Her head snapped up and blue eyes shot to the door. ❝ Are you alive in there? ❞ she heard Milo call out from the other side. Hana sighed. ❝ Just a minute. ❞ she replied. There was some muffled arguing coming from the other side and she wondered if everything was okay. Hana repositioned Reuben to her hip and made her way to the door. Her fingers had just wrapped around the knob when she heard Iris's clear voice come from across the threshold. ❝ It's not safe for your child to be here anymore. I'm taking Anna with me to leave this place. There's still room for two more. ❞ She swallowed down a lump in her throat and took a deep breath before opening the door. Hana gave the three of them a sad smile, her eyes landing on the Nephilim girl, before moving back up to Iris. She parted her lips, but was at a loss for words. They were offering her an out, one she would gladly take, but could not. Hana shook her head, red hair swaying back and forth. ❝ That's nice, but I can't go anywhere. They need me here. ❞ She glanced down at the boy and a heavy weight rested in her chest. He needed her too. She should be putting him first. That's what she was trying to do. It was an impossible decision. A child should have a mother, but what good would having a mother do if the world ended? That wasn't the life she wanted him to grow up in -- though she hadn't had much time to really picture a proper life for him. Hana bit down on her lip before adding more. ❝ He should go with you. You're right about it not being safe here Iris and he deserves to grow up with someone that will take proper care of him. So, please take him with you. I have to stay here. ❞ She mashed her lips together and a tear ran down her face. Breathing felt impossible. She knew this was bound to happen, but had not expected it to come so late. Sooner would have definitely been better -- less painful. He lifted his auburn head, blue eyes shining brightly up at her with concern. ❝ Momma? ❞ Hana pulled him in closer and kissed the top of his head. ❝ It's okay baby. These nice people are going to take care of you for a little bit, but we'll see each other soon. Daddy too. ❞ She lifted him up to face her and smiled. ❝ Do you wanna see him before you go? ❞ Reuben nodded. ❝ 'Kay. Let's go find daddy. ❞ The boy plopped down to his feet and wrapped his tiny fingers around her hand. She looked back at the others and took a shaky breath. ❝ Five minutes and then we'll be ready. ❞

☙ WEARING ✖ OOC ✖ $1 MILLION ❧ Sophia had been doing a good job paying attention to the projection of a man -- person. She wasn't really sure who this projection was. It felt eerie taking orders from someone they couldn't even see, which raised the question again as to why anyone decided to embark on this journey to the strange town in the first place. They were receiving money from a complete stranger and had to play some games to earn the wealth. Though, the had never even heard the sound of their Patron's voice, let alone been given his identity. Oww! She grabbed her wrist where the watch was now embedded. The faceplate was different than an average watch and the projection went on to explain it to them. Sophia inspected it as he spoke, noting all the features mentioned. It still hurt incredibly bad and the skin around it was tender. She poked at her reddened flesh and bit down on her bottom lip in pain. This was not cool. Why couldn't they have normal strange gadget watch things around their wrist? ❝ Now... I should pause for questions, I guess... ❞ said the voice. ❝ Since this is a game and you lose when you run out of money, what happens to the one left standing, the winner? ❞ one of the girls in the crowd asked. ❝ The game master is rich and powerful. ❞ As if that much wasn't obvious enough already. ❝ However they are reaching their limits here. So a replacement is needed. This game has been designed to find that replacement, granting them all the power and money they have if they win. ❞ Short and to the point. Sophia continued to rub her arm and her face contorted into a look of displeasure. She was usually so carefree, but this projection person just left her feeling more unsettled every time he spoke. She sat up straight in her chair, one hand wrapped around her forearm, and cleared her throat. ❝ Excuse me, ❞ she said in her hypnotically sweet soprano voice, ❝ why have we yet to even learn the name of our benefactor? If they are this wealthy to bestow all this money upon us, we must know the name from somewhere; and yet no one has told us who it is. ❞ comment Sophia coolly.

So since we moved, I've had to get rides to work and have been pretty early the last couple of days; leaving me with time to just dink around on my laptop before I start. This morning I was bored. So yeah, crap webcam photo! Spoiler

Cherry! Oh thank glob! Spoiler The finale is good, but not great. You are definitely left wanting to know more about everyone's stories, but it definitely ties the series up nicely. There's no dramatic cliffhangers or open - endedness. I was truly disappointed with how many bad reviews the show got considering there is just so much to work with. They could have done a lot and personally, I really hoped for more of the back stories. I was looking forward to finally seeing Cora as the Queen of Hearts, but then she was only there for like one episode which was disappointing. I had really been hoping for back stories with Alice as a child on her original trip to Wonderland, meeting Jefferson [[ the Hatter ]] and the door mouse. I know his work schedule is busy with Captain America(?) but I had hoped ABC would be able to rope him into a few episodes considering he is never in OUT. Plus, OUTiW has more dreamy boys! While I do like Cyrus's exoticness: I prefer the Knave. I'm glad this isn't the last we'll see of him. Though, I really hope it will be new content with him, not just Storybrooke back story. That would be disappointing, because I love him and Anastasia together. It took me some time to figure out just who Anastasia was exactly. The first time will said her name and we were still clueless to Anna being the Red Queen, all I could think of was the movie Anastasia about the Russian princess. They never came right out and said 'she's one of Cinderella's ugly step - sisters, but eventually the clues were all up in your face and I found it very interesting to see that side of the story. We don't see much of Ashley in OUT, watching an entire show about her elder step - sister was pretty great. I really want them both to be in OUT, not just Will. I'd also like to see how Anastasia and Ashley / Cinderella were to treat each other after everything that has happened and them both finding royalty and whatnot.
So far, I haven't found anyone on KHV that's actually watching it. If you're into the main show, I think you'll like it. Because stories and magic have already been thoroughly introduced, this one gets action - packed and attention grabbing right on the first episode. There's no having to wait two seasons for magicalness to actually take place. Spoiler: Minor Spoilers Any who, last night I watched the finale, but since my access to the outside world is limited, I didn't realize it was the series finale until like the last 2 minutes. I really hoped it would swing a second season or everyone would wind up in Storybrooke, but I think the writers wrapped it up nicely considering they were given the heads up after like episode 3 I think that the likelihood of the show being canceled was high. I want more! // throws tantrums // Though I did read online that the Knave will in fact being joining the OUT cast. I'm wondering if it will be about his life prior to returning to Wonderland, considering he and Anastasia are now the happy White King and Queen rather than her being the lonely Red Queen.
Everyone checks to see if they are okay. The dust seems to settle and cautiously, they move back towards the mess. In the middle of it, lay Leon. Concrete covers his body and blood trickles down his back and sides from the three spikes that landed after he was knocked out from rubble. Further inspection shows no sign of life. Aria glances back up at the ceiling and her eyes widen in surprise and disbelief. A small hole opened, revealing light from the floor above, unfortunately, it's too high to reach or widen. Instead, they are left with Leon's lifeless body and a litter of razor sharp spikes and concrete.
03 Liberty didn't wait to see if the others were coming. There was no way she would risk death by those damn falling projectiles. It was survival of the fittest here and she was going to make it safely back to their room. She ran as fast as she could straight ahead. 02 Carlie may have been a cheerleader, but she was no runner. After hearing Nolan's voice, she broke out into the best sprint she could and booked it back to the room.
Group Four leaves the confines of their room. They decide to explore what is further down the hall. With the beam of the flashlight, it is determined that they reach a DEAD END. Dust and debris falls from the ceiling. Liberty looks up and points to the spikes shaking and Nolan calls out for them to run back. Six
