfectly. Hatred burning in their eyes. But...it didn't take long for a victor to emerge. Heimdall plunged his sword straight into Loki's heart. Heimdall, breathed a long sigh, but not before falling victim to Loki's last underhanded trick. Loki played dead for a minute and used the last of his strength to pick up his sword. He then plunged his sword into Heimdall's heart, giving off a cold smirk before dying. Heimdall stepped backward, before pulling the sword out of his heart. Raising it in the air, he shouted, "I...have...finished..my..duty...to Asgard...Long..live Asgard." And that was the last Asgardian to die...
OOC: Sorry. Had to eat. BIC: "....Nulix...You got shot in the head," Xane explained as all the flames died out. "Huh. Wonder what's going on...? *** Meanwhile, Loki had melted into a a puddle in front of Xardius' flaming explosion. He then swiftly moved behind Xardius and transformed back into a humanoid, raising his sword. Before Xardius pushed Loki out of the way, Heimdall charged into Loki, himself. The two Asgardians then began to duel. Heimdall used his blade to press Loki against a wall, trapping him. "Xardius!" Heimdall exclaimed. "Get your group out of here. I sense a greater danger here, than my traitorous whelp of a brother!" Heimdall was talking about the recently arriving Brotherhood members. *** Novice floated down to his fellow Brotherhood members. He wordlessly nodded to Azull and co., while giving a questioning glance at Enigma.
"So did you..." Xane said. "And me, Wing, Darxess, Vexneah, Xardius, Vecked..."
"Well, I sure don't..." Xane shrugged, before noticing another figure fighting off Frost Giants. "Is that....Tul Raijin?"
"So...We can take all of our enemies out at once?" Xane asked. "Or....are we gonna buy the Virus for ourselves, then get rid of it?"
"Yeah..." Xane nodded as he went to search for any more survivors. "Why were you on a gummi ship, anyway?"
"I dunno," Xane answered. "It can't be bad to look, though."
OOC: Nice avatar, Xegreny. And DarKnight...Can you please NOT kill Loki. I sorta have an idea of how he's gonna die. BIC: Lightning and thunder covered the skies, as Thor raised his hammer, Mjolnir, in the air. Several bolts struck the Midgard Serpent's back, who swiftly coiled around Thor and raised him up to face him. "Ttthhhhoor! Soon you'll be with you're fatttther!" the monster hissed, as it tossed Thor into it's mouth. Thor quickly grabbed the top of the Midgard Serpent's jaw and raised his hammer. "And today is when you meet your end, by my hammer!" Thor yelled slamming Mjolnir down on the Midgard Serpent's head. As the sea monster fell to the ground, motionless, Thor wandered towards the rest of the battle A big gaping hole in his chest, where the snake had bit him. He'd survived wounds like this, but the venom got to him too quickly. After a few steps, the Mighty Thor fell dead... *** Likewise, Frey had died fighting fire giants, as had his sister, Freya. *** The wolf Fenris was soon defeated by the sword of Odin's son, Vioder. *** Tyr had defeated over a hundred giants, before being frozen solid, and subsequently crushed by Ymir. *** At that time, Novice decided to play a hand. Noticing a pack of rampaging fire giants, Novice put a plan into action. In less then a tenth of a second, Ymir was suddenly placed in the path of these giants flaming' attacks. The heat was enough to melt Ymir's icy body. *** Heimdall glanced at Xardius, before going back to staring down Loki. He knew that they were on the same side, but he was going to make sure that no one slayed one to slay his treacherous brother, but him. Heimdall then took a careful moment, to look around the battle torn arena....So many of his friends, his brothers, had died. Loki smirked at the two facing him. He raised his sword and charged.... *** Valkyries were fighting giants and heartless right and left, as was Xane. Xane then ran to find Nulix. "I think we've got most of the civilians out, but we better check for any stragglers."
OOC: Wonder what Darxess' is gonna do...
In the midst of the chaos and constant fighting, tragedy happened. Odin, leader of Asgard had heroically plunged his sword into the back of Loki's wolf-like son, coincidentally named Fenris. As Fenris howled in pain he flipped Odin into the air, opening it's jaws wide. Odin put up a fight that cost Fenris his eye, but it was soon too late. Fenris quickly proceeded to snap it's jaws shut... *** Xane fought back more giants to clear a path. His work wasn't done yet... *** Atop of the stands, Heimdall crossed blades with Loki.
"It's going to take more than a little flicker of flame like that to melt me..." Ymir taunted. *** Xane was busy clearing a pathway for civilians to escape through. He crippled several giants by striking them in various pressure pints. Their size just made it easier for Xane to pinpoint them.
OOC: I don't know if it should be that easy to kill the giants, but... BIC: Suddenly, an icy hand grasped Adumbral. It was the hand of Ymir, king of the Frost Giants. "Like killing my brethren, do you?" Ymir stated, starting to crush Adumbral in his hand. *** "Yeah, pretty much," Xane nodded. He then went ahead to attack a nearby fire giant.
"Nulix, where'd you go?" Xane asked. "I don't know what just happened, but-" Xane was cut off by the roar of a Frost Giant. "Look nevermind. We just need to evacuate the people, beat the crap outta these monsters, and leave this place."
OOC: That's kind of a pity after seeing what you just posted... BIC: "Now ya tell me..." Novice sighed, running after Enigma. "Though, I have to say...I'm going to have misgivings about facing Azull. We may be on different sides of the Brotherhood's internal conflict, but we are still both part of the same group...Perhaps that's just another point that makes us a little bit weaker than them," Novice stated, referring to the Ultimate Organization. *** "Oh are you?" Loki cackled as his microphone changed itself into a battle axe. "Not if we get our hands on you first," the booming voice of Thor growled. Behind him were Odin, Heimdall, Frey, Freya, several Valkyries, Tyr, and many other Asgardian warriors. "Oh no. What to do?" Loki said, in mock fear. "Tell me, Thor...Have you met my sons?" As he said this, Loki's two sons, The Midgard Serpent and an enormous wolf emerged from the hole in the stands and attacked, Thor and Odin respectively. Following them were armies of giants, heartless, and other monsters. The Asgardians all flocked to battle the monsters. Leaving only Heimdall and Xardius to face Loki.
Xane leaped above the bullets aimed at him and planted a kick at Adumbral's left shoulder. "Watch it with the bullets. You could hit some spectators," Xane said. As he spoke, the arena shook. Some of it's pearly stone walls slowly started to crumble. An explosion boomed out of one of the stands, leaving a gaping hole in them. Out of the hole emerged Loki, riding atop an ice giant, wielding a....microphone? "Ladies and Gentlemen!" Loki announced loud enough to be heard across the arena. "I give you our final event! I call it, Ragnarok, or alternatively, the end of Asgard!" he then motioned to some fire giants behind him. "Cue the fire works!" The whole stadium was set alight...
"R-right..." Novice gasped. " Just let me get a breath or two..." Novice then composed himself and stood up. "Right. Let's go." OOC: Where are they going, anyway?
