OOC: You all have...Sigh... BIC: Xardius and the rest of the UO members escaped on Mellodia's gummi. "Where to?" Xane asked. "Well, where in the dark worlds have you not been?" Mellodia shrugged. "Uh, Land of Dragons and... Agrabah," Xane said. " Dark Agrabah's closer," Venture said. "It's also the perfect world for the UO to hide in." "Where's Nulix?" Xane asked Xardius.
"Hey, Xardius!" Xane called from afar, amidst the chaos. "We're gettin' out of here! Hurry up!" "After them!" Pharell shouted.
OOC: Why would Xardius be holding a camera? Then again, he is a living deus ex machina... BIC: "I don't know where the others are," Xane said, "But we've gotta find them and get out of here."
OOC: I figured you would help, DK...And I think the plot makes sense. I think he means that it's painful to watch Nulix betray the UO. BIC: Venture, Mellodia, and Xane took care of most of the guards with ease. But the problem wasn't in strength, but in numbers. There were guards at every turn in the building. They left through the exit and saw U.P.A agents shooting down reporters. OOC: Xane is not killing agents. He hardly ever kills foot soldiers. Can you edit please?
"I'd advise you not to move," Pharell taunted. "Unless...You'd rather be blasted to smithereens?" "That's not an option really," Venture growled, speaking for the first time in a long time. "Huh? You're one of the drivers, right?" Pharell asked. "It'd be a shame to kill one of the top five." "Wish I could say the same for you," Venture frowned, chopping his hand across Pharell's face, Effectively blinding him in one eye. Pharell dropped his weapon and crouched on the floor, clutching his face. "Don't stand there!" he yelled. "Shoot them, damn it!" All of the soldiers drew their weapons...
After reading the contents of the papers, Xane's eyes widened. He knew Lexx was some sort of genius or whatever, but this whole plot was preplanned! Some of the paper's had been dated months before Lexx even announced his support for the UO. If he had read the plan right, things would not only have gone back to the way they were, but everything would be a hundred times worse. Ignoring Xardius for the moment, he ran out of the building. "Damn it," Xane shouted, not caring who'd hear him. "Mellodia! Mellodia, where the hell are you?" Mellodia and Venture Jr. ran into Xane in a nearby building. "Xane?" Mellodia asked. "What is it?" "You run the Bureau's U.P.A communication unit, right? And there are still reporters all over the place, right?" Xane asked. "Y-yes," Mellodia answered confused. "Then get me a press conference. Live. Now," Xane said, "And read this as you do." Skimming through the papers, Mellodia frowned and ran outside quickly. Surprisingly, moments later, she had pulled Xane outside in front of a large crowd. "Uh, look," Xane said to the millions of reporters in the audience. "The U.P.A has been publicly endorsing us for a while now. But it's not what you think. We try to be the heroes they picture us as, but we don't always make the grade. But I'd argue that we're heroes anyway. And the U.P.A...They want to use us as weapons, assassins, for their organization. Lately, when we refused, they started to turn against us. They plan to do things like defraud us and other **** like that. So I'd advice you to not believe everything you hear from them, but it's your choice," Xane said, turning to head back inside. Before he did, he smirked and winked at Mellodia before saying, "You know what? Since I like you people so much, here's a gift." Xane said, throwing the folder full of the remaining non-UO U.P.A plans in the air. The reporters went ballistic and snatched as many as they could, before running back to their ships, and trying to exit the world as fast as they could. When Xane and Mellodia ran back inside, they were greeted by Pharell Titan and an army of U.P.A troops.
OOC: Well, this is a giant plot point. BIC: "Great. Looks like the worlds are going back to normal, again," Xane said. "Or worse." Running back towards Lexx's office, Xane intended to put an end to the U.P.A's plans. Upon seeing that Lexx wasn't there, he decided to search the office. He found a small compact briefcase. It was locked by some complex combination. Xane simply, ripped it open to see what it contained. Inside the briefcase, he found a manila folder with a lot of documented files in it, one of them labeled The UO Project...
OOC: I'm not so much supporting you as I'm supporting the fact that Skinnar is just some U.P.A officer. He has a high rank and by what he does, you'd think he could breathe in space! Darn you Skinaaahhh! BIC: Xane ate at the dinner buffet. EDIT: OOC: Gotta go.
"Well, I think I've heard enough," Xane said, getting up from his seat. "The U.P.A is starting to crumble. You can't deny that. Though, I'll admit you've done some good to help get rid of anyone tryin' to harm the worlds. I guess we'll just see how it plays out," Xane yawned, heading for the buffet. *** Venture and Mellodia were slightly amused by the sight of Skinnar being thrown out a window. EDIT: OOC: There's no way Skinnar can do that to Xardius! You gotta be kidding. I know he was unharmed, but twisting his hand? And kicking him out the window?
"And they can recapture it," Xane shrugged. "You guys got the resources, but they've got all of the power."
OOC: I still find it hard to believe that Skinnar's that strong...But, whatever... BIC: "The Brotherhood has it?" Xane laughed. "That's even worse. Even if they don't control it, who's to say they won't let it loose like you all did a year back?" *** Venture and Mellodia watched Skinnar as he left the doorway. Venture started to approach Skinnar, his fist raised, but he was stopped by Mellodia. She made a motion that signaled him to calm down, and he relented for the moment.
"I don't really care about your money," Xane yawned, leaning back in his chair. "But you lost the Virus? Really? That's pretty careless." *** EDIT: Venture and Mellodia looked startled as they turned to see Xardius yelling at U.P.A guards.
"What about the Virus? I know you have loads of information on that," Xane said. "You all captured it, right? Where's it being held?" *** Venture noticed Xardius outside the door, but didn't make any effort to speak to him. A relieved look came upon his face when Mellodia exited the doors.
"What?" Xane asked. "No, I just wanted to know wah the U.P.A is hiding. Don't bother denying it, we know you have secrets. Now all you need to do is spill 'em." *** "I'm an ally of the Ultimate Organization as well!" Mellodia shouted. "Ask one of them! Ask Xane!"
Xane shrugged at his friends and the followed Lexx. *** "Easy," Mellodia said, with a smile. "I thought it'd be a good opportunity to join the U.P.A and so I did. Before I joined, I was a general in Tul Raijin's army and later an ally to the U.P.A."
Xane would have normally laughed if something like that happened, but he had other thoughts. "Hey, Lexx," he started. "Since we're in you're employ, can you tell us everything the U.P.A has been hiding for the past few years? Only 'cause we need to know what's going on." *** Venture frowned when he realized Mellodia still remained in the interrogation room. But he couldn't risk going in to check. Mellodia sat patiently and waited for Skinnar to speak once again.
"You sure we got the right guy?" Xane asked. *** Mellodia raised her hand and asked, "Um, yes. Why are you holding all of the agents here? Some of were either in the stands or working in the Bureau offices at the time the...black sand was activated. We have security cameras to prove it."
"Great," Xane said. "Now let's head back." *** The agents had all finished writing. They waited patiently for Skinnar's next order.
Xane yawned. "Where'd you say this guy was again?" *** Mellodia was the next one to be interrogated. She first filled out all of the paper work, as instructed. EDIT: OOC: I thought we were already there...
"If you think so..." Xane said. "I don't really like being in the employ of the U.P.A..." Xane frowned. *** Meanwhile, outside the Bureau's U.P.A offices. A large group of U.P.A employees, were being interrogated by Rentu Skinnar to determine who activated the Anti-Virus Program. Mellodia was among them. Venture Jr waited outside the offices.
