I honestly don't like trying to build anticipation and expectations for conferences. I'll look over the news (mostly) and probably find stuff that's cool, but I'm not likely to be hunting down news at all.

I've probably just confused anyone that thinks I'm a reporter...

And everyone knows OVAs are never cannon. You really should just skip them unless you are desperate for something flashy.

And you don't believe he intended it that way? Where is your spamzone spirit. You take that and run with it.

I'm going with someone that punches people that are hugging, because it's funnier that way.

It depends on how available they are. In most games they are limited and most take some work to get (exploring, side-quests, etc.) so I'll use them immediately. It's my reward for the task and the game is balanced for it, if even just that I preform less grinding and get somewhere at a lower actual level.

If the game has an unlimited amount I might hold off more based on how hard they are to get. Like KH (I know you are saying turnbased but the mechanics in question here don't change much), I still use them immediately because I can't make more with any frequency until late into the game. In some other games where you might steal them from basic enemies or even buy them, then I would hold off more. Though even then I don't think I would be likely to go without entirely.

Cloud backup instead of external drive but same deal. Monthly-ish clean out at the ports with a can, vertical stand on a desk for airflow, not on for too long. I even sent mine into gophermods for preventative maintenance in like 2011 I think (better clean out, new paste, stuff I could really do myself if I was willing to open it up). Sooner or later it's just going to die anyway.

I mean YLOD is normally an overheat, but mine shutdown fine and I even had it fully off so I could use the controller on my PC without waking it up. Went to boot it and it was just "lol. *****, I don't think so"

Mine used to fluctuate a ton (only loosely held in check by trying to be in bed by the time my parents got up at 6). Recently it's most often in the 1-2 window. If I have to be somewhere early I'll aim at midnight.

A lot of people talk about the fat ones like you should count yourself lucky if you get 2 years out of it, but mine was from Christmas launch year and this is the first significant issue I've had.

I've been using my PC a lot more than my PS3 lately, but now while it is getting repaired that is like all I want to do.

I was actually about to post that but refreshed first to make sure the thread hadn't moved too far. Glad I did.

I'm glad to see you back, and especially glad that you've matured in your time away.

While I always respected your intellect and willingness to go against the crowd, your personal skills really held you back. But this thread shows a huge improvement in humility and kindness. Here's hoping you can not only sustain this but continue to grow. I'm just sorry that it sounds like you had a rough ride to get some sense knocked into you.

I did a split vote because Blade Charge was the most useful to me, but Wingblade was the most fun to use.

Terra fit my play-style the best. Just a shame that he doesn't work as well in the end game because of damage caps and a pretty crappy dodge.

Just use any editor or converter utility that will allow you to choose a codec.

I personally like to use VirtualDub for AVI files. Just be warned that if you fail to pick a video codec it will default to uncompressed. Those files become simply massive.
