Genesis stared at Tori in shock and surprise. He closed his hand, flexing his fingers and Kiel set a warm hand on his shoulder. Glancing up at the boy, Genesis rested his head on his palms and listened. Kiel spoke up from his place at Tori's shoulder, "We can worry about him and find him later. Classes will be post poned for the next few days so locating him should be easier. If Tori wishes it, I'll find him myself." He kept his face neutral even though he was concerned about the lack of classes would have on the student body. They'd be free and greiving and so were the teachers.
Balmore Manor - dining room Seth wiped a bit of egg off of Rin's cheek and tossed the apple into the air, catching it again, "Yes. Do not speak with your mouth full. A lady of your stature now, needs to be proper." He chuckled at the thought of Rin dressed up in fancy dresses posing as Seth's human consort. It was hilarious really. Balmore Manor - Mimi's room Mirabelle nodded and led the child out of her room with Cooke on their heels. "Now when meeting your Sire, be sure to be polite. I'm sure the natural reaction to embrace him would take over but do remember, Master Balmore is not used to embracing others. He's quite solitary. I'll be there the whole time, but you'll come to want to be around him all the time. Don't be afraid. He's a gentle man." Mirabelle knocked softly and pushed open the dining room doors. She giggled a bit, suppressing the full laugh at the sight of him actually cutting up an apple now and eating it bit by bit. Balmore Manor Foyer Yuka trembled and bowed her head, "I apologize for lying to you Lady Ceril... I tell everyone that because he's a monster. I do not wish to associate myself with him ever... If only he had died in the Purge like he was supposed to...nothing would be like this." Luin The blond man tilted his head, smiling sweetly at Vickie before Serena shoved herself between him and the girl. "You truly believe I'm just going to walk away from such a delightful girl? And the mear thought of you and a metal door being the only things in my way make me feel...cozy." He reached around Serena and tapped the hood of the car with his knuckle, "This...would pose as only a second's problem in getting inside." He tugged on the lapels of his coat and sneered, "My town? Oh no dear...New York is my lady...not Luin. I couldn't care less about the peace in this pathetic excuse for a town. The fact that I see werewolves standing before me makes me sick. My brother has done a poor job in providing vampires with a peaceful place to gather."
Balmore Manor - Dining room Seth closed his mouth and watched her eat. He picked up an apple and examined it. At least it didn't give off such an awful scent. It smelt like nature. Trying to bite into it, Seth found it incredibly awkward. His fangs pierced it first and it reminded him of biting a human as apple juices dripped into his mouth. He hadn't eaten real food since a few hundred years ago. Around when Cooke had been turned. Balmore Manor - Mimi's room Cooke waved, biting on a sucker and winked at her, "That'd be me, kiddo. Seth's our onii-chan, but he's a good example for a dad too...I guess... If you like fathers that drink blood, coffee and sometimes when they're half asleep forget which is which. You'll like him when you meet him. Everyone turned by him does. Be it instinct or the natural order of things...or that he's just that awesome of a guy...it's cool." Cooke's country twang made her sound strange for a Vampire dressed in striped purple stockings and a purple dress with equally purple spiky hair.
Penny nodded, "Yup...super lost... Giselle's from school...but...you know an angel, Giselle?" Kiel finally stood and returned to stand behind Tori's right shoulder, simply watching with a blank expression on his face. His mind was a million miles away. With Yves dead...and Kyrios trying to change the way the Seraphim do things...it's suddenly Tori's job to fix it? That's ridiculous... Worst of all...Tori...can't...fall in love with anyone after becoming a Seraph.... He felt his heart break a little as he stood there. Genesis flinched when Kyrios stood. Nervously meeting his gaze, Genesis looked like he was about to pass out when Sanya jumped up and placed her hand on Kyrios'. He moved his hands and it was apparent now to Uriel Kyrios was abusing the poor child as he walked away, holding his arm close to his body. Without his gloves on, his fingers took a purple hue and one was bent backwards awkwardly. Genesis sat next to Tori without a second thought and set his injured arm on the table, straightening out his fingers one by one.
Balmore Manor - Seth's room~ Seth led Rin out of his room and started down the stairs. He hummed an old, old song and shuffled Rin into Cooke's little area she called a 'dining room' where they'd eat if they were human. She'd set out bacon and eggs easy side up and a glass of orange juice...along with plates full of different foods from different cultures. Seth made a face at the scents, "Gross.....and you actually eat this stuff?" Balmore Manor - Mimi's room~ Mirabelle shook her head and helped the girl stand, "Master Balmore, your Sire is downstairs at the moment. You'll know him when you see him. Each vampire bitten and turned by their Sire has a connection like father to daughter. If you go to long without seeing him before your first century is up, it becomes painful. Master Balmore is easy to find though. Cooke has a connection with him too so I'm sure you two will be good friends. Well..are you ready to meet him?"
Raina chuckled delicately and poked his forehead, "Yes my two for one deal." Mithos groaned and spit out a stream of curses before making the muscles in Auran's stomach twitch. "Dude...look what I can do..."
Balmore Manor - Seth's room~ Seth chuckled lightly and slid a headband into Rin's hair. "No, no fetish. I'm trying to keep you out of trouble, little lady. And away from Vampire fangs thank you very much. When the time comes...if I feel it...I will be the only one who's fangs will pierce this lovely pale skin." He trailed two fingers down her neck. Balmore Manor - Mimi's room~ Mirabelle and Cooke leaned forwards and smiled at the child. "Well, g'mornin'. I'm bettin' you want to see your Sire right about now. Typical...all of em do.." Balmore Manor Foyer~ Yuka trembled and gripped her hands together, "Master...Valentine...is Seth's younger brother. Valentine Balmore, is a monster of a man... He's the one who turned me...and probably so many others... I don't remember a thing...but he always visits sooner or later...after he's broken out of prison....and he'll come here...and he'll take everything from me...again." Luin~ A man with bright blond hair and shining crimson eyes leaned down and knocked on the window of a car, watching the little girl (Vickie) inside carefully. He relished werewolf scent and it lingered all over this child.
Ren blushed a bit, "As if that's going to happen..." He took his place at the table with Uriel, Gabriel and the other teachers. It made him uncomfortable seeing the Summer and Winter Seraphim sitting huddled together with Kiel speaking to them and Kyrios grinned and stitching Sanya's cheek back together. He was unnaturally happy. Even if he hated Yves, he should've shown a little remorse. He figured Usagi would show up any second now and give him a message from Father, lecturing him. Penny's eyes widened and sat down silently beside Tristan, on the opposite side of Schuyler. "I'm sorry...I didn't know. Can...I ask...who died?" Kiel returned Tori's wave and gave her a signal for one minute and turned back to a deep conversation with Enan and Kallai. His face only showed frustration and dismay. Genesis pushed open the doors to the dining hall and Kyrios shot him a glare that if looks could kill, his head would be rolling on the floor. Leading Giselle and Allen towards the other humans, he motioned for them to sit. "Tori...Schuyler...take care of these two for a while... I'll be right back, Miss Giselle...I should...probably speak to my Seraph..." He wasn't thrilled and walked slowly towards Kyrios.
Balmore Manor - Seth's room~ Things stopped shattering and Seth pulled away from her, his eyes still a bright crimson. "Let's get you dressed and enrolled...something to take my mind off things." Leading her out of the bathroom, Seth stood behind her and reached over her shoulder to pull out a cashmiere sweater and a skirt in her size. "Rin...Cooke made you breakfast, even though it's afternoon. She hasn't cooked for humans before so just try to eat her food...it might not be very good." Balmore Manor - Mimi's room~ Mirabelle pulled Mimi from Johanna's arms and tilted the child's head up. Cooke had given her the blood pack curiously and now watched as Mirabelle poured it down the little girl's throat, coaxing her into a state of wakefullness. "C'mon child...time to open your eyes and see the new world you live in. Then we'll go down and meet your Sire for the first time in your new life."
Balmore Manor - Seth's Room~ Seth lowered his head and anxiously flicked his gaze around on the floor, "No...dammit...thank you for informing me Ceril...please...attend to Yuka, she hates Valentine and fears him. I'll deal with the traitor. Do not open the door for anyone today." he told Ceril and closed the door softly. Seth slipped in the bathroom and wrapped a towel around Rin's shoulders, "Something has come up Rin...I need you to stay close to me as possible." The mirror shattered and he held her against his chest tightly. Purebloods developed a tolerance for their rage, letting it build up and releasing it not in a physical way but mentally by shattering things with a thought. Crushing a handful of the towel at Rin's shoulder, he bunched it up and bit it. How could he not be angry when Valentine...the one Pureblood he hated more than anything was going to visit in broad daylight. The man was annoying and more human than he wanted to admit. And significantly younger than Seth.
Ren gave her a weak smile, "Yeah...it's not my shade...I don't look right in it, but...traditions are traditions." He truly hated funerals. He was positive later today everyone would be crying and screaming. Penny followed after Tristan and Tori and rubbed his head, "You're wearing white? Is there some special occasion? Is somebody getting married?" Kiel watched Tori leave, standing almost lost-like in the dining hall, simply awaiting her return. Figuring he should make himself useful, he sat beside the Seraphim that were present and watched them sit there, sobbing or numb. None of them ate. In truth, he didn't feel like eating much either. Genesis finally fixed his shirt and set a hand on Giselle's shoulder, "Hey, I'm not that creepy looking... It's fine. Anyways, it's time to head to dinner. I'm going to ask you both to come along...since...well...hopefully the new Seraph is there...and the others will back me on this."
Balmore Manor - Seth's room~ Seth yanked open the door, only half dressed, his face a stone mask, "What about Valentine?" He only half gave his attention to Rin's cries for a towel, "One second, Rin!" Giving his attention to Ceril, he hadn't even noticed the change in his own eyes. From dark brown all the way to burning crimson at the single mention of Valentine's name. "What has he done?"
Balmore Manor - Seth's Room~ Seth smiled warmly and stood. "I'll do my best, Rin. Just remember...according to all the humans in this town, I'm the descendent of the founder of this town....which was me." He flicked his hair out of his eyes, he needed it cut soon. For one that never aged, his hair liked to grow continually. Tilting his head, Seth paused in drawing on a clean pair of pants. Balmore Manor Foyer~ Yuka released the phone and turned a terrified gaze to Ceril, "Y-young master Valentine is coming for a reunion visit later today...." her voice shook and a deep chuckle sounded from the reciever lying dangling by it's cord inches away from the floor. "S-someone...tell Seth..."
Balmore Manor - Seth's room~ Seth sighed and sat on the edge of the bed closest to her. "Rin...school isn't terrible. I'll drop you off and pick you up everyday if I'm not busy. And..." he pulled the covers away from her face and peered in the darkness under the blankets, his golden eyes glowing unnaturally, "I'll visit you during your lunch period. After all, I get hungry on a regular basis too. I doubt my pet would want me feeding on any other girl I find." He teased gently and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead. "Please, Rin. I'd be happy if you attended Luin's High School." Balmore Manor Mimi's room~ Mirabelle stood when Mimi's time was up and her breathing stopped finally. She was dead, finally dead and the rest of the process would happen quickly. Mirabelle rang the bell for Cooke to bring up some of the blood from the blood bank in the hospital and she heard Yuka's frightened cry and the shattering of glassware.
Balmore Manor - Seth's Room~ Seth shut off the shower, wrapping a towel around his waist and another one over his shoulders and leaned against the door. "They're further behind than you are. Yuka, Mirabelle and Cooke know only what they were taught hundreds of years ago. Society today frowns on their behavior."
Balmore Manor - Seth's Room~ A bright chime echoed through the house, starting from the house phone. Seth stirred, rolling over irritably and finally sat up with a snarl. "For once I'd like to sleep without the annoyance of that noise!" He growled ferally and flung open his door, "Yuka! Get the damn phone! Cooke, prepare breakfast and a lunch for Rin!" Slamming the door, Seth winced, watching Rin carefully. He wasn't a happy morning person and it didn't help his mental state with her sitting in his bed with such a cute face. "We're going out today. You're still sixteen, you're attending a proper school so no one can say you don't have a proper education." He slipped behind the door to his bathroom and flipped on the shower.
Balmore Manor - Seth's room~ Seth mumbled against her hair, his hand splayed possessively across Rin's stomach. Warmth radiated from him for once. Seth cracked open his eyes and flinched as sunlight hit them. "Mmmmf...five more years mum...." Balmore Manor - Mimi's room~ Mirabelle sighed, brushing her hand across Mimi's forehead, "Yes...I remember quite vividly. My Sire was a cruel man with a lovely sense for flowers. He showed me how to care for a rose...and in turn...I asked him what I could do for him....his response was for me to die. My Sire hated my guts. He took everyone I loved and turned them against me. As for when he turned me...it was quite simple and I should've seen it coming. An ambush on the street on my way home...him and all his friends, none of them Purebloods bit into me...and finally he sank his fangs into me... I thought I was being raped. If only he was that kind..."
Kyrios stood and pulled Sanya and the Dark Hunter off to the side, murmuring. Kallai ushered the remaining students into the dining hall, away from the blood. Ren grimaced at the blood trailings, gathering it up into his bracelet again, Ren entered the dining hall in his pure white suit. The collar hung open and his midnight blue hair stood out starkly against it. "Everything alright, Kaila?" Genesis pulled on a new pair of pants. He hated his white clothes and slid on a button up white shirt. "It's fine really. I'm used to changing in front of people."
Raina tilted her blond head, "Mithos?"
Balmore Manor - Seth's Room~ Seth chuckled and licked her skin, "That's right....you're my pet. My pet...only I will taste your blood...and your happiness." Removing the covers completely, Seth relpaced his hand where it was and gently cut open the skin on her chest and tossed the small razor aside. He licked up her blood and gave what he could as morning closed in on the Vampire house and afternoon settled in. *cue for time skip*
