I cried an awful lot when I rewatched it this morning xD Matt Smith is my Doctor and he was amazing! I love Capaldi already (I've loved him for ages though).

This also makes The Name of the Doctor make more sense because it annoyed me that the TARDIS grave interior was the current TARDIS when the desktop theme will probably change many times in the future but now we know the future has been changed. But does this mean that Clara never jumped into his time stream to stop the GI? Because he didn't die on Trenzalore...

Well, I loved it after first questioning whether I did or not. I thought I might have actually found an episode I didn't like... and then I rewatched it and fell in love.

I am glad young Matt Smith regenerated and not the older version as that would feel just wrong. I thought it balanced humour and seriousness quite well and after the second watch, I enjoyed the story. I need to go through the whole Matt era to see if I have any other questions that weren't answered as it was quite a fast paced episode. I loved Handles... I wish he hadn't died D: he was a great companion! I think they need more non-human companions (a timelord one would be so cool!) but anyway, that's beside the point.

I will really miss Matt Smith as he was my Doctor but I cannot wait for Capaldi- I think I heard a Scottish accent (and I hope so) and I can't wait to see the theory of why he looks like people he's met before. Also, it will be quite amusing if he has to relearn things like flying the TARDIS unless that is just post regeneration madness, either way I can't wait for series 8 (oh look... minimum of 8 months to wait ;-;). I want to know why the TARDIS began to randomly crash again... I think I missed what he said to explain it. I was quite sad not to see a face to face transformation, it was incredibly quick but I wondered if that was just because it was the start of a new cycle or whether he had technically already regenerated but was just holding on to say goodbye.

Man, that final speech! It was so good that it was happy, 10 was very "I don't want to go! D:" but this was a satisfied feeling from the Doctor- it's good to see him happy because he has suffered so much.

Also... WHO WAS LINDA!? The woman at the christmas dinner- was she Clara's aunt or something? It would be amusing if it was an external reference to LINDA from Love adn Monsters but I doubt that xD Also, I didn't quite understand the Grandma's story about the pigeon O.o I think I just completely missed that.

The aging thing sort of annoyed me as Cat said- he has been in that body 400 years and never aged at all, but after another 300 years BAM! WRINKLES! and then another 500 years goes by and look at him. The make up was great though, it was sad to see him like that.

It did feel rushed but I also feel that if it was any longer than it would have dragged, it's weird- stuff was just passed over quickly- 300 years happens and then in over within about 1 minutes or less. The pacing just felt weird.

It amused me that they had to get a new actress to play Amelia because Caitlin Blackwood (is that her name? I can't remember) is now 4 years older xD and Karen Gillan! WOO! Although, it annoyed me that she said she would never return or make a cameo but here she is. It was a nice touch even if her hair was so long xD

The wig gag was amusing but I wanted a bit more explanation to the truth field because at the end the Doctor lies when he tells not Barnaby that he has a plan O.o
